Music and Motion Capture in Uprising44: The Silent Shadows

DMD Enterprise has released exciting new details about the music and  that will accompany Uprising44: The Silent Shadows.

Marcin Przybyłowicz, a Polish composer known for working on games such as Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, is one of the main composers for Uprising44. He composed the main menu theme for the game, rehearsals have been released by DMD.

The soundtrack for the game is being toted as dynamic and well-matched to the action, and if the two pieces that we’ve already heard are anything to go by, players won’t be disappointed. Marcin’s range of inspirations, from jazz and soul music to Hans Zimmer film scores, will give the game further depth.

If this news wasn’t exciting enough, DMD have also released a ‘making of’ video detailing the  motion capture being used to enhance Uprising44’s gameplay. The twenty-or-so cut-scenes included in the game will be filmed using professional actors and the motion capture technique.

Final Four Revealed for Street Fighter X Tekken

Are you ready to know the final four? Good. Capcom have finally revealed the last characters for Street Fighter X Tekken, and for the most part…they’re about what we expected. On the Street Fighter side is none other than M. Bison and Akuma. Namco are also bringing the punch as well though, with the likes of Jin and Ogre being the final two combatants from Tekken.

This brings the roster now up to 38, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with that number. You can check out two new trailers for today’s reveals down below, as well as a few screenshots. Now that the final roster is finally out, what do YOU think?

Street Fighter X Tekken PC Version Confirmed

As if the hype wasn’t big enough, Capcom have announced more news for the heavily anticipated Street Fighter X Tekken. On March 10th, a PC version will hit store shelves everywhere. Other than the release date and a few new shiny screens (that you can view below), nothing else was said about exclusives in this version, so rosters, mechanics, and so on should be the same as the standard console release.

Hopefully this version will be friendly on DRM as we all know too well about Super Street Fighter IV’s problems of the past, but for now I would think all should go smoothly as Capcom seem to learn from their mistakes pretty well.

Syndicate Launch Trailer Featuring Music by NERO

Hey Syndicate followers, here’s something that you’ll have been looking forward to seeing for a little while now. That something? The Syndicate launch trailer.

Yes that’s right, Syndicate’s launch is just around the corner and as such, a trailer for it’s launch has been released. This trailer features an amazing remix of the theme by NERO, which I advise everyone download from the Facebook page as soon as they can, it sounds AMAZING!

For those who don’t know Syndicate is the cyber-punk shooter re-imagining of the DOS game by the same name. In Syndicate, faceless agents are controlled by giant mega-corporations who all vie for power over the free-market and as such, are sent on secret missions of espionage and other affairs.

Be sure to check out the trailer, embedded below. Also, be sure to check out the Facebook page and look for their selection of Syndicate MP3s to download.
