It’s a very, very close friendship

Crunchyroll has added yet another new anime to their Winter 2014 lineup, with the acquisition of Sakura Trick. The anime itself is set to be animated by Studio Deen and focuses on the unique new relationship that develops between two old friends.

Based on the 4-panel yuri manga written and illustrated by Tachi, Sakura Trick focuses on two girls Haruka Takayama and Yuu Sonoda, who were inseparable during junior high. However, as they entered high school, they end up being seated on opposite sides of the room. Having to spend time with more friends, the two girls decide to do something to make their relationship special.

Sakura Trick is set to broadcast every Friday starting on January 10, at 9:00a.m (Pacific Time) for premium members, with a week delay for free members. So if this is the type of anime that piques your interest, make sure you tune in and watch the budding romance between these two girls. It’s kind of sweet in an innocent, friendly way.
