Dragon Quest X Elves Screenshots

Square Enix have released new screenshots of the Elves race from the upcoming Dragon Quest X MMORPG for the Nintendo Wii and Wii U. Elves are a highly respectful race that are more in touch with nature than any other race in Dragon Quest X.

The Elves are one of 5 races playable in the game along with Ogres, Puklipo, Weddies and Dwarves. The player begins as a human but through some unfortunate circumstances finds themselves irreversibly changed into one of the 5 races.

You can check out the Elves screenshots below. Be sure to let us know what you think in the shoutbox and comments section.

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Video

It was recently confirmed that Mass Effect 3 would feature multiplayer, to which the interenet responded with mass rejection and disapproval. BioWare however believe you should reconsider your stand-point, because well they think it’s good.

Now while multiplayer is the furthest thing from most Mass Effect players wishlists for the franchise, BioWare believe a co-op option is the next step for the series. They have released a new video from their web show “BioWare Pulse” focusing on the multiplayer side of Mass Effect 3, through which they hope to change your mind.

BioWare reveal through this latest episode of “BioWare Pulse” that up to 4 players can play alongside one another and select various races from the series’ universe. You can check out the video below.

Balloon Fight GB coming to Japan’s eShop…

Earlier this year, Nintendo Ambassadors were treated to 10 original Nintendo titles for early adoption of the handheld, with one of those being Balloon Fight. Those who can’t get enough of the classic will be happy to know that Balloon Fight GB, the remake of “Balloon Kid” (which was only released for the Game Boy in North America and Europe), is now ready to grace the Japanese eShop on October 19th.

This title marks the third Game Boy Color title on the service and as of now, it only seems to be destined for a Japanese release. We did see Twinbee hit the US’ eShop though and that never originally released outside Japan, so we very well could see this little gem grace the Virtual Console sometime down the road.

Sentai licenses Akikan! Anime

Sentai Filmworks just can’t stop licensing things. In the past few months they have licensed just about every anime they could their hands on and now they have gotten their hands on the Akikan! anime.

Akikan! marks an all time wierd for titles licensed by Sentai, with Akikan! telling the story of a girl who is in fact a soft-drink can. Yes that’s right she is a can of soft-drink, somehow. As you might have guessed this series is incredibly wierd, but that’s not the half of it. The series main story is about the these soft-drink can girls battling to decide once and for all what is better, steel or alluminium.

What do you think of this odd new series licensed by Sentai Filmworks? What’s better steel or alluminium? Let us know in the shoutbox or comments section.

Square-Enix Release fully animated trailer for Rocket Slime 3!

Ahoy mateys! Ready to come aboard a pirate ship and take to the lands unknown with the many monsters and slimes within the Dragon Quest universe? Square-Enix have just released a brand new trailer for Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime 3 that displays just that. This isn’t your run of the mill game teaser either, as this clip is fully animated and gives us a look at the gameplay and the many characters players will encounter.

I am crossing my fingers and praying that this title sees a western release, as Rocket Slime for the DS is still one of my favorite spin-offs from the series to date. That is still unknown though at the moment, but while we wait for an announcement, you can feast your eyes upon this new trailer and those with Japanese 3DS’ can prepare themselves as Rocket Slime lands in the region on November 2nd.
