Global game publisher GRYPHLINE has released an extended look at Arknights: Endfield, its upcoming real-time 3D RPG with strategic gameplay elements, via a new gameplay trailer. The trailer follows the recent announcement of the game’s beta test, which is currently open for sign-ups and will see a simultaneous global launch in mid-January 2025. GRYPHLINE previously shared a concept trailer alongside the initial beta test announcement but has now given players and fans an even deeper look at the world and gameplay of Arknights: Endfieldacross more than 15 minutes of never-before-seen footage. In the beta, players will have the chance to explore the world of Talos-II as the Endministrator and experience exclusive content.

New Playable Characters:

Characters featured in the previous test have undergone significant updates, including new models, animations, and special effects. In the upcoming beta test, players will have access to 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators (one of which is a new playable Endministrator) and 13 playable characters, with six new characters introduced in the test phase. This beta will also provide a preview of a limited portion of the game’s monetization system.

Combat and Character Progression:

Based on player feedback from the previous test, some adjustments have been made to various systems, including combat mechanics, skill effects, and character progression: 

• New “Combo Skills”: Under specific conditions, characters can trigger powerful combo attacks between them.
• New “Dodge” Mechanic: Added instant combat elements like dodging to enhance gameplay.
• Adjustments to Skill Effects and Release Logic: Skills, their effects, and how they are executed in combat have been refined.
• Changes to Item Usage: The use of consumable items like potions during battles has been updated.
• Expanded Character Progression: Character development now offers more depth and variety, allowing for a richer progression experience.

Base Building System:

The beta test introduces new tutorials and advanced gameplay mechanics to further enrich the player experience: 

• Base Building Tutorials: Various guides have been added to help players master the base construction system.
• New Defensive Structures: Tower defense-style buildings have been introduced, supporting both offensive and defensive operations.
• Expanded Construction Areas: Unlike the previous test, where factories could only be built in the central Hub Area, other maps now feature outposts where players can establish and expand their factories.

Story, Scenes, and Levels:

Several updates have been made to the game’s storyline and environments to offer a more immersive experience:

• Reworked Main Storyline: The main quest line has been expanded and enriched for a more captivating narrative.
• New Maps: Nine maps will be available in the beta.
• New Puzzle and Dungeon Content: Fresh puzzle mechanics and dungeons have been added to increase gameplay variety.

Gaijin Entertainment announces the release of the “Storm Warning” major content update for the military online shooter War Thunder. The game now features the Thai air force subtree, top-of-the-line 4.5-generation fighters Typhoon and Rafale (“gust of wind”), the modern German self-propelled gun Panzerhaubitze 2000, the French light cruiser La Galissonnière, dozens of other military vehicles, as well as a new map “Attica”, inspired by the landscapes of Greece.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a modern 4.5-generation fighter, which was created jointly by Germany, UK and Italy, and is currently also in service with Austria, Spain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. It can carry up to 10 air-to-air missiles, including the AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-120 AMRAAM. This arsenal, supplemented by a helmet-mounted targeting system and an advanced CAPTOR radar, make the Eurofighter one of the best aircraft in the game for both close and long-range air combat.

Rafale is the most modern French-produced fighter jet in the game. The Rafale F3-R version that debuts in War Thunder was accepted into service in 2018. In addition to the French Air Force, it is also used by Greece and Croatia. The aircraft is especially effective in long-range combat thanks to its MICA-EM ARH missiles. The shells of its 155 mm L52 gun, about 8 meters long, can hit targets at distances of tens of kilometers, and the reload speed can get as low as 6 seconds with a good crew. Despite its weight of almost 58 tons, the Panzerhaubitze 2000 is capable of reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h on a good road, thanks to which it can quickly change position.

Leamington Spa, UK – Dec 17, 2024 – UK games publisher Kwalee and independent game studio Inzanity, today announced a new update for the roguelite rhythm shooter ROBOBEAT. The new update includes a new Infinite Locker feature, which allows players to save one weapon and one utility in lockers located at specific points in the game. These saved items will always appear in the HUB at the start, stored in a separate side box.

The update also introduces a new weapon called Nexus. This weapon allows players to throw out beacons using CHARGE. Shooting then creates shots that target those beacon locations. Community items are also added, including 6 Badges, 5 Trading Cards, 5 Emoticon, 4 Steam Profile Backgrounds and 2 Animated Steam Profile Backgrounds. 

The update is available now and ROBOBEAT will be available at 30 percent discount during the Steam Winter Sale

GIANTS Software has just released Farming Simulator 25 to widespread acclaim and success and is already gearing up for its next community event to celebrate: The publisher and developer of the family-friendly series announces FarmCon 25 to be held the weekend of July 5-6, 2025. Meeting the Devs at Lindner in Austria

The annual event for fans, modders, and influencers to meet the team and creative minds behind Farming Simulator takes place at the Innovation Center of the renowned agricultural manufacturer and long-time partner Lindner in Kundl, Austria.

Stage Presentations, Factory Tours & Tractor Driving

GIANTS Software and Lindner will offer a variety of activities on and off the stage. Visitors can also take factory tours and, if they’re quick enough, get a ride on Lindner’s iconic red tractors on the test track. Meanwhile, many fans catch up with old and new friends or meet some of their favorite influencers.
