Groups of dungeon crawlers will be randomly selected to enter the mysterious Gate of Darkness once a boss monster is slain; it’s then that evil will pour from the Gate of Darkness to attack and enter Elrios through a Dimension Portal that must be protected at all costs.  However, this feat can not be done alone! If a party has less than four members, a special group of heroes will also join the fight.

How will players take on an army from hell . by fighting back with an army of their own!  Strategically summon monsters of different types to battle the demons with varying offense and defense characteristics, and no infernal assault on Elrios is complete without a fiendish overlord of unimaginable power.  Will our heroes be vanquished when the ultimate evil steps through the Gate, or will Elrios summon a champion of her own to help our heroes?  Victors will be rewarded handsomely with amazing Gate of Darkness prizes including new armor, new weapons and more.

Kakashi Takes The Spotlight In Upcoming Naruto Anime Special

- Who is the man behind the mask? -
– Who is the man behind the mask? –

Ever since Kakashi’s first appearance, both on the page and on-screen, he has been a fan favourite that has also been in a constant cloud of mystery, some would say that half of Kakashi’s appeal as a character is brought out more by what you DON’T know about him than what you DO know about him and I’d have to agree entirely. Fans of both Naruto Shippuden and the character of Kakashi will be pleased to know that a new Naruto Anime special as been announced and it is to focus on Kakashi’s past. It is titled; “Kakashi Anbu Chapter – The Shinobi Who Lives In The Shadows and will”, obviously, revolve around his time in the Anbu Corps. Anbu, for those of you who don’t know, are basically the Naruto world’s version of a highly-trained and incredibly deadly Black Ops unit.

ooked upon member before he decided to change paths and become what is basically a teacher. Throughout most of the series he serves as the Team 7 (Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura) leader and is present in almost every crucial moment throughout the story. Other characters to appear in the special will be Hiruzen Sarutobi, Minato Namikaze, Yamato, Itachi Uchiha and plenty more. We’ll be diving into the rich history of Hidden Leaf Village alongside it’s most elite soldiers, it’s really not a special any fan of Naruto is going to want to miss. The special is set to begin airing on the 6th of February next year, obviously there’s no talks of any localisation because it was only just announced in Japan but, seeing as it’s Naruto, I’m sure we’ll be seeing it on our shores sooner or later.

Broken Sword 5- The Serpent’s Curse Now Available

broken-sword-5-serpents-curse-logoBroken Sword is returning to its point and click roots with the fifth entry in the series, The Serpent’s Curse. Recent entries had strayed away from the traditional point and click set up in favour of more action elements, but Revolution Software is hoping that the series is going to make a triumphant return thanks to a team of developers including talent from the original Broken Sword team.

“This has been a labour of love not just for us here at Revolution but the entire Broken Sword community too. We have been privileged to be able to make the game we’ve wanted to thanks to the generous support of our Kickstarter supporters, who really have given us the freedom to take the series to new heights.”
Charles Cecil, founder of Revolution Software.

The Serpent’s Curse casts players as “intrepid American” George Stobbart and journalist Nico Collard, who set off to find a stolen painting but find themselves amidst a much darker conspiracy. After witnessing the theft of the seemingly worthless art from a Parisian art gallery, the two find themselves on a globe trotting adventure centered around the Gnostic Gospels, a relic that mystery fans who have ever perused a bit of Dan Brown will be well aware of.

The game has been split into two episodes, with the second part set for release in the first quarter of 2014. The first part of Serpent’s Curse is available on PC, Mac, and Linux now, and can be found on Steam and GOG.com – currently sitting at a discounted price of $19.99. Releases on other platforms should follow shortly, with the PlayStation Vita version first up, followed by iOS and Android editions in the new year.

The Wolf Among Us Hitting iOS with Exploring the World of Fables Video

The Wolf Among Us has had some great critical praise from plenty of people, so those that have missed out on it so far should really consider checking it out. If for some reason you don’t have a Xbox 360, PS3, or PC to play it on, Telltale Games and Warner Bros. have covered even more bases by releasing it today onto iOS.

Well, they’ve got you covered in that respect as well, as today they also released a new video exploring the world of the Fables comics and game. It does a good job giving the low down on the world itself and the main character Bigby Wolf, also known as the Big Bad Wolf.

Those wanting to get the lowdown on all that information can find it in the video embedded below. Anyone wanting to know more about the game itself can check out our own Review of Episode 1. The Wolf Among Us is set to release later today onto the iOS App Store.
