VR gunslinging space western Speedy Gun Savage is now available on Steam Early Access

Slay bosses and earn bounties on HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift

Hyderabad, India – April 9th, 2021 – Gamitronics are excited to reveal that their gunslinging space western VR-exclusive Speedy Gun Savage is out today on Steam Early Access for $9.99. Compatible with HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift, this Early Access build is feature complete, but to ensure that it’s as polished as possible, community feedback will be taken into account before the full launch this Summer, when it will also be available on Valve Index and PlayStation VR.

Speedy Gun Savage is an arcade shooter putting players in the gunslinging boots of alien bounty hunter Wolf as they embark on a quest through three stages of futuristic, western-inspired shootouts. Joined by their robot sidekick 3V4N, Speedy Gun Savage features a dynamic cover system, three guns, over a dozen enemy types, and three planets each with multiple levels and with their own unique bosses. Each stage offers replayability with online leaderboards as players hone their gunslinging game in this steampunk adventure.

To commemorate this Early Access launch, Gamitronics wanted to share the story trailer which will introduce you to the game’s gunslinging alien bounty hunter protagonist Wolf, and the various planets he roams in search of his bounties. Check it out:

In addition to their work in video games, Gamitronics has worked on numerous theme park attractions using both VR and robotics. Many of these were based around known video game properties including Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and Battlefield, wherein these franchises were realized in painstaking detail for publishers such as Capcom, Square Enix, and EA. Speedy Gun Savage is a sizzle reel for what they can do by consolidating all of their VR and robotics specializations entirely into one blistering video game showcase.

“Speedy Gun Savage is the perfect hybrid of classic arcade shooter and high tech wizardry,” said CEO of Gamitronics, Rajat Ojha. “Having worked on numerous theme park attractions, we have a keen eye for the kinds of immersive, timeless experiences people crave. Western shootouts are a captivating fantasy, as are spacefaring adventures, so we decided to combine the two in VR. We think players will have a rootin’, tootin’ time!

Deathloop Pushed Back Again to September 14

Once again Bethesda and Arkane Lyon has announced that they will be delaying their upcoming release of Deathloop from its previously planned release of May 21st to September 14th. This delay is the latest in a series of push backs in the industry as a whole and the third such delay to hit Deathloop in particular.

The reason given for Deathloop‘s delay this time around is that the developer is “committed to quality and preserving our team’s ambitions” while trying to make sure that the team remains safe in these times. The extra development time will be used to “create a fun, stylish, and mind-bending player experience.” As it stands, Deathloop is now set to be released on the PlayStation 5 and PC on September 14th.

Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 Debut Trailer and Screenshots Revealed

Aquaplus and Tamsoft have announced that they are continuing the musou spinoffs for Utawarerumono as the company has announced that Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 will be releasing in Japan on July 22nd for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. To go along with this announcement the company released a number of screenshots as well as a debut trailer featuring parts of the opening video and some gameplay footage. It is worth noting that considering Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 is set after the events of not only the first game but also after the first visual novel, players may not want to watch it in an effort to avoid spoiling themselves.

Utawarerumono: ZAN 2 will feature not only a number of new playable characters but has also seen a number of changes since the first game in response to player feedback and the company has noted that, since the original voice actor for Haku has passed away, that any new scenes featuring the character will be voiced by Keiji Fujiwara.

Traffic Jams is available on Oculus Quest and PC VR and supports Oculus store cross-buy. A PlayStation VR release follows later this Australian winter.

Watch the launch trailer, which shows off a sneak peek of the game’s career mode, its wacky crossroads full of unexpected twists and turns, and its asymmetrical multiplayer mode here:

“After over a year of hard work, we are very happy and proud to share Traffic Jams with the world,” said Yannis Bolman, CEO at Little Chicken Game Company. “From the first demo, we’ve seen people have so much fun with it. Through the power of VR, players get so immersed that we’ve seen testers jump around when cars started crashing. We put a lot of effort into making the game fun and rewarding, whether you’re a seasoned player or new to VR. We’re excited to see everyone let out their inner traffic controller and control traffic in their own way!”

In the world of Traffic Jams all traffic lights have gone out. It’s up to you to keep traffic flowing in the face of outrageous events and flagrant road rage! The second half of Season Pass 2 arrives, bringing with it a brand new raid boss, murder mystery story missions, daily and weekly challenges via Vault Cards, and a cache of behind-the-scenes content

Attention Vault Hunters! New challenges await you in the Borderlands® 3 Director’s Cut add-on, which is now available for purchase separately and available to download for owners of Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition or Season Pass 2.* In addition, the brand new Disciples of the Vault cosmetic packs just debuted alongside Director’s Cut; two new loot machines have been added to the base game for use by all players; and Borderlands 3 has joined the PlayStation Now library.

As the add-on’s launch trailer shows, Director’s Cut includes a colossal Varkid raid boss named Hemovorous the Invincible, as well as an interplanetary murder mystery. You’ll also find the first of three planned Vault Cards. By completing Vault Card challenges, you gain progress toward unlocking themed rewards, including unique Legendary gear, tons of new cosmetic items, and a brand new in-game resource: Diamond Keys.

For those interested in learning more about how games like Borderlands 3 get made, Director’s Cut also includes a wealth of behind-the-scenes content. Explore a gallery full of concept art, view deleted scenes, see some of the team’s favorite pre-release bugs, and maybe find answers to some questions you didn’t even know you had.

Coinciding with the release of Director’s Cut, the Disciples of the Vault cosmetic packs have been granted to players who own Season Pass 2 or Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition and are now available for purchase separately. These cosmetic packs show who Borderlands 3’s Vault Hunters would have become if they’d joined the Children of the Vault. Each character-specific pack includes a one-of-a-kind Vault Hunter body and matching head, which you can mix and match with any other customization options you have in your collection.

In addition, two new machines have now been added to the base game: Crazy Earl’s Reroll and Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, both of which are available to all players at no additional cost. Crazy Earl’s Reroll replaces the existing Anointment on a specified item in exchange for some Eridium. Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine offers top-tier Legendary loot and will be hidden in a new location within the base game each week. It’ll be up to the Borderlands community to track it down and see what he’s got.

Free Season Two of Game Dev Sitcom 3 out of 10 Arrives on Epic Games Store

Free Season Two of Game Dev Sitcom 3 out of 10 Arrives on Epic Games Store

BOSTON — 8 April, 2020 — 3 out of 10, the episodic playable sitcom about daily life at the world’s worst game development studio, debuts the entire Season Two on the Epic Games Store for free today. Five new episodes continue the satirical story grabbed by over 9 million players during Season One.

Season One’s cliffhanger ending left us with more questions than answers—sorry about that! New animator Midge managed to survive five episodes of her coworkers’ game dev shenanigans—shipping interns back to their game dev college, an office-wide battle royale, sentient mannequins, the usual—only to cohort with the mysterious man beneath the parasol and attempt to sabotage the studio’s game! What’s the deal with Mr. Parasol, anyway? Why is Midge sneaking behind her coworkers’ backs?

With Season Two’s debut today, there is a 50% chance that some, all, or none of your questions will be answered.

Step back into the lives of the most ineffectual game developers in existence. Tag along with a dynamic quintet of memorable characters—plus at least four others—as they aspire to earn a review score higher than a 3 out of 10 while doing everything in their power to do anything else. Prove your cred in a colorful gamer nightclub, survive the lead designer’s discovery of coffee, and defend against murderous motion-capture drones.

Hijinks ensue in this loving mash-up of animation tropes, sitcom laughs, and the video game industry. Easy to pick up and play, 3 out of 10 offers revolutionary, TV-inspired features like scene selection, scene skip, fast forward and rewind. Replay the best moments, jump back to previous areas to find collectibles, or skip mini-games you don’t love at first sight.

Then again, what’s not to love about spike-filled and fire-fueled gauntlets, surviving the subterranean horrors of a ball pit, twisting metal off vehicular monstrosities, or playing a tabletop version of Shovelworks Studios’ endless runner with an end? Bust a rhyme in a rap battle about trains, enjoy the world’s most exciting loading screen, and battle through a ventilation system inspired by dungeon crawlers.

“When developing the mini-games for Season Two, we looked to gaming’s past to concoct humorous takes for the present day,” said Joe Mirabello, guy creatively in charge at Terrible Posture Games. “Then, during a viewing of Die Hard, I thought, ‘What if: vents?’ and the rest was history.”

3 out of 10: Season Two premieres today on the Epic Games Store for free. For those looking to catch-up or revisit the story, 3 out of 10: Season One is available now on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, as well as the Epic Games Store. For more deft humor and flawless comedic stylings, hang out with Terrible Posture Games on Twitter, Facebook, Discord, and the official website.
