0

Those players that had a good time with the Loren: The Amazon Princess RPG from Winter Wolves will be interested to hear that they have finally released the expansion, “The Castle of N’mar”.  Featuring new three playable characters seen in the original release, players now have the chance to get Sauzer, Mesphit, and Chambara to join their party as they continue to quest with the rest of their party.  Additionally, two of the three will have full romance arcs for players to try and fulfill.

Besides new playable characters, the expansion also adds many more quests ranging from non-linear storyline quests, to personal quests involving your party members.  Likewise, with the extra quests and romance interests the game will include new endings for players to achieve.  Getting to the endings though will be just a bit different however as the battle system has likewise been modified to rebalance and improve the experience.

Players piqued by what the expansion has to offer can check out the gallery of some new screenshots from the expansion below, and embedded below that a trailer detailing what the expansion includes.  Those interested in getting “The Castle of N’mar” for Loren: The Amazon Princess RPG can find it for $9.99 for PC, Mac, and Linux at the Winter Wolves website HERE.

Football Manager 2013 Release Date and Pre-Order Bonus Detailed

Sports Interactive Limited and SEGA have announced not only the  release date for Football Manager 2013, but a pretty awesome pre-order bonus for those that can’t wait to get their hands on the game.  Coming out on November 2nd, players that pre-order through a participating retailer will receive a fully playable version of the game about two weeks before launch.

This means that as early as October 19th, players that have pre-ordered the game can start playing it.  Don’t worry about losing those two weeks of work either, as the pre-release version will allow saves to transfer directly into the full retail game.  However, this pre-release version will only be single player, so don’t be expecting to jump online or go head-to-head with anything other than the computer.

The pre-release version will remain open and available until November 5th, giving plenty of time for those that pre-ordered to get their full retail version without having them go get it right away day one.  If you’re looking to get Football Manager 2013 and want some early access, be sure to pre-order it right away.

Halo 4 Purple Plasma V Mini Review

Halo 4 Purple Plasma V
Brand: V Energy Drinks
Parent Company: Frucor Beverages
Price: $4.95 (variable)

So the folks over at Frucor Beverages have recently released a tie-in Purple Plasma V Energy Drink with Halo 4 packaging. What’s cool about this is that it also includes an opportunity to win a limited edition Halo 4 Xbox 360 console and is plastered with Halo and Masterchief branding. However, this is a drink, and as such we must ask ourselves: is this a drink worth drinking?

So the first thing you’ll notice about this drink is that it is a 500mL variant of the drinking canister. So if you’re somebody who is sensitive to large doses of caffeine, you may want to share this with a friend or pace yourself with it. Us here at Capsule Computers, and I’m certain the guys over at the V headquarters, definitely don’t want you overdosing on caffeine; regardless of how good the drink it’s in it tastes.

Upon opening the drink, you’ll notice a fragrance that is somewhat unusual. It may offend some noses, but I quite enjoyed it. I would liken the smell to that of crushed grapes, or rotting grapes, something like that. It’s quite enjoyable.

By now you’re probably wondering how the drink tastes. But how do you describe a taste? I’d go with some kind of bitterness scale here and after taking a swig of the drink (and another), I’d say that it isn’t exactly bitter. It’s not super-sweet though, Blue V is much sweeter.

How else would one describe a taste? What could I liken it most to? As someone who loves grape themed drinks, this was my first go to answer, however… I’m not entirely sure I’m right here. I could also just be associating the colour purple with grape and therefore am more inclined to say it tastes grapey. So instead of liking it to something that exists, I’m going to liken it to a feeling and that feeling that I will be likening it to is the feeling of awesome. Drinking Purple Plasma V gives one a sense of awesomeness, which is very similar to the feeling of badassedness.

Kamina’s sweat, something everyone can look forward to tasting. Taste the badass. Taste it good.

Overall the Purple Plasma V is a drink that I would heartily recommend to anyone that enjoys energy drinks. The can has a great look, the drink has a fragrant smell and the taste is what I imagine the great Kamina of Tengen Toppa Gurren Laganns sweat would taste like.

To go along with this announcement the company also revealed the below trailer to show off a little bit of the game. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance special edition revealed

In an event that occurred late in the night, because Konami would hate for us to get sleep, Konami revealed that they will be releasing a special edition of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance alongside the standard edition of the game on February 19th.

While we’ve seen collector’s editions before, this one has a must-have item included with it. Besides the game itself and a soundtrack the special edition will include a High Frequency Blade plasma lamp. As you can see in the image above, this lamp is quite badass as it features Raiden’s sword in the middle of it. No price for this one has been announced yet, but it will likely be over $100 unless that lamp turns out to be quite small…

Do you happen to know a company called GREE? Well if you don’t then you shouldn’t beat yourself up about it because while the company may be one of the largest companies in Japan, they are just now starting to set foot in North America. Konami is helping them out a bit by releasing their Dragon Collection app onto the GREE platform on the iOS.
