Metro Simulator 2 makes its debut on Nintendo Switch, a realistic and relaxing simulator with faithfully reproduced subway realities and train control mechanics.

The release date for Metro Simulator 2 on Nintendo consoles has been set for February 21st of this year. The game had previously been released on PC, and versions for PlayStation and Xbox consoles are also planned for 2024.

Metro Simulator 2 was created by KishMish Games, a studio known for well-received games such as Bus World and Fly Corp. The simulator was first released on PC in June 2023. The preparation and release of the version for Nintendo Switch were handled by the Polish company Ultimate Games S.A.

The title from KishMish Games is a unique game featuring subways and trains in the main roles. Metro Simulator 2 stands out primarily for its faithful reproduction of the subway itself and the mechanics of train control.

The simulator allows players to become subway train drivers. The title offers both a free play mode and prepared scenarios with set schedules, which include predetermined conditions and situations. In Metro Simulator 2, players will find a total of 2 trains with different control systems, as well as a subway with 24 stations and various tunnels and objects.

The developers have also prepared an advanced speed control system, which helps prevent potential collisions or other undesirable incidents. In Metro Simulator 2, players must also monitor the speedometer and traffic lights, among other things, to ensure a safe ride.

Steam Closed Beta Kicks Off March 15

SEATTLE – Feb. 21, 2024 – Publisher tinyBuild and developer DogHowl Games today announced that Level Zero: Extraction, the upcoming first-person multiplayer extraction horror game previously known as Level Zero, will conduct a closed beta test on Steam starting March 15, 2024. Explore the depths, heights and far corners of the kingdom for lore-filled relics. Collect and trade gold for upgraded items at the Blacksmith’s storefront. Combine story fragments from the kingdom’s fleeing inhabitants with Lilac’s forgotten memories. Seek the truth in an atmospheric hand-drawn setting set to the soothing serenades of returning musical group Mili (Ghost in the Shell, Goblin Slayer) with a brand new original soundtrack available for purchase at launch.

ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in The Mist will arrive on Nintendo Switch in 2024 with language options in Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), and Korean-language support.

Today, Minecraft announced it will be introducing Add-ons to the Minecraft Marketplace for Minecraft Bedrock edition. 

Add-ons are like mods – they change the way that things in the game look and behave – and unlike a lot of other Marketplace content, they can be applied to your existing worlds. With Add-Ons, you can add custom blocks, items, mobs, recipes, and other game content to your worlds. For example, an Add-on might create a gravestone where a player dies, safely storing their items until broken, or add a portal that players can build to connect two points in the overworld. Add-ons can be applied to multiplayer worlds and Realms, and only the world owner needs to own the Add-on. In addition, we want to emphasise that players can continue installing non-Marketplace mods — We have no plans to remove the ability to sideload mods from popular third-party websites or mobile apps that are compliant with the Minecraft End-User License Agreement (EULA). 

Think of this initial launch as a “snapshot” of what Add-ons will look like in the future – a preview meant to test them out and gather feedback from the community with more to come later this year.
