Hot off of this year’s 2024 Tokyo Game Show feature and a recent trailer reveal, brutal comic book-inspired action-meets-stealth platformer SteamDolls – Order Of Chaos has debuted a brand new demo on Steam (live today, October 3rd, at 11am EST / 8am PST). This new demo was long in the making and is now taking over the game’s old “Concept Demo” page from 2019. This demo contains the prologue sequence to the game. Current plans are for this demo to be available for the time being in order for long-time followers of the game (and new fans alike) to receive immediate access, but then to be migrated to a separate sub-page of the main game ahead of the next upcoming Steam NextFest, of which the game is participating in. On October 14th, the game will debut a limited-time extended demo on the aforementioned new demo application page.

The title, originally teased to the public back in 2019, boasts a reunion of AAA voice actors from the Metal Gear Solid franchise (no relation to studio), including David Hayter, Christopher Randolph, and Jennifer Hale. It bills itself as a unique stealth-meets-metroidvania experience, with brutal combat and deep levels of exploration. The demo trailer can be viewed below:

Originally conceived in 2019 based on a comic book from the development studio and then Kickstarted soon after, SteamDolls has been a passion project of its director. A small concept demo was originally launched at the time of original conception, which acted as a small preview of the original title. Since then, the game has changed significantly, undergoing a significant visual upgrade as well as an overhaul of gameplay. The original concept demo, which acted as a vertical slice presentation of the game’s concept, will be launched out of Early Access with this new updated demo replacing such. A separate, longer extended demo will be available separately for the upcoming Steam Nextfest.

The title has more to offer than just its AAA voice work. In-game, you’ll find yourself entrenched in the utter brutality of a labyrinthine city gone mad. Sleuth through the shadows of the world and lose yourself in every nook and cranny of this city – and the blood of its inhabitants. Taking the role of The Whisper (David Hayter), you’ll have to balance stealth and brutality to make your goals into reality. Assassinate your enemies and perform devastating finishers, or lurk in the shadows and slip between the cracks. Experience the narrative of the Steamdolls world, and delve into not only the story of this dying world but also the secrets found in its shadows. Hack into terminals and experience the memories of the past, and the ghosts that lurk in the remnants of the modern world.

Heihachi Mishima makes his return to TEKKEN 8 pushing the game’s roster to 35 characters. He is the third DLC of the Season Pass 1, joining Eddy and Lidia. The King of Iron Fist, seemingly dead at the end of TEKKEN 7 has managed to cheat death and is back with an evolved style, learned thanks to his time with the Tekken monks.

In addition to Heihachi, a new stage, the Genmaji temple is also available for individual purchase. But that’s not all, as the 1.08 version of the game comes with new free content. A new Story Mode, Unforgotten Echoes, has been added. Happening in parallel of TEKKEN 8 main story, it follows Eddy, Lidia and Heihachi and gives more details about how Heihachi managed to survive his fate in TEKKEN 7. In this mode, Eddy, Lidia and Heihachi are playable even for players who don’t own the characters.

New features have also appeared, such as the much-requested possibility to put any character in the TEKKEN 8 main menu, or the possibility to practice online with friends in the TEKKEN Fight Lounge. A new TEKKEN Fight Pass is also available, including the collaboration shoe with NIKE. The Gentle Monster sunglasses for Kazuya are also available to be claimed in game for a limited time.

Genoa, Italy – 4th October 2024: Established development house Untold Games today is pleased to reveal the Early Access Roadmap for the post-apocalyptic, survival sandbox City 20, which is now available in PC Early Access via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

New content updates will be added to the dystopian life sim in regular intervals, approximately every one-to-two months. Each update will bring with it a variety of new features, quests and fixes. Over the next few months, citizens of City 20 can expect to see enhancements to NPCs, making them smarter and more natural, improvements to faction security, making them better at hiding and securing items, and dangerous new radioactive areas. In Unknown 9: Awakening, players control Haroona, a young woman gifted with a unique connection to the Fold, a mysterious dimension overlapping our own. She will learn to channel its power into the world and embark on a journey across the world to protect this knowledge from falling into the wrong hands.

Unknown 9: Awakening will launch on 18 October 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

About BANKS

California-bred singer-songwriter, Jillian Rose Banks, aka BANKS, crafts moody, alternative pop with shades of contemporary R&B. Emerging in the early 2010s with a handful of downtempo, alt-R&B tracks, BANKS created a signature sound that helped build a cross-genre audience.
