In what is a bit of odd news it has been announced that The World Next Door, an indie game featuring visual novel style storytelling and puzzle battles, will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch and PC through multiple digital storefronts courtesy of Viz Media who, for the most part, has only handled releasing anime and manga in the past.
The World Next Door, when it is released on March 28th, will be priced at $14.99 and will follow the story of Jun, a rebellious teen, who finds herself trapped in the parallel world inhabited by magical beings. Developed by Rose City Games and featuring character designs by Lord Gris, the game will see players taking part in real time puzzle battles in a universe where the human realm and the magical world of Emrys are connected by portals.
