The new game from Focus Entertainment and Douze Dixièmes is coming to PC and consoles

PARIS – June 18, 2024 – After their first game together, Shady Part of Me, a poetic and moving fable that won critical acclaim, Focus Entertainment and Douze Dixièmes are excited to renew their collaboration on MIO: Memories in Orbit, a new sci-fi odyssey that combines the metroidvania genre with a unique art direction. London, UK, June 18th, 2024 – Perp Games and Spikewave Games are proud to announce the release date of ‘Evotinction’ – a third person hack and stealth game featuring unique hacking mechanics including a variety of hacking skills, environment devices and gadgets.

Developed by the independent Chinese studio Spikewave Games – a team founded by former employees of the Chinese branch of 2K Games, Evotinction is set in the near future, and challenges the relationship between evolution and extinction.  As AI, gene editing and quantum entanglement technologies rapidly develop, its potential threat grows as well.   

A cutting-edge research facility has been taken over by virus infected AI drones which have wiped out the humans.  All connections to the outside have been cut off. There are no signs of human life left in the facility. Thomas Liu, the leader of the AI development department, stands alone in the facility, determined to stop the virus from spreading to the outside world and prevent ‘extinction by evolution’ for humanity.
