Polish developers CD Projekt Red took to Twitter today to announce that some files for Cyberpunk 2077 have been stolen and that the company has received a ransom note. CD Projekt Red has decided to not pay the ransom and is expecting the files to leak online in the coming days. They are preemptively warning gamers that the information is extremely out dated and that the game has changed radically since the documents were made. The full announcement can be found below:

Cyberpunk 2077 is the open world RPG based on the Cyberpunk 2020 pen and paper RPG franchise. Little information has been released about the game, besides the confirmation of the REDengine 4 and both single and multiplayer gameplay.
