With Dishonored set to be released on October 9th in North America, Bethesda and Arkane Studios have chosen to release their fourth and final developer diary for the game. This time around we have a number of developers talking about the development journey of Dishonored and how they are hoping that fans all over the world will appreciate the game.
The video itself can be seen below and from what we have seen so far out of all of these developer diaries, it is clear that the staff working on Dishonored have spent a lot of time making sure that everything in the game is handled with care. Will the final experience be worth it? We certainly hope so.

Remember back when the first trailer for Dead Island appeared online? How it raised the hype level of the game to a fever pitch? Well it seems that Techland and Deep Silver are going to try and do the same thing with this CGI video for Dead Island: Riptide which can be seen below.
It has nearly all of the same elements as the past trailer, including a few small segments to pull on your heartstrings. As far as anything being revealed from this trailer, it doesn’t seem like anything was. Of course with Dead Island: Riptide not set to be released until 2013 there is still plenty of time left for information to be revealed.
It seems that Team Ninja will be revealing a new game at Tokyo Game Show this week. At the moment it is currently unknown what type of game it will be or if it will be another sequel or an original IP at this point. The little reveal came over Team Ninja’s Twitter feed where they stated that they want to repeat the same event as last year, when they announced Dead or Alive 5.
Any guesses as to what this new title could possibly be? With Dead or Alive 5 about to be released and a new Ninja Gaiden game already released earlier this year, the number of possible franchises has shrunk slightly. Could it possibly be another Metroid game? Stay tuned to find out.

BioWare has teased a new game for the Mass Effect franchise and also a name for Mass Effect 3’s next singleplayer content. You can read the official statement made by BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn:
“Executive Producer Casey Hudson and his team are coming off an amazing eight-year run with the Mass Effect trilogy. But they’re not done yet. We are releasing more multiplayer content and we have more single-player stories coming throughout the next six months, including Omega which is coming in the Fall. But the Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey and our teams have plans for another full game. ‘Where to go next?’ with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your ideas.”

Where the Trail Ends is a mountain bike movie. But don’t let that put you off! The film follows some of the top freeride mountain bike riders in the world, and features footage shot over three years in some incredible locations including Nepal and the Gobi Desert.
The world premiere for the film is only a day away, with Red Bull Media streaming the party live at www.redbull.com/bike from 1.30pm in Thursday September 20 (AEST). Now this streaming isn’t just a bit of media coverage for the celebs who turn up on the red carpet, but actually includes the full film as well. As an added bonus, if 1.30pm is a bit of a busy time in your schedule, the whole thing will be repeated for a full 24 hours.

If you enjoy watching humans do amazing/crazy things and want to see some more of those great shots, then make sure and catch the premiere on Thursday.
Is Need For Speed: Most Wanted on my ‘Most Wanted’ list when it comes to mobile games? To put it simply, yes it is. To be put it in more detail, it is certainly one of the most impressive mobile games I have seen in quite some time, in fact it pushes the mobile platform to it’s utmost limits and doesn’t even break a sweat.
The mobile version of Need For Speed: Most Wanted was on show earlier today at EA Australia’s Need For Speed: Most Wanted event right alongside the console version. Now while the console version in and of itself is quite an interesting game, I found the mobile version to be equally as captivating, if not more so.
So what makes this game one to add to your very own ‘Most Wanted’ list? Well quite simply it is a game of great ambition, not only does it look almost as good as the console version, but it plays just as good. The thing that really stuck with me was the excellent control scheme that far surpassed the console experience in my mind. The game implements a tilt to steer control scheme with a few touch gestures for different things such as nitrous, drifting and of course breaking. All this occurs with the game automatically accelerates for you. It works excellently and gives the game an arcade racer vibe. I find it to be somewhat like a mobile version of Burnout with an emphasis on police interference. It works magnificently.
The game places players in different types of races and unlike the console version is not set within an open world, obviously due to the platforms limitations. Despite this, it harkens back the vibes of classic racing games while adding in some fresh new additions to the genre. Not only does it revitalise the racing genre on mobile devices but I feel as though this game revitalises the mobile game marketplace that has stagnated over recent times.
Visually it looks incredibly, with a great amount of attention to detail. More detail than any Need For Speed game on mobile devices prior to this one as a matter of fact. When you crash, your paint will show wear and tear right down to the smallest of scratches on your vehicle. Also there is incredibly realistic lighting and reflection effects in this game, much like the console version you will see lights reflect off your vehicle and reflection on the windows etc. It is all so incredibly detailed. Even the environment is well defined and conceived. The demonstration match I played was on a city night track and my immediate thoughts were something along the lines of ‘wow, a mobile game can look this good?’ I think that says everything about the game’s visuals really, it is simply one of the best looking games on mobile devices with very little even coming close.
In terms of gameplay, it is very addictive and with the arcade racing feel to it, I can imagine myself becoming incredibly immersed in the game both on the go and within the comfort of my home. This addictive nature of course multiplies when you add in the competition aspect which allows you to compete against your friends in terms of score and accomplishments. This of course makes it both a perfect social game and hardcore game.
I truly feel that Need For Speed: Most Wanted on mobile strikes a perfect balance between casual arcade racing fun and hardcore competitive racing. It is easily one of the must have titles coming to the iOS and Android platforms. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this game on the top of mobile users ‘Most Wanted’ lists.
