The company will be singling out and rewarding 425 of its best players across the APAC region

April 28, 2017 — To celebrate Wargaming’s players and their gaming passion across the APAC region, the company is proud to introduce our “Hall of Fame 2016”. The company will be rewarding over 400 players across several titles, including World of Tanks PC and Console, World of Tanks Blitz, and World of Warships, with some fantastic prizes.

“Our players are nothing short of amazing,” said Jungwon Hahn, General Manager of Wargaming APAC. “The Hall of Fame is our way of bringing their dedication to the forefront. It’s a first for us, and we hope it shows how much all our players mean to us.”

You can find the titles that will be eligible for the Hall of Fame 2016 and their criteria below:

World of Tanks PC

  • Over 1000 battles played during 2016
  • Be a top 100 player in APAC server (average win rate at Tier 5+)
  • Be a top 25 player in KR server player (average win rate at Tier 5+)

World of Tanks Blitz

  • Over 15,000 battles in the APAC region, having played in 2016
  • Be a top 100 player (average win rate at Tier 6+)

World of Tanks Console

  • Have played in the APAC region during 2016
  • Be a top 100 player (total damage caused)

World of Warships

  • Over 1000 battles in the APAC region during 2016
  • Be a top 100 player (average win rate)

We know it’s quite likely some people at Wargaming may well fit the criteria above. So, if one of us qualify, we’ll just increase the number in the Hall of Fame, i.e. the number rises to 101, etc. Also, Wargaming employees who qualify will receive no prizes—it’s our job to play, and those players who have received a permanent account ban in the past will be excluded from this list.

The list of players in the Hall of Fame and their rewards will be revealed in the near future, so be sure to keep an eye on our official portals. The different title winners from Hall of Fame 2016 may receive different prizes. While the final design is not fixed, it is just one part of players’ special prizes.

Season Two Adds New Heroes, Maps and Epic Gear 

Sydney, Australia — April 28, 2017 —Ubisoft® has announced that For Honor™ Season Two, Shadow and Might, will launch simultaneously across all platforms on May 16. Shadow and Might will bring new content to For Honor including two additional heroes, two extra maps, new customization items and gameplay updates. Maps and gameplay updates will be free for all players at the start of Season Two. New heroes, the lethal Shinobi and the fierce Centurion, will be available for free immediately for Season Pass holders on May 16, while all other players will be able to unlock them with their in-game Steel on May 23.

In the war between the three deadly factions, Knights, Vikings and Samurai, two new Heroes enter the battlefield:

  • Shinobi (Samurai Assassin) – The Shinobi are silent warriors able to move with a dancer’s grace and kill with precision thanks to a lifetime of disciplined training. They wield the traditional Japanese Kusarigama.
  • Centurion (Knight Hybrid) – The Centurion sees the battlefield like a chessboard. Equipped with the reliable standard issue gladius, Centurions can bypass enemy defenses through strategic close-quarters combat.

The two new maps, Forge and Temple Garden, will expand upon the selection of multiplayer battlefields. Additionally, Season Two will introduce a new level of gear rarity – Epic gear – that will increase the maximum gear score along with a balancing overhaul for the entire gear stats system.

Coinciding with the end of Season One, a new title update (Update 1.06) was released to improve network stability while introducing new gameplay changes and hero balancing. For Honor will continue to be supported post-launch with additional content and consistent gameplay balancing updates.

Love Live Sunshine Worldwide Poster Girl Illustrations Released

Following a vote late last year the illustrations for the Love Live Sunshine!! Worldwide Poster Girl poll have been released. Each girl has been styled in a new outfit to match the region they have been assigned as per the fans vote. The illustrations will be on sale in the Uranohoshi Girls’ High School Store International in Summer 2017, along with the illustrations making an appearance in the School Idol Festival app.

SEOUL, Korea (April 27, 2017) – Today, Netmarble Games Corp., the fastest growing mobile game company in Asia, celebrates the second anniversary of its hit game MARVEL Future Fight, releasing an update introducing three new characters to the game: Mantis, inspired by Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Agent Venom and Whiplash, inspired by Marvel’s Iron Man 2. In addition, four new uniforms inspired by Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot, and Gamora, are now available, as well as a special Starlight Armor uniform for Captain America (Sharon Rogers). The update also introduces “World Boss Ultimate Mode” where players will fight against more challenging world bosses and have the ability to unlock higher levels of difficulty with each stage, furthering their rank in the newly added ranking system. Another notable feature entering the game is “Alliance Conquest” where players will fight to conquer neighboring regions defended by other Alliances’ deployed characters. The Alliance with the most regions by the end of the Conquest will be declared the victor.

  • Mantis – A strange alien who serves Ego, Mantis slowly integrates herself with the Guardians with the help of her empathic powers. She is an adept fighter who uses her mental powers to read the minds of her targets.
  • Agent Venom – A superhuman created when the notorious Venom changed hosts. The new host is a high school schoolmate of Spider-Man and war veteran, Flash Thompson. Unlike the original Venom, he is one of the good guys and is kind. He even joined the Guardians of the Galaxy team in the comics.
  • Whiplash – The villain from Marvel’s Iron Man 2 who developed his own suit using arc technology and vowed to kill Tony Stark to avenge his father by using his weapon of choice, energy whips.

Tactical RPG Expeditions: Vikings Available Now on Steam

Danish indie developers Logic Artists announced that their turn-based tactical RPG Expeditions: Viking is avaliable now on Steam. The game puts players in control of a small Viking village eager to expand its sphere of power. Players will compete with nearby villages for domination as they explore the British Isles. Players can opt for soft power by building diplomatic ties and trade routes with their neighbours or exercise hard power by raiding British monasteries and villages.

The game is available now on Steam for $29.99 USD. The Deluxe Edition is available for $34.99. It includes the base game, a digital artbook, the official soundtrack, and the “Blood-Ice” DLC.

Razer Lancehead Wireless and Tournament Edition Gaming Mice Announced

Razer announced two new gaming mice today. Dubbed the Lancehead, the mouse comes in two flavours: wired and wireless. Both mice boast exclusive switches that are a result of a partnership between Razer and Omron, considered one of the best manufacturers of mechanical mouse switches. The new switches are optimized for the fastest response times on the market and are designed to last up to 50 million clicks. The body features nine programmable buttons and rubber side grips. The two mice are also Razer’s first two products to use the new Razer Synapsis Pro software. Currently in beta testing, the new software features a new UX and hybrid on-board/cloud storage for profiles. Like many of Razer’s products, both mice support Razer Chroma’s RGB lighting system.

The Razer Lancehead Wireless Gaming Mouse features a 5G laser sensor with true 16,000 DPI, 210 inches-per-second (IPS) tracking and 50 G acceleration.
