News from From Chillingo’s graveyard 😉
Vampire Origins is getting closer to hitting the App Store. With and we have some more exclusive screenshots & gameplay video below
Vampire Origins is a hot new 3D shooter, an isometric adventure title coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The game pits Dracula’s arch-rival Van Helsing against legions of underworld creatures. If you fancy Gothic adventures paired with intense fighting, Vampire Origins will boil the blood in your veins.
If you’ve ever played Diablo, you’ll feel right at home with Vampire Origins. A simple battle system ditches complex inventory and weaponry in favor of a point-and-click approach of attacking creatures by tapping them. It may sound boring on paper, but the fast-paced action balances things out. Fast, very agile enemies leave you little time to ponder your next move or marvel Gothic architecture. Although Vampire Origins is an adventure, with some puzzles and lots of exploration, action and killing enemies come before everything else.
We also have a link to the video gameplay here :

Check out Apple’s Keynote for the iPad. The Keynote below shows the following three games demoed. * NOTE This is not the full Apple iPad Keynote. It’s been cliped to only show the below games that were demoed.
SnoCross was shown as existing 3D games from the App Store running on the iPad, while both N.O.V.A. and Need for Speed have been TWEAKED big time to show some iPad-specific functionality utilizing the additional screen size available on the larger and higher resolution screen. If you’re familiar with NOVA it seems that Gameloft have added a map which appears at the bottom part of the screen on the iPad. It’s good to see that the software developers are working on making the games better on the iPad. BUT is that enough ???

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx will be the “largest” add-on to date, says Gearbox; will raise level cap, focus on introduction of new weaponry.
Gearbox has today have announced their next expansion, named : The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The expansion will focus on new weapons, presumably from the weapons locker of General Knox. Gearbox also mentioned that the add-on’s quests will be for players level 34-50. At this moment there is no release date or price for the new content.
These Two fantastic screen-shots indicated that General Knoxx is likely a commander of the Crimson Lance, the corporate that appeared in the later levels of Borderlands. The other screen-shot shows players driving a new type of six-wheeled off-road truck, battling what appear to be giant spiders in the desert. COOLNESS !!
