Train Sim World 2: Clinchfield Railroad Available Now on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

KENT, UK – Apr. 8, 2021 – Experience classic railroading moving heavy coal and manifest freight through the heart of Virginia’s coalfields with Train Sim World 2: Clinchfield Railroad.

Fabulous and famous: The Clinchfield Railroad was one of America’s most extraordinary railroads. Often called “The Rio Grande of the East” for its spectacular scenery and challenging mountain railroading, the Clinchfield (which is now CSX’s Kingsport Subdivision) was both an extraordinary coal hauler and a busy and vital bridge line for manifest freight traffic, providing a link between the Chesapeake & Ohio on its north end and the Seaboard Coast Line in the south.

It’s your job to take charge of the heavy coal and manifest freight services through the rugged Appalachian Mountains. Load coal from one of several mines in peaks of Virginia, and explore not only the main line, but the various local branches, each with its own challenges and character.

Take control of the instantly recognizable EMD F7 diesel locomotive, dressed in the vibrant and coal dust-coated Clinchfield Railroad livery. Alternatively, get a taste of something then-new, the EMD SD40, before its more recent upgrades to become the loco that exists today.

Train Sim World 2: Clinchfield Railroad is out now, priced at $29.99/£24.99. The route features:

  • 37 mile Route – Between Elkhorn City, Kentucky and Dante, Virginia. It also includes the 5-mile Haysi branch, 14-mile Fremont branch, 2-mile McClure spur and 6-mile Nora spur!
  • Iconic Locos – Drive the CRR F7A & B and SD40 diesel locomotives featuring highly detailed driving cabs with accurate true-to-life performance and handling
  • In-depth Tutorials – Learn how to drive the F7 & SD40 with training modules that introduce you to the braking and safety systems.
  • Journey Mode – Featuring over 24 hours of activities to master, including unique scenarios with changing weather and real-world services.
  • Collectables – Walk around the route on foot and complete tasks like clearing fallen logs and refilling fire buckets.
  • Customization Tools – Use the Livery Designer to create your own unique designs, and the Scenario Planner to build your own service.

MULTIPLAYER SOCIAL DEDUCTION GAME FIRST CLASS TROUBLE AVAILABLE NOW ON STEAM EARLY ACCESS

DECEIVE OR BE DECEIVED IN A HOMICIDAL ROBOT REVOLT ON THE MOST CHAOTIC CRUISE YOU’VE EVER BEEN ON

Baltimore, MD – April 8th, 2021 – Independent developer Invisible Walls in partnership with indie publisher Versus Evil are excited to announce that their multiplayer social deduction game First Class Trouble is now available on Steam Early Access.

Set in an alternate 1950’s universe on board the ISS Alithea, a passenger cruise-liner on its maiden 20 year journey across the solar system, First Class Trouble is a multiplayer social deduction game where six players must work together to shut down C.A.I.N., the rogue A.I. onboard the luxury space cruise-liner that is trying to kill them. Two of the six players are chosen at random to secretly play as Personoids, killer humanoids sent by C.A.I.N. to infiltrate and ultimately betray the other players, known as Residents.

Collaboration underpins the nature of First Class Trouble’s gameplay which utilizes built-in proximity-based voice chat to elevate the social dynamics of actual conversations. As friends split off from the group to scheme and plot, you won’t hear a victim’s cry for help if they’re too far from you.  Residents will need to use teamwork to accomplish different co-operative tasks to navigate the different maps while the Personoids lie, disrupt, and deceive their way through the ship to kill off the Residents. Players can find themselves offed in a number of unique ways including being dumped out of airlocks, drowned in spa pools, electrocuting each other, pushed into a burning fire or freezing to death from being locked in freezers.

Partly funded by the Danish Film Institute as well as a recipient of an Epic Games MegaGrant, developer Invisible Walls is utilizing the Unreal Engine to bring the world of First Class Trouble to life. The game emphasizes how development teams, publishers and government contribution can combine to deliver new player experiences under one creative vision.

“First Class Trouble combines all the chaos, hilarity and fun you’d expect from a social deduction game played with friends. It’s as hilarious to watch as it is hugely entertaining to play, and the mix of personalities and the actual social aspect of getting together is a welcome pause from everything happening around us in our daily lives. Without a doubt, the team at Invisible Walls have created a competitive addition to the hugely popular social deduction genre.” Said Steve Escalante,General Manager of Versus Evil.

Further details to bring First Class Trouble to consoles will be announced by Versus Evil and Invisible Walls sometime later this year.

To wishlist the game or to find more details on the forthcoming updates during early access be sure to check out the First Class Trouble Steam page here.

Survive the Collapse of Society on the Rooftops of Skyscrapers in Survival RPG Highrisers, Coming 6th May for PC

Scrounge supplies, craft items, and avoid the swarms of infected “dreamers” in a towering cityscape

Wiesbaden, Germany 8th April, 2021. Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Solar Powered Games are inviting you to survive the end-of-days high above the chaos of the city streets in Highrisers, a survival RPG with heavy crafting elements heading to Windows PC via Steam on 6th May, 2021. In Highrisers, society has collapsed due to a mysterious affliction that causes people to become “Dreamers”, light-sensitive sombanulators. To stay safe, the remaining survivors have taken to the relatively protected rooftops of the city’s towering skyscrapers. They’ll need to find supplies, craft gear, and repair the helicopter that promises to fly them away from the danger and into a safe, new world.

In Highrisers, players take on the role of one of four survivors, eking out an existenc  e on the upper floors of an expansive skyline. Down below, in the dimly lit lower floors, infected Dreamers begin to gather, increasing in numbers every night when the sun sets and their aggression amplifies. Each survivor brings different skills to the table, which they’ll need to successfully engage in missions to the dangerous lower floors in search of weapons, supplies, gear, and most importantly: parts to repair the helicopter.

Watch the brand new trailer for Highrisers on YouTube here

Key Features of Highrisers

  • Takin’ it to the Top: The city’s streets and lower floors are filled with dangerous infected Dreamers, and the only safe spots left are the top floors of towering skyscrapers. It’s also, conveniently, a great place to park a helicopter…if only it worked.
  • Risk it for the Biscuit: In order to survive, players will need supplies, including weapons, gear, and of course, food. Head down to the lower floors and risk the dangers to get the best equipment and ingredients — just watch out for Dreamers and remember, every night they climb higher and higher..
  • Four Characters, Four Playstyles: Players can choose from four different survivors, Jes, Ike, Ann and Mo, each with their own unique abilities and backstory. Whether the plucky young Jes with her affinity for tech, or the mechanic Ike and his handy ability to repair machines, each character offers a different personality, a deep skill tree, and an individual approach to survival!
  • Procedurally Generated Vertical Chaos: Randomized level layouts encourage multiple playthroughs where each run is different than the last, sometimes you get lucky, other times you get caught by the Dreamers and it’s game over!

Developed by Solar Powered Games and published by Assemble Entertainment, Highrisers will launch on Windows PC via Steam on 6th May, 2021. Add the game to your wishlist by visiting the Steam Store page and learn more at the official website.
