HANGZHOU, China – 8 May 2026 –Dread Neighbor, the first-person psychological horror game and sequel to Dread Flats from indie studio ghostcase, conjures a malicious, unseen force onto PC via Steam today.
Step into the unsettling reality of a young woman living alone in a dilapidated apartment building. Manage the sickening feeling of constantly being watched from every corner of the room in an intense, heart-pounding adventure inspired by modern Chinese horror media.
An unnerving aura pervades every moment of existence, as expected, everyday surroundings slowly warp into an unfamiliar scene. Experience a dread-inducing progressive loop system that corrupts any semblance of safety and realism in a creepy, atmospheric environment.
Escape a relentless assailant in thrilling chase scenes while attempting to unravel a chilling narrative from multiple victims’ perspectives. Uncover what really lies beneath the fear by piecing together a series of eerie events to reach three unexpected conclusions, including the true ending.
“For this project, we really honed in on the suffocating feelings of fear and paranoia to craft an immersive horror experience,” said developer ghostcase. “Players will need to keep their composure while navigating familiar environments gradually (and sometimes jarringly) distorting into something much more sinister.”
Dread Neighbor is available now on Windows PC via Steam for $5.99/€6.15/¥790, with English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian, Japanese, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Portuguese (Portugal) language support.

Discover what mythical spirit haunts the Whiteroot Hotel in a new narrative mystery from Daedalic Entertainment and One-O-One Games.
Hamburg, Germany / Rome, Italy – May 7th – One-O-One Games and Daedalic Entertainment today announceCurse of the Crimson Stag, a new folk-horror adventure for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S.
Revealed today with a teaser trailer as part of Nacon Connect, Curse of the Crimson Stag is a story-driven mystery thriller, where players explore the abandoned Whiteroot Hotel and the blurred reality between deadly conspiracies and the supernatural.
Players of Curse of the Crimson Stag should expect a narrative adventure rich with exploration, puzzle-solving, and investigation, set within a thick folk-horror atmosphere and driven by a mysterious narrative.
The haunting halls of the Whiteroot Hotel and its unsettling surroundings invite exploration while a mature story blending mystery and horror slowly unfolds. Relatable, yet flawed characters become entangled in a web of schemes and lies as tension rises, heightened further by immersive binaural audio that deepens the game’s oppressive atmosphere.
Feeling stuck in her backwater hometown, a teenager named Brit jumps at the chance for a life-changing adventure: to assist in the making of a documentary about the derelict Whiteroot Hotel. The once luxurious hotel stands abandoned in the American Northwest, with local folklore spinning tales of ghostly hauntings and of angry spirits being the reason for its desertion.
Once built by a wealthy businessman hoping to bring tourism to the area, Whiteroot Hotel ended up being the stage for a series of mysterious deaths and the complete downfall of its owners. Abandoned and left to rot, its walls have held the secrets of its past for 18 years.
The people of the area, with a strong connection to local myth and folklore, tell of an entity known as the Crimson Stag – a protective spirit of sorts – which supposedly inhabits the dark woods of the area. Whether it’s local superstition or not: Everything about this seems like a perfect setup for a documentary and a chance for Brit to be discovered.
Once Brit starts her exploration of the hotel, as instructed by professional ghost hunter Emily, it quickly becomes clear that she is in over her head. The Whiteroot Hotel does not surrender its secrets easily and, whether it is supernatural forces or dark machinations, the Curse of the Crimson Stag soon threatens to claim her as well.

The company reported $444.97 million in revenue and $57.29 million in EBITDA, globally. The operating profit and the net profit were reported at $36.22 million and $144.02 million, respectively.
“While the timing of major new releases late in the first quarter resulted in a limited revenue contribution, Netmarble’s business fundamentals remained firm, delivering year-over-year growth in both revenue and operating profit,” said Byung-gyu Kim, CEO of Netmarble. “Driven by a diversified portfolio with 79% of total revenue generated in global markets, we expect accelerated top-line growth and margin expansion starting in the second quarter as the performance of new titles is fully reflected.” He added, “With a robust pipeline of anticipated titles across diverse genres and global IPs, we will focus on delivering competitive games and securing sustainable growth worldwide.”
Upcoming releases for the second quarter of 2026 include the expansion of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad in Asia, following its initial Western launch in May last year, as well as the upcoming launch of SOL: enchant in Korea. Netmarble’s Q1 2026 financial results include:
By region, North America led revenues (41%), followed by Korea (21%), Europe (13%), Southeast Asia (12%), Japan (7%), and other regions (6%).

LOS ANGELES – MAY 7, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new update for its action game Solo Leveling: ARISE, bringing a new hunter and a range of gameplay enhancements.
This update welcomes Antoine Martinez, a Light Elemental Stacker, to the roster of playable hunters. He specializes in axe-based combat, highlighted by his Ultimate Skill “The Angel’s Stay,” which empowers his weapon before he strikes the ground to unleash outward shockwaves. Additionally, excluding basic attacks, the final hit of his skills triggers the Wisdom effect and restores HP for allies, making him highly effective in both offensive and defensive roles.
Alongside the new hunter, the update delivers a broad set of content expansions and system upgrades aimed at improving the overall gameplay experience.
The main story has been refined to remove repetition in stages throughout chapters 3 to 20. Special Stages have also been added to select chapters in Normal difficulty, where players face unique boss encounters under restricted combat conditions.
Story content continues to expand with the addition of chapters 32 through 34 in both Normal and Reverse modes. In addition, a new Job Change for Sung Jinwoo, “Monarch of Shadows: Exterminator,” further enhances his combat potential and increases his maximum level cap from 140 to 150.
Several system enhancements have been applied as well. The entry currency for the Gates, Unstable Dungeon, Battlefield of Chaos, and the Hunter Archive game modes have been unified to a single Dungeon Entry Key for improved convenience. Plus, a new dungeon called the “Mind Rift” is also now available.
New gameplay systems have been introduced, including Monarch Milestones and the Successor system. The Successor system enables players to receive combat support from Successors who have inherited the powers of the Monarchs. As part of this update, players can encounter the first of these characters, the Successor of the White Flames Myro.
Solo Leveling: ARISE is an action game adaptation of the hit webtoon, Solo Leveling. Taking on the role of Jinwoo, players can experience his journey through the beloved webtoon tale firsthand, leveling up, taking on dynamic battles, and creating their own combat styles by selecting various combinations of skills and weapons. Not only can players team up with hunters from the webtoon, they can summon their own “Army of Shadows” with the iconic phrase: “Arise.”
