Sengoku Dynasty Version 1.0 Launches on PC

Open world multi-genre game set in Feudal Japan Brings Japan’s tumultuous Past to Life with Single Player and Co-op Adventures

Oberhaching, Germany, November 8th 2024 –  Developer Superkami and publisher Toplitz Productions are excited to announce that their multi genre open-world village builder, life simulation and survival game Sengoku Dynasty Version 1.0 is now available on PC.

After just over a year in early access, and with several defining content updates under its belt, the immersive world of medieval Japan is brought to life in stunning detail. 

PC players can now embark on their own legacy in single player or with up to three of their friends in multiplayer in the co-op mode as they begin to create their own dynasty set in feudal Japan’s tumultuous past. 

With the release of version 1.0, Sengoku Dynasty introduces significant new features, including regions you can conquer to secure your rise to dominance. Face more dangerous bandits and their camps as you fight for control – now also in FPP. Players also have the option to skip the battles and focus on unlocking new regions through peaceful means and securing access to rare resources to unlock unique technologies, propelling their dynasty forward. This system offers deeper immersion into feudal Japan’s constant territorial struggles, providing players with dynamic regional control. While combat and conquest enhance progression.

A character editor and playable female character also round out the new customization content now available for players. 

Combining its rich blend of survival, crafting and exploration, PC players will need to set about transforming a famine-stricken and war-torn land and building a settlement where its inhabitants can thrive. Resources such as bamboo, wood, ore and stone will be key materials in construction. Not only that, but these resources will also provide the raw materials to develop the farming tools and weapons they need such as bows and even katanas, essential for protecting their communities from the bandits that roam the countryside.

Sengoku Dynasty has been a labor of love for Superkami which has maintained a priority to ensure a realistic and faithful representation of the historical context of 16th century Japan from traditional craftsmanship, weapons and fabrics, to buildings, architecture and customs through extensive development research.

Players will have the opportunity to undertake the foundation of traditional subsistence and resource-based economies, all of which are integral to Sengoku Dynasty’s many tasks of village management. Aspects such as mining, smithing, hunting and farming are at the core of a stable and self proficient community.

Sengoku Dynasty’s major content updates have been transformative in enhancing the gameplay experience during early access, refining player progression, improving AI, daily village production and consumption balancing, expanding farming options as well as introducing an intuitive combat system.

New Trailer Reveals First Gameplay of Raven

Azarath Metrion Zinthos! Warner Bros. Games has announced that MultiVersus will be adding DC’s Raven and Adventure Time’s Marceline to its growing roster of characters as part of Season 4: Midnight Misfits, which will take place from Nov. 13, 2024, through Jan. 21, 2025. DC Super Hero Raven,the powerful Daughter of Darkness and founding member of the (new) Teen Titans,will be available at the start of the season on Nov. 13. Marceline, the fun-loving 1,000-year-old vampire queen from the Adventure Time animated series, will arrive later in the season.

Daughter of DC Super-Villain Trigon, Raven possesses a half-demon, supernatural lineage that grants her incredible magical abilities, including telekinesis, flight, projection of her Soul-Self, and control over darkness itself, making her a formidable opponent for anyone in her way.

In the new trailer, Raven’s fighting skills as a Mage class character are on full display as she’s able to use dark magic and telekinetic skills to pummel enemies, while her pet bird Lenore can assist in battle and extend combos. Additionally, MultiVersus Season 4 will add Arena, a new mode allowing eight teams of two players to go head-to-head in round-based competitive matches to earn in-game rewards, along with the Back to the Past map, inspired by the Samurai Jack animated series, on Nov. 13, and the Candy Tavern map, based on the iconic locale from the Adventure Time series, later in the season.

NETMARBLE REPORTS THIRD QUARTER 2024 FINANCIAL EARNINGS

LOS ANGELES – NOVEMBER 7, 2024 – Netmarble Corp, renowned mobile game developer and publisher, has announced its financial earnings for the third quarter of 2024. The company recorded $478.60 million in revenue and $75.99 million in EBITDA globally, with an operating profit of $48.43 million and a net profit of $15.22 million this quarter.

“Netmarble has slowed down in its growth, including revenue and operating income, in the third quarter due to the absence of major new releases,” said Young-sig Kwon, CEO of Netmarble. “We are expecting an increase in momentum as we launch King Arthur: Legends Rise by the end of this year, with nine new titles, including highly anticipated games like The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, to be released in 2025. Netmarble’s Q3 and accumulated 2024 financial results include:

  • Cumulatively for 2024, Netmarble earned $1.49 billion in sales and $219.26 million in EBITDA, reporting an operating profit of $133.38 million and a net profit of $127.91 million.
  • North America led revenues (43%) with diversification across other key territories as follows: Korea (23%), Europe (13%), Southeast Asia (8%), and Japan (7%), and other regions (6%).
  • Netmarble’s portfolio showed diversification across various genres, including Casual Games (39%), RPG (38%), MMORPG (15%), and other genres (8%).
  • Top performing titles for the third quarter included: Solo Leveling: ARISE (13%), Marvel Contest of Champions (8%), Jackpot World (8%), Lotsa Slots (7%), Cash Frenzy (7%), Raven2(6%), The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross (4%), and Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions (3%).
