Dragon Ball Z for Kinect gameplay trailers released

You have to admit, nearly everyone who has ever seen the Dragon Ball Z anime series has tried to use a Kamehameha or if not that, at least a few other attacks from the show itself. Now with Dragon Ball Z for Kinect you will actually be able to do those things as you battle against many different opponents.

Today Namco Bandai released two trailers which can be seen below which show off how the game will be played as well as how to use the game’s QR code scanning system. The game itself will feature over a hundred different attack moves such as Goku’s Kamehameha, Piccolo’s Special Beam Cannon and more. Currently Namco Bandai is aiming for an October release for Dragon ball Z for Kinect exclusively on the Xbox 360.

Gravity Rush Military Kat pre-order bonus revealed

You may remember hearing about Gravity Rush’s DLC in Japan a few weeks ago, such as the above military costume for Kat. Fans of the game were probably expecting these costumes to also be released in North America as DLC as well, but it seems that, at least fans of the military costume, won’t have to pay anything extra for the outfit.

Instead, fans who pre-order the game from either GameStop or Amazon will receive the military costume for Kat plus four missions free of charge. These missions will involve Commander Yuri and add a few extra race challenges to the main game when it is released on June 12th in North America.

Halo 4 set for release on November 6

Microsoft and 343 Studios have revealed what date Master Chief will enter the fray again. Early today Microsoft released a press release stating that Halo 4 will be released on November 6, 2012 exclusively on the Xbox 360 of course.

Don’t exit out quite yet however, as there is more news on the way. In fact, there is going to be plenty of interesting news later tonight when the Conan O’Brien show starts because Microsoft will be revealing a special segment on his show tonight. Not much was revealed about this segment as Microsoft is only stating that it is a “special segment” but one can guess it will contain new, never before seen footage.

“Waren Story” Begins Closed Beta

Aeria Games is gearing up for the beta for it’s next free-to-play game, Waren Story.  Waren Story will be a 3D MMORPG that lets players explore the continent of Waren, as a dark force threatens to consume it.  Players can choose from 4 classes; Warrior, Gunner, Archer, or Brawler and each of the classes unique skills.  But monsters aren’t the the only things to fight as the game features PvP for players to test themselves against others in a variety of modes.

Waren Story also will work to alleviate the daily grind that other MMORPG’s suffer by having each battle be as a new experience when against other players.  Anyone interested in checking this game out can sign up for registration to try and get into the closed beta HERE.

“Forge of Empires” Starts Open Beta

At the March, Forge of Empires was just entering a closed beta, but the response has been so great that InnoGames has opened the beta to everyone starting today.  Currently, the open beta is only in English, but the German beta is coming the 19th, with French, Dutch, and Polish to also be available thereafter.  100,000 players had already pre-registered for the start of the open beta prior to today, so we’ll see how many more will join in.

Forge of Empires itself is a strategy game for the browser where players build cities in the Stone Age and progress it through time to build technologies, trade, and military prowess.  The game features an extensive single player campaign, but also features more and more PvP elements.  If you’re interested in the English beta be sure to check it out and register today HERE.

Time to get retro, as Elite systems, a leading UK developer working primarily on mobile and portable media have announced the release of the Apps ( Sinclair ZX Spectrum 100 Greatest Hits) for the weekend of the 20th of April. The release conincides with the 30th Anniversary of one of the most influential and ground breaking computer systems introduced onto the market, the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, which “some credit it as the machine which launched the UK IT industry. Licensing deals and clones followed, and earned Clive Sinclair a knighthood for “services to British industry”. Elites MD Steve Wilcox commented “The Apps provide the opportunity to build a collection, of the most popular SINCLAIR ZX SPECTRUM games from the 80s and 90s, in two great ways.

– Those who download the 100 Greatest Hits Pack for 5.99 (UK) for Iphone and 8.99 (UK) for Ipad  will receive a copy of the classic Bruce Lee as well as another 100 ZX Spectrum games for free equivalent to 25 bonus 4 games packs.

R.A.W. Realms of Ancient War – Warrior Video Released

Is coming soon from Focus Home Interactive. The game is a hack-and-slash styled game being developed by Wizarbox for the Xbox360, Playstation 3 and PC. This video on the Warrior class showcases some gameplay featuring the Warrior.

To quote the developers/publisher –

In the video of today, watch all the rage of the warrior freely expressed! Courageous, hot-headed and expert in close combat, the Warrior thrives at the very heart of the battle. Swinging his dual blades with power and speed, his powerful melee attacks are devastating, sometimes allowing him to strike down dozens of enemies at once! And when his health goes bad, bloody rage embraces him and make him even more powerful, more resilient, enabling him to cause even more damage… there is nothing more dangerous than a wounded animal! Plunge now in battle through one minute of action-packed video, focusing exclusively on the Warrior and his devastating attacks! Watch him battle, relentlessly, the hordes of creatures and the huge bosses trying to stop him!

The video is a pretty fun watch and reminds one of other hack-and-slash styled games, like Diablo or Torchlight. So players who know titles like these will probably feel right at home with R.A.W. From the look of things, the Warrior class is mostly a melee type class with some short range moves for enemies slightly out of your swinging range. This could be a fun class to play if you like having enemies right on top of you.

Be sure to check out the trailer, embedded below, and the official website for more info.
