Whenever someone sees a mysterious item up for sale or as a reward, there is always that thrill of purchasing said item and seeing exactly what you will receive. Like a grab bag of sorts. However there are only so many times that you can pick up a mystery item and then receive junk in return.

However Club Nintendo isn’t going to let that disappointment get you down, because today they are offering “Surprise Me Boxes” for 300 coins each. Nintendo claims that these mystery boxes contain at least 500 coins in rewards, but then again you still don’t know what you will actually receive… Either way, the award can be purchased here. Anyone brave enough to pick one of these up and share what they received?

Max Payne 3 arrives on Xbox 360 with two discs

Before everyone gets up in arms about the fact that they may have to stand up off the couch and change discs, lets settle down and acknowledge that this is a good thing. Rockstar Games has revealed on their Twitter that the game will be arriving on two discs for the Xbox 360 with the following tweet.

“One disc will house half of the single-player campaign, while the other hosts the second half alongside the multiplayer.” This is a great piece of news because that means that not only will Max Payne 3 not be downgraded visually for the Xbox 360 version of the game but it will also be packed with content. So let all that anger dissipate unless you are a PS3 and PC gamer, then go ahead and gloat.

Game of Thrones New Battle Screenshots

Cyanide Studio and Focus Home Interactive have released new screenshots of the combat and battles for the Game of Thrones RPG.  The game looks to be shaping up quite nicely, so hopefully it will be a great addition the the HBO television series and George R. R. Martin book series.

The game is set up as a parallel story, so that players can explore the world from a new angle without stepping on the toes of the original.  That doesn’t mean the other characters don’t show up, oh no, the player characters will meet and interact with them in a way that fits well within both stories.  Be sure to check out the gallery below to get a better look at the images.
