Mistwalker is bringing us one of the most interesting games to grace the Wii in a long time. From the looks of the trailer below it is sporting some of the best graphics on the Wii and as long as it stays as it shows, looks to be an amazing RPG in the works.
All we know so far about the story is that the game is set on the Ruri Islands, but beyond that we are only able to wait anxiously for more information, and hope for a western release. So far there is only a release date in Japan for some time this year.
From July 8 until July 11, Steam is going to be the host to a free-for-all and free to play multiplayer event for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter. Don’t have the game? Then you are in luck, the game will also be 50% off, which means it is only $10! Go buy it now!
Yeah, that is all I had to say. Still feel like reading? Check out the press release below. It is quite humorous! All press releases need to be like the one below.

SERIOUS SAM HD: SECOND ENCOUNTER MULTIPLAYER FREE-FOR-ALL IS FREE FOR ALL THIS WEEKEND ON STEAM
Gamers Get a Delicious Taste of Multiplayer Madness and 50% off Purchase
Zagreb, Croatia, July 8, 2010 – In an effort to spread the Gospel of Sam to those non-believers who still haven’t bathed in the redeeming light of high-definition, Croteam has decided to allow the few remaining heathens to partake in the visual delights of Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter’s over-the-top multiplayer modes. From July 8 through July 11, Steam users around the world will be able to play all the brilliant new modes of multiplayer fun with up to 16-players. New converts will be able to experience divine gameplay modes like Co-Op Survival, My Burden and Beast Hunt along with classic deathmatch and campaign co-op modes.
“This is total bullshit,” said Fork Parker, Chief Financial Officer at Devolver Digital. “How are we supposed to make any money by giving away our sweet multiplayer juice for free?”
Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter will also be discounted by 50% during the promotion. Seriously. Half off a game that already costs less than $20. That’s $10 sucka.
“Goddamnit,” replied Fork when asked for further comment.

Have you pre-ordered Halo: Reach yet? Of course you have, and you most likely pre-ordered from gamestop as well.
If you have pre-ordered from gamestop you will get two armor pieces, both of which are shown in the picture above. You will receive tokens for a Spartan Recon Helmet with Visor/Blast Shield and a UA Multi-Threat Mjolnir Mark V(B) Armor, which features a unique chestplate design and a grenade belt.
Of course it also includes $20 worth of store credit just like Walmart and Amazon.
2morrow will be a great day for BioWare fans. Just sayin’
Electronic Arts also posted a press release about Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, but saying that Dragon Age 2 was in development at BioWare, making us believe the game can be really close to it’s announcement.
Another important hint came from Game Informer’s Andy McNamara twitter (@GI_AndyMC):
Got the cover art in today for the next issue. Giant sequel not at E3, and the art…well, fantasy nuts are gonna crap themselves
Some big hints leaving us to think that it’s really a Dragon Age 2 announcement.
I hope you like your Dead Space, because XBLA will be receiving 2 different Dead Space XBLA games.
As you may know Visceral has already announced that the Wii version of Dead Space: Extraction is on its way to XBLA, as well as their resource management game Planet Cracker. They have now announced yet another game coming to XBLA, it’s called Dead Space Ignition.
“Dead Space Ignition is the first of many exciting game extensions we have planned for the launch of Dead Space 2,” states Steve Papoutsis (Executive Producer on Dead Space franchise.) “The interactive comic-style game will give Dead Space fans a unique perspective on the events leading up to Dead Space 2, but will also introduce the storyline to a brand-new audience of gamers.”
Dead Space: Ignition will task players with three computer hacking mini-games to beat. These mini-games are called Hardware Crack, Trace Route and System Override. Each offers different puzzles and twitch style gameplay. Branching paths will lead to different endings, up to four different ones.
The story is written by award-winning comic book, video game and graphic novel writer Antony Johnston. The game will introduce new characters and plot twists to the Dead Space universe, with Johnston’s horror-story expertise making each of the game’s four conclusions equally intriguing.
The game will unlock Exclusive in game content for Dead Space 2 when it ships in January 2011. One of the items will be a new suit for Isaac to use in Dead Space 2. Dead Space Ignition will release on XBLA in autumn 2010 perfect to increase the hype for Dead Space 2.

Recently the Ruffian Games developers of Crackdown 2 informed us of their release of a new DLC. We know two features that will be included in this DLC, which is a new palette of colors and two new stories. Many critics claimed that the color and feel of this game was too dull and lacked.. umph, for use of no better word. Although this has been said, the Ruffian Gamess have claimed that it was their intention to have this style of look to the game.
Currently in the character customization there are dull, “agency approved” colors you get by default. When the DLC comes out, you will be able to choose more a colorful and vibrant palette to satisfy your tastes and make your gaming experience less boring.
Also the DLC, the story is said to change with the downloadable add-ons. One of them is called “The Toy Box” and the other being called “Deluge”. They are both highly anticipated to be thoroughly entertaining, so stay tuned and we will keep you updated!
