Jet Set Radio HD grinds into view in September

After carrying around a Summer 2012 release window nearly the entire way through the summer season, Sega has finally given more specific release dates for Jet Set Radio HD. We say dates considering the fact that each version of the game will have pretty much a different release date.

Those who are members of the PlayStation Plus crowd will get the game first on the PS3 on September 11th while everyone else on the PS3 will have to wait until September 18th to pick up the title. PC and 360 gamers will have to wait a day longer to get the title on September 19th, though the Vita version of the game has actually fallen into the “Fall” release window with a date of October 16th. All versions of the game so far will cost $9.99 or 800 MSP once they are released.

First promo shown for new Hayate the Combat Butler anime

If you happen to visit the official web page for Hayate The Combat Butler’s new anime project then you will see that the series has been given its very first promotional video, or for those a bit lazy they can check out the promo video below.

Now before fans of the series start to pick apart the various inconsistencies with the anime promo and the current manga series, it is worth noting that Hayate the Combat Butler: Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, as the series is called, is an original story that does not directly base itself off of the storyline currently occuring in the manga, although Kenjirou Hata, the manga’s creator, did create the concepts for the anime itself.

From what we’ve been shown in the below promo, it appears that the storyline will take place while Nagi still possesses her mansion and all of her riches, however it apparently will introduce Ruka Suirenji, an idol songstress, much earlier in the story.

Need for Speed Most Wanted Multiplayer Teaser Trailer

EA have just released the latest Need for Speed Most Wanted Multiplayer trailer.  As the trailer is just a teaser (full trailer will be released on the 14th of August) there isn’t much to go on but will certainly get your motor running if you’re a Need for Speed fan that also enjoys competitive on-line racing.  What will make Need For Speed Most Wanted multiplayer successful?  Should customization come back as it was with NFS Underground or should Most Wanted be all about good old fashioned high octane racing without the hassle of customization?

Which would you prefer?  Check out the trailer below and let us know what you would like to see in Need For Speed Most Wanted Multiplayer.

Assassin’s Creed III PC will release on November 23

Many of us already know that the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of UBISOFT’s Assassin’s Creed III is set to release on October 23rd.  But those of you who don’t have consoles but prefer to game on your PC, UBISOFT has just confirmed that the wait to get your hands on Assassin’s Creed III will only be  one short month after the official release of the console version which will be November 23rd.  This is great news for all PC gamers out there as normally the wait for a PC port of big named games is much longer but it seems UBISOFT is doing their best to bridge the gap between console and PC gaming as best they can.

Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2013 Announced

The latest adventure in the Dangerous Hunts series has only just been announced very recently. The game will feature some new gameplay elements thanks to it’s new and unique controller peripheral that adds a heartrate monitor to the game that synchronises itself with the players own heartrate.

The game also features a new AI system called the Powerler A.I system that allows for creatures to organise themselves into groups and to battle hunters in a much more realistic and organised fashion. This looks like something that would go well with the new Maneater mode, which pits the players against creatures in a co-operative game which has them completing objectives.

New Dragon Ball Z Film Trailer Rocks Your Dragon

We recently posted news that a brand new film based upon the legendary Dragon Ball franchise had been green-lit. Well with production well under way on the film, Toei have released a suitably epic trailer for the film that I guarantee will rock your dragon, should you have one.

The film which is still currently untitled will tell the story of the much speculated ‘lost decade’ in the history of Dragon Ball. That ‘lost decade’ is of course the time between chapter 517 and 518 of Akira Toriyama’s acclaimed manga. It is said that the film will be completely canon material with Toriyama himself overseeing the entire project.

You can check out the rockin’ new trailer below and let us know what you think of it in the comments section.

Battle.net Hacked

Blizzard has announced that Battle.net suffered a security breach recently. So far a list of global Battle.net users’ email addresses were accessed. Players who use North American Servers also had their personal security questions, encrypted passwords, and information regarding the Mobile and Dial-In authenticators were also accessed. Blizzard was clear to point out that the passwords were encrypted via Secure Remote Password protocol meaning passwords would have to be deciphered one at a time. Blizzard is encouraging players who use the North American servers to change their passwords immediately as a safety precaution. A mobile authenticator update and an automatic prompt to change secret questions and answers will be pushed out in the coming day. It is advised that if you use the same password for other sites to change those passwords too. The full announcement can be found here and an FAQ regarding the breach can be found here.
