THQ Nordic and Weappy Studio announced This is The Police 2 will launch on August 2nd, 2018 on Linux, Mac, and Windows. The PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One will get their version in Autumn 2018 (Spring 2018 in the Southern Hemisphere). This is The Police 2 mixes elements of virtual novels, puzzles, simulations, strategy, and adventure games.
This is The Police 2 is set in the small town of Sharpwood. Players take on the role of Lilly Reed, the new sheriff in town. Sharpwood is full of unsavoury characters willing to test the powers of the law, such as smugglers, cultists, and gangs. To make matters worse, Reed is a young woman finding her leadership challenged by the older, male deputies who aren’t thrilled about their new female sheriff. As if things could get any worse for Reed, a stranger known as Warren Nash comes to Sharpwood, bringing with him the match that might just set the whole town on fire.
