The reboot of the storied Call of Duty: Modern Warfareseries has launched on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This year’s release marks the return of a singleplayer campaign after Call of Duty:Black Ops 4’s multiplayer only release. The new campaign is a grittier look at war, where the rules of engagement are not always clear. Players will follow the legendary Captain Price as he leads a team of tier one special forces soldiers in a quest to retrieve stolen chemical weapons.
Following the theme of realism, this year’s multiplayer release drops the beloved Zombies mode. Spec Ops mode returns as a four player co-op mode, pitting teams against a global terrorist organization. PVP multiplayer is taking a radical new expansion this year. While classic 6 versus 6 modes like Team Deathmatch are back, the major update to Ground War is stealing the spotlight. Ground war is now a combined arms battleground pitting teams of up to 32 players against each other.
Tense, Impactful Combat and a Grueling Gauntlet
Make this Haunting Action RPG a Triumph to Conquer
PARIS – Oct. 23, 2019 – Brace for an unforgettable (and unforgiving) adventure, as the sidescrolling action RPG Dark Devotion will invite Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 owners into its mysterious temple tomorrow courtesy of indie publishing label The Arcade Crew and developer Hibernian Workshop.
Today’s new launch trailer offers a glimpse of the pivotal battles warriors will face against impossibly powerful foes within Dark Devotion’s labyrinth – assuming they don’t perish from an unspotted lurker’s ambush or carelessly triggered trap while exploring the temple’s treasure-packed hallways. Samplings of the horrors and rewards ahead are on full display in the video.
Dark
Devotion’s weighty
combat makes hack-n-slashing a doomed strategy; faultless timing with parries,
rolls, and strikes coupled with a keen eye for telegraphed attacks and hidden
pitfalls are key to surviving against this world’s devious inhabitants. Keeping
faith in the face of relentless adversity is worth the struggle though, as it
may unlock secret paths and chests never discovered during the previous
journeys of zealots.
Dark
Devotion features:
An armory’s worth of 250 weapons, magic types, pieces of armour, and items
Monumental, teeth-clenching showdowns against 17 unforgettable warriors
A spellbinding wealth of 180 runes, curses, and blessings

A Story Driven Action Strategy Game Made For a Gamepad
La Rochelle, France – October 23rd – Former Creative Assembly developers at independent studio Tower Five today announced that their story-driven fantasy action-strategy game Lornsword Winter Chronicle is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Lornsword Winter Chronicle combines real-time strategy gameplay with an engaging narrative and a direct, action-based control system designed for a gamepad. A dynamic battlefield means battles are hard fought affairs, where blade and shot will be traded in kind as rival factions battle for power and control. Lornsword Winter Chronicle tells the story of an age where the dark magic of priests and shadow weavers clashes with the skilled range attacks of arrows and matchlock rifles in fierce combat.
Players take control of Corun, a Lornknight placed in command of the small fortified town of Tulza in the southern province of the Lorn Empire. As the Lornknight in charge your survival depends on your leadership skills to build bases, gather food and supplies and utilize mines for gold to fund your army.
However, the hardships of combat need not be suffered alone, Lornsword Winter Chronicle’s drop-in local co-op allows players to bring in a friend to take the fight to any oppressors. You will also need to keep a keen eye on resources in order to feed and equip your army in an ever demanding economy as your base expands. Lornsword Winter Chronicle is a game where exploration, combat and resource management go hand in hand.
“Lornsword Winter Chronicle is real-time strategy game built specifically for gamepad controls. Rarely do console players get an opportunity where this control mechanism is built into the fabric of the design from the outset in an RTS”, said Renaud Charpentier, Game Director at Tower Five. “The game provides players with a great combination of combat, resource management and base building with a narrative that will keep them enthralled for hours.”
Lornsword Winter Chronicle also features a rousing orchestral score by Hungarian composer Thomas-Adam Habuda, whose previous work includes promotional music tracks for 20th Century Fox’s ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ and more recently Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
Coinciding with the console launch, Lornsword Winter Chronicle will also come out of Steam Early Access, unleashing the full adventure upon PC players.
About Tower Five Tower Five is an independent video games studio created in 2017, in La Rochelle, France, by a team of experienced game industry veterans, primarily from Creative Assembly. Co-founders are Renaud Charpentier, focusing on design and storytelling, Mattijs van Delden, handling technology, Nicolas Frath, bringing art to life, and Horacio Cassinelli as the concept artist and illustrator of Lornsword. The studio motto “Ars est celare artem” embodies their will to make players forget that they are playing a game and are fully immersed in the player experience thanks to smooth gameplay, evocative art and narrative all of which is supported by solid technology.
About Thomas-Adam Habuda
Thomas-Adam Habuda is a self taught composer from Hungary. Thomas has worked on
a number of games and one of the most notable one was ‘Heroes of Newerth’ by S2
Games where he was responsible for all of the character themes. His music has
also been featured in the theatrical/Tv promotional campaigns of movies like
the 3 times Academy Award nominee ‘Brooklyn’, Disney’s ‘Christopher Robin’,
Netflix’s ‘The OA: Part II’, 20th Century Fox ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ and
recently for Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’ among a variety of others. In 2018
one of his piano performances was featured in the Opening Ceremony for the
‘Winter Olympics’. His music has been recorded by large 125 piece orchestras in
Prague, Bulgaria and the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
Based off Kirkman’s comic book thriller, the game sneaks its way onto Switch November 12th
Los Angeles, October 23, 2019 – Rival Games, the critically acclaimed developer behind Alien: Blackout, and multiplatform entertainment company Skybound Entertainment are happy to announce that Thief of Thieves: Season One arrives on the eShop for Nintendo Switch on November 12th for $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99. Thief of Thieves: Season One lets users play as burglar Celia using stealth, social engineering and assistance from your team to pull off some high profile heists across the world. Originally divided into four volumes and released separately on Steam and Xbox One, the entire anthology will be available at launch.
Based on the award winning comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Thief of Thieves: Season One tells the story of Celia, the protege of master thief Conrad “Redmond” Paulson, as she joins a new team of criminals and advances from apprentice to master. For every heist you must plan with your team, sneak your way in, react to any obstacles you face, and escape using stealth and cunning – after all, violence is what separates thieves from thugs. Get to know your team and choose your approach on the field. But be careful: the choices you make shape the narrative and may have drastic consequences.
Thief of Thieves: Season One is developed by the Finnish independent studio Rival Games in partnership with Skybound Entertainment. The story transitions between comic frames and gameplay, as Celia makes her way through scenes ranging from cocktail parties to construction yards by using her skills in social engineering and stealth. The unique visual style of 2D hand drawn comics and 3D environments combine into one seamlessly flowing story experience. Shawn Martinbrough, the artist behind the Thief of Thieves: Season One comic, provided concepts behind many of the new living breathing characters brought to life by such voice actors like Fryda Wolff (Mass Effect: Andromeda), Stephen Stanton (Rogue One), Emily O’Brien (Death Stranding), Cissy Jones (Firewatch, The Walking Dead: Season 1), Fred Tatasciore (Kung-Fu Panda 2), and Elias Toufexis (Deus Ex: Human Revolution).
“It was a completely new experience working on an already established IP but the creative freedom that Skybound gave allowed us to create something brand new and exciting for Thief of Thieves,” said Jukka Laakso, CEO of Rival Games. “We’re excited to introduce this iteration of Celia’s story to fans old and new.”

The first in a new series of dev diaries goes behind the scenes with Narrative Designer Benjamin Kuhn and Art Director Michael Teske.
HAMBURG, Germany — Oct. 22, 2019: Daedalic Entertainment has published the first in a new series of developer diaries about its upcoming team-based real-time strategy game, A Year Of Rain. Narrative Designer Benjamin Kuhn and Art Director Michael Teske discuss the narrative freedom the fantasy genre allows them, the ways in which two-player co-op can shape storytelling, and how each faction plays a unique part in the game’s rich world.
This dev diary also introduces for the first time A Year
Of Rain’s third playable faction — the Wild Banners. As the name suggests,
this faction is an amalgam of reclusive nomads, tribes, and monstrous
humanoids. They are fierce survivalists ready to fight for every scrap of this
harsh world.
The heroes leading the Wild Banner armies are every bit as
diverse as the faction itself. The Gnoll Chieftain boosts and heals his allies
while unleashing a barrage of arrows on his foes. The stealthy and mobile
hellspawn Shadowdancer is extremely lethal against single enemies. And the
fungal creature known as The Myconid controls the battlefield with spores and
minions while supporting allies with symbiotic boosts.
A Year Of Rain will launch on Steam Early Access on
Nov. 6, 2019. Wishlist the game on Steam, and for more information, visit www.ayearofrain.com.

Forward-Looking Statements: This press
release contains forward-looking statements pursuant to the safe harbor
provisions of the Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, which are subject
to various risks and uncertainties. These risks and uncertainties include,
without limitation, risks relating to: WWE Network; major distribution
agreements; our need to continue to develop creative and entertaining programs
and events; a decline in the popularity of our brand of sports entertainment;
the continued importance of key performers and the services of Vincent K.
McMahon; possible adverse changes in the regulatory atmosphere and related
private sector initiatives; the highly competitive, rapidly changing and
increasingly fragmented nature of the markets in which we operate and greater
financial resources or marketplace presence of many of our competitors;
uncertainties associated with international markets; our difficulty or
inability to promote and conduct our live events and/or other businesses if we
do not comply with applicable regulations; our dependence on our intellectual
property rights, our need to protect those rights, and the risks of our
infringement of others’ intellectual property rights; the complexity of our
rights agreements across distribution mechanisms and geographical areas;
potential substantial liability in the event of accidents or injuries occurring
during our physically demanding events including, without limitation, claims
relating to CTE; large public events as well as travel to and from such events;
our feature film business; our expansion into new or complementary businesses
and/or strategic investments; our computer systems and online operations; a
possible decline in general economic conditions and disruption in financial
markets; our accounts receivable; our revolving credit facility; litigation;
our potential failure to meet market expectations for our financial performance,
which could adversely affect our stock; Vincent K. McMahon exercising control
over our affairs, and his interests may conflict with the holders of our Class
A common stock; a substantial number of shares which are eligible for sale by
the McMahons and the sale, or the perception of possible sales, of those shares
could lower our stock price; and the relatively small public “float” of our
Class A common stock. In addition, our dividend is dependent on a number of
factors, including, among other things, our liquidity and cash flow, strategic
plan (including alternative uses of capital), our financial results and
condition, contractual and legal restrictions on the payment of dividends
(including under our revolving credit facility), general economic and
competitive conditions and such other factors as our Board of Directors may
consider relevant. Forward-looking statements made by the Company speak only as
of the date made, are subject to change without any obligation on the part of
the Company to update or revise them, and undue reliance should not be placed
on these statements.
