Asphalt 9: Legends on Mac Brings Cross-Play, Cross-Saves, New Control Options and More to Famed Racing Game

Paris, January 17th, 2020 – Gameloft, leader in the development and publishing of games, is thrilled to announce that Asphalt 9: Legends, winner of the 2019 Apple Design Award, is now available on macOS Catalina. With the power of Mac Catalyst, Gameloft Barcelona was able to create a cross-platform experience of Asphalt 9: Legends for the Apple ecosystem, allowing players to start their racing career on their iOS devices and seamlessly resume it on their Mac, leveraging cross-saves. Players will experience all of the same content on macOS, iPadOS and iOS, including the boundary-pushing graphics of Asphalt 9: Legends on an even bigger screen and at higher resolutions while running at 60fps. Additionally, players can transfer their progress between the two versions using Sign in with Apple, and explore new control options, such as keyboard and mouse. Finally, the macOS version will have content parity with the iOS version of Asphalt 9: Legends moving forward.

Announced on stage at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference last June, the release of Asphalt 9: Legends on Mac was made more seamless thanks to the tools provided by Apple’s Mac Catalyst development platform. Gameloft is excited to leverage this new technology and bring Asphalt 9: Legends to macOS in a very streamlined way, and to bring even more players to the races.

The latest title in the electrifying 1 vs. 1,000 series of hack-and-slash adventures is set to launch on the 14th February 2020 on the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System, the Nintendo Switch™, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, and digitally on Windows PC via Steam®.

WARRIORS OROCHI 4 Ultimate enlists gamers to take on the Trial of Zeus in the all-new Infinity mode. Warriors will take a three-player party on this harrowing adventure, as they attempt to clear the trials of the 12 towers, with dungeons representing each sign of the zodiac. As they clear each trial, gamers will earn experience points, unlock characters, and strengthen weapons through battle — combating tougher and tougher enemies with each advancement up the tower.

The more you play as certain characters, either through Infinity mode or through the game’s main story, the more you’ll be able to rank up certain abilities. In WARRIORS OROCHI 4 Ultimate, a character who has been raised to level 100 will return to a rank of 1, enabling you to further strengthen them and expand their skill tree. Promotion can be performed a total of 10 times, empowering you to boost favorite characters to the limit, creating the ultimate warriors to take on Odin’s mysterious army.

In addition, the powerful Sacred Treasures can now be interchanged among characters. In the past, this was fixed for each individual, but in WARRIORS OROCHI 4 Ultimate, you can now play with your favorite combination of magic, unleashing fierce combinations like never before.

Also new in WARRIORS OROCHI 4 Ultimate is Yang Jian’s special ability to deify in battle. Until now, deification could only be used by characters who are selected for eight special bracelets. In WARRIORS OROCHI 4 Ultimate, Yang Jian can deify without using a bracelet, opening the eye on his forehead and unleashing a unique magical spell. While spinning his weapon, his divine canine, Xiaotian, becomes enveloped in water, running in circles to generate a whirlpool to take out any enemy who steps in its way.

Crytek name Koch Media Publisher of their online multi-player bounty hunting game for Xbox One and PS4, announce PS4 release date and upcoming content.

Sydney (Australia), January 17, 2020 – Hunt: Showdown is getting a new publisher! Today Crytek announced that Koch Media will act as Hunt: Showdown’s publisher on PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One moving forward. Koch Media is responsible for both the global retail and digital releases of the game on these platforms. The extended partnership follows Koch Media’s successful retail release of Hunt: Showdown for PC in 2019. Crytek will continue to develop Hunt: Showdown, and act as publisher for the PC version on Steam. The two companies will be working together closely to deliver the best possible gaming experience across all platforms.

Alongside this news, Crytek and Koch Media revealed that Hunt: Showdown will be available on PlayStation®4 on February 18 2020.

“With Koch handling the publishing side of things, our development team can put all of their focus on continuing to develop and optimize Hunt across platforms, together with our community,” said Crytek CEO Avni Yerli. “While we focus on development, Koch will apply their immense digital and retail publishing expertise to the title, supporting the game’s continued growth. Xbox Insiders in all Xbox One-supported countries can try the preview and help shape the future of game streaming starting today. That means you can try out the Xbox Console Streaming (Preview)!

Xbox Console Streaming is our new system feature that enables you to play your owned and installed Xbox One games, including Xbox Game Pass titles, on your Android phone or tablet, streamed from your home console. We view the public preview as an important step in our journey to deliver game streaming to Xbox players around the world! We are learning from Xbox Insiders like you whenever you participate in these new technologies.

Team Xbox is pleased and encouraged by the response from those Xbox Insiders in the US and the UK who have participated since we launched in October. The community has provided invaluable feedback that has already improved the experience. And we’re continuing to roll out improvements over the course of the preview. In fact, Xbox Insiders joining us today will soon benefit from the latest improvements in an upcoming update. WORLD OF HORROR follows the rural residents of a seaside Japanese town facing inhuman terrors in a world spiraling toward madness. Investigate the return of eldritch monsters and solve puzzles to collect arcane spell components. Struggle against malevolent legends of folklore like the Aka Manto and Kuchisake-onna, summoned by performing dark rites.

Fight to survive this nightmare roguelite reality with turn-based combat. Each of the five playable characters available in Early Access has their own stats and perspective on the horrors unfolding in their hometown. Defeat gruesome bosses, all illustrated and animated with disturbing images made in Microsoft Paint with a classic 1-bit graphic style.

Choose from among 10 mysteries with procedurally generated events in Early Access, investigating unleashed horrors as chance encounters wreak havoc on your stamina and sanity. Explore dark corners for clues and hidden helpful items to reach the best of many ghastly endings. Unlock new events from encounters and achievements along the way, starting the next run with a deeper pool of terrifying possibilities for WORLD OF HORROR to draw from.

Inspired by the works of Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft, WORLD OF HORROR is a psychological thriller with uncanny urban sites and twisted storylines. Collaborating with Panstasz on the writing for WORLD OF HORROR is Cassandra Khaw, script writer at Ubisoft, author of the critically acclaimed horror novel Hammers on Bone, and writer behind games like Wasteland 3, Sunless Skies and She Remembered Caterpillars.

The first two installments of the Metro series arrive on Switch this February

LARKSPUR, Calif. (Jan 16, 2020) – Deep Silver and developer 4A Games are proud to announce that Metro Redux will release on Nintendo Switch™ on Feb 28, 2020.  Metro Redux is the ultimate two-game collection including the definitive versions of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Metro Redux will immerse players into one of the most atmospheric worlds in gaming fully brought to life on the Nintendo Switch.  

Metro Redux contains all of Metro: Last Light’s single player DLC offering a further 10 hours of bonus content beyond the base game. Players can experience life in the Moscow Metro through two unique play styles – use the “Survival” play style to approach the campaign as a slow burn survival horror. Or tackle it with the combat skills of a Ranger with the “Spartan” play style.

Purchasers of the retail boxed edition of Metro Redux will find both games and all DLC on one cart with no additional download required. The ‘Ranger Cache Pre-order Pack’ is available at select retailers and contains a Metro Redux pin badge set, game case sleeve, double-sided alternate artwork inlay, four double sided art cards and a full color Metro poster. Those who prefer digital copies can purchase Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light individually from the Nintendo e-Shop.

The retail version of Metro Redux for the Nintendo Switch will launch on Feb 28, 2020 with a MSRP of $49.99. Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light can be purchased individually through the Nintendo eShop for $24.99 per title.
