Get it? Scratch because he is a cat? Well either way, Tecmo Koei has decided that they would take one of their biggest liberties with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms by introducing a feline general in the form of Nobunyaga which is also Nobunaga Oda… a character who would normally only be in Samurai Warriors.
So not only is this a cat-morph but it is also a cross-over. He will be given away to those who pre-order Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires in Japan, while anyone who buys an copy of the game when it is released will at least get some of Nobunyaga’s costume pieces. Currently Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires is set to be released only in Japan on September 20th as a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
Although Dragon’s Dogma received a very positive review from yours truly, and although I never found the game difficult by any means, apparently the title is difficult for a large number of gamers. If you happen to be one of these gamers who is unable to progress further in the game then Capcom is about to throw you a bone.
A patch for the Japanese version of Dragon’s Dogma will be released August 6th and with this patch an Easy mode will be implemented. This Easy mode will allow players to switch difficulties via the option menu whenever they want. Currently this patch has no release date for Western versions of the game, though one can expect such a patch soon.
The second episode of the episodic prequel series to the upcoming Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, Carrier Command: Recruits, is out now. In this episode players take the role of a Technical Analyst and have to recover some missing data off a downed drone.
The first episode of this series was released last week and the minigame series is set to continue for another two more episodes, meaning that this spans an entire four episodes before the launch of the Full Game. Players will also be able to share their progress on Facebook to be in the running for 1 of 5 copies of the full game when it is launched.

As a small promotion for The Walking Dead season 3, AMC dressed several people up as Zombies to roam New York City to see if the dead can live among us.
Suffice to say that many screams were heard that day, especially with the news of people going crazy from bath salts and seemingly performing zombie-like actions, such as eating another person’s face off. The dead were seen shuffling through the sidewalks of New York, performing day to day actions from their jobs of driving a cab, to eating a famed New York hotdog.
Some people reacted as any social media savvy person would do – whip out their cameras and take photos. Granted, if a real zombie apocalypse happened, many of these zombies would probably not be ignoring the myriad of fresh flesh, but would people stop and oogle at the fantastic special effects? Or would they be genre savvy and take it as the beginnings of the zombie invasion?
