Following the universally acclaimed 131st episode of the Hunter x Hunter anime which featured the climactic confrontation between protagonist Gon Freecss and the Chimera Ant Neferpitou, Bandai have released a brand new figure based upon a certain shocking transformation that occurs in Gon Freecss.

The transformation of course refers to his forced aging which in turn sacrifices his life energy in exchange for all the power he will ever have in that life. The figure stands at 1 foot tall with the transformed Gon’s signature towering hair being represented with the deftest of accuracy.

The Hunter x Hunter figure is currently available throughout Japan. It is unknown whether the figure will every head outside of the country, but it sure does make a mighty fine import for collectors.

The official English language dub trailer for the popular battle anime series Kill La Kill has made its way online thanks to Aniplex of America. The dub which comes straight from Aniplex is featured in epic fashion, highlighting the main cast with their English voice.

Kill La Kill follows the misadventures of the revenge-fueled Ryuko Matoi as she seeks to uncover the truth of her father’s death. This quest of hers manages to lead her to Honnouji Academy, a school ruled by the sinister Satsuki Kiryuin.

In the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the question on the mind of many Hunter x Hunter fans was answered. The Election Arc of Hunter x Hunter will indeed be getting adapted into the anime series.

The Election Arc of course revolves around the 13th Chairman Election for the Hunter Association following the events surrounding the Chimera Ant Arc. Who will be elected the next Chairman? It is anyone’s guess as this political drama becomes a deadly conflict.

Several new cast members have been confirmed, of particular interest is Hiroki Takahashi as Pariston Hill, Ikue Ohtani as Cheadle Yorkshire and Maaya Uchida as Alluka Zoldyck.

Largest tank release to date and special retail package on the way

May 29, 2014 — Wargaming today announced details for its upcoming Soviet Steel update for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition, as well as information on the Combat Ready Starter Pack that will offer players a tremendous value and exclusive items for the console free-to-play title.

Representing the largest single content update so far for the title, the Soviet Steel, slated to go live on June 3rd, will enrich the game’s roster with 29 iconic USSR tank destroyers, light, medium, and heavy tanks, bringing the in-game vehicle total to over 150. The intimidating IS-3; a brutal close quarters and urban combat icon, the ISU-152; a high tier tank destroyer, and more will clash on two new battlegrounds—Komarin and Ensk.

The company also announced the Combat Ready Starter Pack, containing a war chest’s worth of in-game gold and other goodies at a discounted price of AUD26.95. Included in the package are:

  • The premium Panzer 38H Tier II German light tank, famously known for its heavy armor and quick firing gun.

Copenhagen, Denmark, May 28th 2014: Zero Point Software, developer of the sci-fi indie game Interstellar Marines, today announced all owners of the deluxe Spearhead version of the game can now access and test early, beta builds of forthcoming game updates.

“This is a really special day for us”, explained Kim Haar Jørgensen, Creative Director of Interstellar Marines. “The Spearhead version is for those players who want to go the extra mile to support development of Interstellar Marines. By giving Spearhead players access to early development builds the community can test beta versions of new features and enhancements we have planned”.

“We’re also really pleased to be giving something back to those players who have invested a little extra in Interstellar Marines”, continued Jørgensen. “As an Early Access game we rely completely on the feedback and support of our amazing community. To be able to give our Spearheads early access to new updates is one way we can repay them for the awesome support and encouragement they continue to provide to us”.

Zero Point Software have already released a beta build of its next update for Spearhead owners to test. The next update will expand and enhance the new, highly intense Deadlock game mode. “We received a lot of fantastic feedback from the community on updates and changes they would like to see to Deadlock”, explained Jørgensen, “we’ve filtered through all of that feedback, distilled that which will make Deadlock better and will be implementing the first part of it in the next update”.
