If you have picked up Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and have already played through all of the songs available in the game, then perhaps you will be interested in expanding your song library a bit. Today Square Enix revealed their upcoming release schedule for downloadable music tracks which will cost $0.99 a piece.
As any veteran Hitman player knows, there are many ways to finish your tasks in any Hitman mission, you could be stealthy and take your your enemy close-up, rig an accident or even go in guns blazing. That is only a small sample of your choices, but now you can watch at least two different ways to complete the “Streets of Hope” mission that was shown off at E3 this year.
In the trailer we have commentary by game director Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour from the community team. As you can see in the video, there are a number of brutal ways you can take out your targets, including the game’s point shooting mechanic. You may want to get comfortable however, as the video is seventeen minutes long.
Some of you may remember a game called Fortnite which was given only a simple teaser last year. Well it turns out that that game will actually be the first game to ever use Epic’s Unreal Engine 4. During their San Diego Comic-Con panel, the company also stated that the title will be available only on the PC because the “Next-gen is here — it’s a high-end PC!” according to Cliff Bleszinski.
Cliff went on to state that “This game has a great style, and it deserves to be the first game to come out for Unreal Engine 4.” Though the title will still have a bit of a cartoonish look, it will feature all of UE4’s new tricks. Currently there is no release window for Fortnite, but we can likely expect one soon.
Curious about what Atlus’ Persona 4: Arena will have for an opening video? Well today that video became available in all its animated glory about a month before the game’s actual release. The opening can be seen below and those with curious minds will be interested in knowing that Madhouse is responsible for the animation.
As for the opening itself and the fact that it already has an English song, the only changes that will likely be made when the game is released in North America on August 7th is that the title will be changed to simply say Persona 4: Arena rather than The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena.
I have a feeling that when most of you read that title, you were hoping for some major reveal or gameplay elements to be exposed for Rockstar Games’ upcoming GTA V. However if anything can be derived from these images, it is the fact that players can still fly helicopters and also venture near what looks like a pier on a lake or ocean.
Still, it is good to see some new images for what fans are anticipating will be the best Grand Theft Auto ever. Perhaps the next time the company chooses to release some images of the game we’ll see some more interesting images.
League of Legends teases its summoners by releases an art preview of the upcoming champion – Zyra, Rise of the Thorns. Those more accustomed to DC Comic’s “Poison Ivy” will learn to appreciate this beautiful mother of nature.
Mmhmm… What? Sorry, I was just paying close attention to stay away from her deadly thorns. Zyra garners her powers from the Plagued Lands where more than just wild ferns grow. Once unleashed upon the Fields of Justice, she will be able to summon her precious gifts to the field to not only distract but also to shred enemies to pieces. This pretty flower bites back!

After being released back at the beginning of May, Dark Scavenger the mostly silly, sort of awesome hybrid between point and click adventure and RPG has been released today on Desura. From developer Psydra Games, Dark Scavenger is the tale of a human lost in space who embarks on the less than noble quest of getting fuel for a space ship.
Featuring a plethora of items, the vast majority able to be turned into the players choice of one of three different usable items by the human’s shipmates. Dark Scavenger had plenty to do and offers quite a bit in terms of replayability, especially with a new game plus mode, so players can get every single usable item possible.
Players can check out our own review of Dark ScavengerHERE and can download the game from Desura for $4.99 HERE, as well as lots of other direct to download sites.
Publishers Focus Home Interactive and Chilingo, with developer Dancing Dots, have announced they have brought the anticipated Knights of the Round Cable to the iOS App Store for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. After showing the game off at E3, the game generated a lot of buzz for its simplistic and intuitive one-touch control scheme.
Featuring a knight set out to save the princess, while collecting gems along the way, Knights of the Round Cable utilizes a hook and anchor system for the knight’s locomotion. Swinging from point to point while avoiding enemies, players can get power-ups to ease gameplay a bit and collect all the gems around the level to try and get a highscore.
Players can download Knights of the Round Cable today from the iOS App Store HERE, but the game is also headed for release on EA’s Origin quote “very soon”, so those preferring PC gaming or lacking an iOS device can download it then.
