AGRONOM Announced: Build Your Efficient Robotic Home on Mars

MindEdges and Skystone Games Announce Automation Love Letter with Eastern European Soul

SAN FRANCISCO – MindEdges and Skystone Games announce AGRONOM, an automation farming game that blends the mechanical depth of Satisfactory and Factorio with the warmth of Eastern European tradition. Build your Martian homestead. Automate your dreams. Grow borscht on an alien world!

You’ve landed on Mars with nothing but a patch of barren red soil and a memory. Gramps Makar’s wife Sofia always dreamed of a home filled with life—with gardens, with purpose, with warmth. Now, on a dead planet in the 22nd century, you’re going to build it for them.

AGRONOM is a love letter to two things: the obsessive optimization of automation games and the human need to create something beautiful. You’ll build production chains that would make any engineer weep—conveyor belts carrying resources, robots tending to greenhouses, furnaces churning day and night. But this isn’t sterile efficiency. It’s cozy. It’s personal. Your robots have personalities. Your base is infused with the folk traditions of old Eastern Europe—painted wood, warm colors, the sense that you’re not just surviving, you’re living.

Dig for resources, build structures, and plant crops. Optimize your production chains to grow food, craft tools, and unlock new regions of Mars. Every upgrade to your base brings you closer to the vision—a thriving settlement where technology and tradition breathe together. The systems will challenge you. The aesthetics will comfort you. And somewhere in the automation loops and the colorful tiles, you’ll find what it means to build a home on an impossible world.

About MindEdges

MindEdges is a game development studio passionate about creating experiences that blend deep systems with heart. AGRONOM represents their vision of automation games that respect both the joy of optimization and the human need for beauty and meaning.

Fight, Thrive Together on the Back of an Ancient Leviathan in Kingfish

Two perspectives, one fight: Work together to battle the forces of darkness as King, Fish

May 12, 2026 – WheelMates developer FireVolt reveal Kingfish, a two-player roguelite cooperative city-builder about managing and defending a kingdom on the back of an ancient leviathan. Kingfish sets sail for consoles and PC via Steam in 2027.

Assume one of two roles in a world covered in a vast ocean filled with monsters and other dangers – Play strategically from above as the giant fish which doubles as the land for the kingdom. Manage resources, build structures, and provide support on the battlefield. On the ground which doubles as the back of the massive seabeast, guide the young King, gathering resources and fighting enemies in real-time combat.

If King and Fish will survive, they must coordinate and each play their roles. As King, manage the details of life on the back of a giant fish and manage the unique villagers.Pay attention to their needs and preferences to raise morale and have a fighting force ready when it’s time for battle, then respond to immediate invading threats.

Or become the far-seeing Fish and look to the bigger picture – nearby dangers in the sea, resource production, and the layout of the city. Expand the city and organize workers to meet production goals. Alert the King to hostile forces approaching in the darkness of night, and provide support in battle by casting powerful spells.

Share information about enemies, resources, and plans in order to bring peace and harmony to the tiny civilization emerging on the back of the ancient leviathan, and carry on the royal family’s promise and destiny!

“The King and Fish both have incomplete information, and it creates this great dynamic of working together despite having completely different perspectives on the same situation,” said FireVolt. “We wanted to bring a fresh take on city builders, blending real-time strategy and third-person action in an asymmetric cooperative experience..”

Each run brings a new city to build, with new characters to meet, new buildings to construct, and new artefacts to discover, but with returning villagers, who provide special perks to King and Fish.

Kingfish launches on PC via Steam in 2027. For more information about the game, be sure to add it to your Steam wishlist.

FireVolt is an indie team focused on cooperative game experiences that are easy to pick up and meant to be played together. The team is hard at work on multiple projects – RC car puzzle-adventure WheelMates, chaotic co-op construction sandbox Salvation Denied, and cooperative city-builder KingFish.

Snow summit sim Above The Snow teases new Endless Mode, full automation system & DLC

Roadmap reveals plans for post-launch content

Los Angeles, CA – May 12, 2026 – Building on its recent Steam launch, Above the Desk is wasting no time expanding its mountain survival experience Above the Snow, revealing a packed post-launch roadmap featuring Endless Mode upgrades, deep automation systems, major quality-of-life improvements, and an upcoming DLC.

Already holding a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam, the narrative management sim continues to gain momentum as players push deeper into its harsh expedition systems and evolving trail-management gameplay.

The roadmap begins this month with Version 1.1, introducing a redesigned Paths Building Mode, key balance adjustments, UI improvements, trail save/rename functionality, and a brand-new post-story Endless Mode designed to push survival strategies far beyond the campaign.

June’s Version 1.2 update expands the experience further with Photo Mode, improved trail maps, additional buildable structures, and faster, more intuitive route selection tools.

In July, Version 1.3 will deliver one of the game’s most significant system upgrades yet: a scheduler-based automation system, allowing players to assign and optimize crew tasks across their entire survival operation. The update also adds new Endless Mode events, expanded crew selection systems, further balancing, and additional building content.

Looking ahead, the roadmap also confirms a Version 1.4 DLC, currently in development, signaling even more content beyond the core updates.

Blending survival strategy, expedition logistics, and infrastructure management, Above the Snow challenges players to expand fragile mountain routes while balancing limited resources, crew efficiency, and the ever-present danger of the wilderness.

Above the Snow is also available in a Steam bundle with The Alpine EditionTiny BookshopFarmers Dynasty 2and Sengoku Dynasty.

Customize your own guns and uncover the mystery of a steampunk island!

Austin, Texas – May 12th, 2026 – Indie developer Realmsoft, in partnership with OI Games, are thrilled to announce that after 14 years in development the weapon-building steampunk metroidvania Clockwork Ambrosia has finally launched on Steam for $19.99. Blending fast-paced 2D run-and-gun platforming with deep weapon customization, Clockwork Ambrosia invites players to build their own arsenal through a wide range of modular upgrades, from screen-filling shot splitters to devastating missile barrages and precision sniper rounds.

“When we first dreamed up Clockwork Ambrosia back in 2012, we had no idea what kind of journey we were embarking upon,” said Nathan Hiemenz, Founder and Developer at Realmsoft. “We’ve learned so much in that time and the game has greatly evolved for the better. Clockwork Ambrosia is a classic metroidvania that mixes oldschool sensibilities and charm with contemporary flourishes like weapon customization. What begins as a fight for survival quickly turns into a deeper mystery, as Iris uncovers a world where the island’s population has vanished, replaced by hostile machines and strange creatures.

Set across a richly detailed steampunk world, players will explore diverse biomes ranging from sky cities above the clouds to overgrown mushroom forests and the depths of sunken ruins. Along the way, Iris will encounter a cast of eccentric characters, from rogue AI allies to curious inhabitants, all while piecing together the truth behind Aspida’s downfall.

Clockwork Ambrosia features:

  • Buy enemy drops from the Borersville shop if you miss them during the heat of battle

Rob an Absolutely Cursed Neighborhood in Burgle Supply Company’s 1.0 Launch Today

Sneak through new levels, avoid monstrous pets, collect new masks and upgrades

BOSTON — May 12, 2026 — Burgle Supply Company, the co-op horror comedy about bungling burglars looting a nightmarish neighborhood from the award-winning Terrible Posture Games, ups the antics with a wealth of new content in its 1.0 release on PC via Steam today.

Start a profitable life of crime today with Burgle Supply Company! Gather a gaggle of up to six pals to rob unsuspecting homes full of sweet, sweet loot. Yoink key items and throw them into the definitely-not-suspicious plain white truck. Take on optional challenges to pilfer some extra credit – and extra goodies – to earn that gold star and make your parents proud.

Prepare to face a variety of lethal and unsettling family pets. Evade the mutant dog (the goodest boy around!) by carrying out missions quickly and quietly to avoid becoming masked kibble! Other day-to-day risks may include ghost moths, lobster fish, explosive egg-laying slugs, and accidental deaths caused by well-meaning associates (Burgle Supply Company makes no claim to the safety of our customers and accepts no liability).

Return to the super secret basement hideout after every (survived) heist, and purchase stylish upgrades with the day’s spoils. Collect over 130 masks and custom outfits to curate a crime-ready fit. In 1.0, snag 80 new masks, including “Key” masks that unlock hidden areas mid-heist, and deck out the home base with new furnishings and upgrades! Of course, that will require surviving the toothy wrath of three new “adorable” pets to keep them.

“Thanks to the feedback from our community, we’ve been able to make the most of the Early Access period and bolster Burgle Supply Company with plenty of improvements and new content,” said Joe Mirabello, Creative Director at Terrible Posture Games. “Indulge in some good old-fashioned fun with friends by taking on ridiculous heists set in a dozen new levels, including graveyards, secret labs, renaissance festivals, giant bathrooms, and more, all while dodging new enemies, and discovering plenty of other fresh surprises in 1.0!”

Burgle Supply Company (formerly titled Good Boy) is now available on PC via Steam 1.0 for $7.99 USD/€7,99/¥1,050 with English, Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese language support.

Earth is dying and humanity is running out of time. 12 light-years from home, Tau Ceti f offers a small sliver of hope. When the colony ship Cassiopeia crash lands on the planet, its crew soon realize they are far from being alone.

Hunted by an alien organism capable of mimicking its prey, the crew of the Cassiopeia must outwit their pursuers to make it home alive. As they battle to survive, they are confronted with the hardest choice of all: to save themselves, they must risk the lives of everyone on Earth.

In space, death takes many forms.

A bold first for Supermassive Games, this “The Thing… in space” sci-fi survival horror journey evolves The Dark Pictures formula with real-time threats, survival gameplay and enhanced tools like Turning Points. Players must navigate impossible moral dilemmas amid rising paranoia, where no one on the crew can be trusted and every choice matters, shaping the fate of the crew at every turn. Directive 8020 includes several stand-out gameplay-enhancing features:

  • TRUST NO ONE: Encounter an alien lifeform that perfectly imitates its prey. Years of training and trust are lost among the crew when their enemy hides in plain sight. Who is human and who is not? Your choices are now more important than ever!
  • REWIND DECISIONS: Rewrite your destiny and change the course of your story with our new Turning Points story tree. Uncover multiple endings, unlock hidden paths, and save your crew from their fateful deaths.
  • REAL-TIME ALIEN THREATS: Evade a deadly alien threat that roams the dark corridors of the ship, intent on eradicating human life. Overcome your enemies using improvised weapons, lightning reflexes, and stealth.
  • DON’T PLAY ALONE: Recruit up to five players to join the mission in couch co-op movie night mode. Choose which crew members to control and work together with your friends to survive alien infiltrators, deadly dilemmas, and catastrophic system failures (with online multiplayer coming in a post-launch update).

“With Directive 8020, we’ve taken our signature horror narrative and everything we love about cinematic storytelling, pushing it all into new territory,” said Will Doyle, Creative Director at Supermassive Games. “We’re incredibly proud of what the team has accomplished, and bringing our storytelling into a sci-fi setting for the first time has been a hugely exciting step. The team has worked hard to refine every part of the experience, so we can’t wait for players to finally get their hands on it.”

Step aboard the Cassiopeia…and trust no one. Directive 8020 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

Blades of Fire – Version 2.0 Ups the Challenge: New Video Reveals Titanium Difficulty and New Game+

Available on Steam This Week – Put Your Experience to The Test in a Punishing New Difficulty Level, and Begin Your Adventure Anew with New Game+

Milton Keynes, UK, May 12, 2026 – With the release of the dark fantasy action-adventure Blades of Fire on Steam just days away, developer MercurySteam and publisher 505 Games have revealed details on two more new features to come with Version 2.0. The final video of their weekly feature reveal series showcases a punishing new difficulty mode, Titanium Difficulty, alongside the introduction of New Game Plus, allowing players to replay Aran de Lira’s adventure and uncover a new level of mastering the forge.

Watch the final episode of the Blades of FireFeature Video Series: Titanium Difficulty & New Game+

The highly challenging difficulty level, Titanium Difficulty – recommended only for the most experienced players looking to prove themselves – doesn’t pull any punches! It requires smart combat tactics, excellent weapon management, and a perceptive eye to strategize against enemy behaviour for them to come out unscathed. Players will battle their way through enemies with enhanced health, armour, and a 20% damage increase. Bosses have been rebalanced, with stricter timing-based mechanics – rewards come to those with precise combat, while failure awaits the reckless. And if that wasn’t enough, the Queen has placed a curse on certain Anvils throughout the realm, rendering them unusable for rest or fast travel, hindering Aran’s progress.

Unlocked after completing Blades of Fire a first time, New Game Plus invites players to relive Aran’s adventure while maintaining most of their progression. Skills and upgrades, health and stamina gems, weapons and blueprints, materials, forge memory, codex content, Arcana spells and unlocked skins, will carry over but at a cost, as enemy damage will scale to a player’s maximum health. For the completionists, New Game Plus introduces two new skins and 27 exclusive forge statues that will unlock brand new weapon parts. Visible on the map from the start, offer up the correct weapon type to each statue to make new weapon parts available in the forge.

For players looking to put their skills to the test and reap the rewards that come from overcoming a brutal challenge, Titanium Difficulty and New Game Plus are exactly what they’re looking for.

Download the Blades of Fire demo, available now on Steam, and experience the new features included in Version 2.0 ahead of its official launch.

Blades of Fire is currently available on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Blades of Fire – Version 2.0 will be available on Steam on May 14.

Starting May 14, the Version 2.0 upgrade launches as a free update on all other platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Epic Games Store (PC).
