After returning from a 2 and a half year long hiatus from drawing his Shonen Jump manga series Hunter x Hunter, Yoshihiro Togashi has issues a statement on the hiatus and has responded to complaints from fans about the long break.
In his comments section of Weekly Shonen Jump he stated, “I’m sorry for the long wait. I’m a little bit rusty, but I’ll do my best.” Later on he detailed to Mantan Web that he had expected many complaints when he took his hiatus but he hopes the quality of his work will silence any naysayers.
The Hunter x Hunter manga returned in last week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Stay tuned for further developments as they come to light.

Munin – Norse puzzle fun from Gojira and Daedalic Entertainment released for iOS, Android, PC, MAC and Linux
Hamburg, Germany / Lisbon, Portugal; June 4th, 2014 – The Hamburg-based publisher Daedalic Entertainment will be releasing Munin, an exciting 2D puzzle platformer from the Portuguese developer Gojira, for smartphones and tablets as well as computers. Munin will be available on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and on the Amazon App Store on July 7th, 2014.
In Munin, players enter a fantastic world of the legends of the Norse gods, because the raven Munin is one of the two loyal messengers of Odin, the father of the gods. But due to a capricious prank by Loki, he has been transformed into a little human girl, and his feathers have been scattered across the nine worlds of Yggdrasil. The players’ task is to find the feathers and restore the raven to his true form.
Munin combines classic side-scrolling gameplay with screen elements which can be rotated 360°. By turning the different screen elements, players open blocked paths, overcome obstacles, and create new passages. Thus columns are converted into bridges, and the ceiling of the cave suddenly becomes a safe bridge. Along with classic switches and moving levels, the physical properties of a wide variety of objects in the game can also be put to clever use in order to move forward, giving Munin even more game depth. Liquids such as lava or water begin to flow thanks to rotation, stones and boulders fall into the depths thanks to gravity. In order to help players keep from becoming disoriented, Norse runes point the way to the lost feathers.
Thanks to the extraordinary game worlds and a total of 77 exciting puzzle levels, Munin offers a unique mix of Norse mythology and tricky puzzles. With around seven hours of game fun, Daedalic Entertainment provides a long-lasting game experience.
Munin will be released on July 7th, 2014 for iOS and Android. Munin will be available on the Mac App Store, Google Play, and on the Amazon App Store at a price of 2.99 USD/ 1.99 GBP/ 99 RUR/ 2.69 EUR. For PC, MAC & Linux, Munin appears right in time for E3 on June 10th, 2014 for the price of 9.99 USD/ 6.99 GBP/ 249.00 RUR/ 9.99 EUR.
KING’S BEWITCHING BUBBLE BURSTING ADVENTURE RETURNS WITH THE OFFICAL LAUNCH OF BUBBLE WITCH SAGA 2
New Witch, New Tricks!
LONDON & NEW YORK, 4 JUNE 2014: It’s the witching hour once again! King Digital Entertainment plc (NYSE: KING), a leading interactive entertainment company for the mobile world and creator of global sensations Candy Crush Saga and Farm Heroes Saga, today announced it has brought players back under the spell of one of its original breakout hits with the launch of Bubble Witch Saga 2. This all-new instalment of the ever-popular bubblicious bubble shooter enchants players with a wide variety of all-new bubble bursting game action. Enhancements include an appealing and whimsical storyline, upgraded bewitching characters, dynamic visuals, exciting episodic adventures, and much more. A “wand”erful new edition to the casual gaming scene, Bubble Witch Saga2 has been optimised for play on mobile devices and is now available across iOS, Google Android and Facebook.
Bubble Witch Saga 2 presents a spellbinding next chapter to Bubble Witch Saga, which has been enjoyed by millions of devoted players on both Facebook and mobile devices since it launched on Facebook in September 2011. Where the original Bubble Witch Sagawas set in the East and drew from the wicked world of evil, Bubble Witch Saga 2 brings gamers into the enchanted land of the West with the goal of doing good. The game’s main character, Stella the good witch, and her two trusty feline sidekicks, take action to defeat the wretched ‘Morgana The Boss’ and work to rid Witch Country of all its evil spirits by completing missions to collect magic elements trapped within the bubbles. Players must join Stella on this daunting quest to fend off dark spirits plaguing the land by traveling through the different kingdoms and solving a multitude of levels through bubble bursting fun.
A free-to-play mobile game, Bubble Witch Saga 2 features more than 70 bubblific levels at launch. The levels offer an exciting range of all-new game mechanics that will keep players engaged and on the tip of their broomsticks throughout the journey to help Stella. Players can achieve top scores by creating groups of three or more magical bubbles and blasting them within the specified move limits. For every shot that makes a bubble crackle and burst, players earn new spiders at the bottom of the screen and receive higher points by making the bubbles fall into more valuable cauldrons.
In the pursuit of good, players can go further into the world of Witch Country by utilising additional boosters and gameplay modes (Classic Mode, Save Mode and Wheel Mode) that allow them to more easily collect and clear groups of bubbles and magical elements. And, as with all King games, Bubble Witch Saga 2 on mobile can be synced to Facebook so players can unlock new levels and access leader boards without losing their progress in the game.
“Whether you’re an existing Bubble Witch Saga fan, or new to the franchise, Bubble Witch Saga 2 is a game that offers exciting new characters and challenges and can be played across platforms,” says Jan Wedekind, Business Performance Director at King’s Barcelona studio. “In this next iteration we really focused on optimising the gameplay for mobile devices, and as a result we have created a game we are truly proud of and excited for people to download and start playing.”
Bubble Witch Saga 2 is available to download now on iOS and Android devices and Facebook.

Magic: The Gathering Intro Decks aren’t designed to win tournaments, or be unbeatable in any of the game’s formats. Their primary purpose is to provide a pre-made deck that new players can pick up and play, secondary to this is that they typically introduce and make use of the new rules implemented in the set they are from. In this way Intro Packs provide a great first stop for anyone jumping into Magic: The Gathering.
NOTE: Since Intro Decks are made for newer Magic: The Gathering players, I wrote the review to reflect that, and used some terminology that only Magic players will understand. This review was constructed using the Fates Forseen Intro Pack with references to other standard-legal sets.
Scry, Scry miss American Pie. Fates Forseen is all about scrying through your deck and seeing what is coming next. Or more specifically, deciding what is coming next. Magic the Gathering’s Scry mechanic has been around for a long time, but it recently came back in a big way with the Theros block. Now we have Fates Forseen, a Blue/Red deck that will have players scrying every. single. turn. Being able to manipulate what comes next is a huge advantage in Magic, and this deck proves it.
So this deck is at its core a beat-down deck. Unlike most traditional aggressive decks that want to play little things and overwhelm the opposition, Fates Foreseen wants to play things that can keep your opponent’s creature’s at bay before blasting through and ripping the field wide openI Sure your opponent will have a few blockers up their sleeves by that point in the game, but that is what your rare card is for! Lets take a look at the cover-card for this deck; Scourge of Fleets
Ok, so 7 mana is a little expensive, but it is still a 6/6 and it has a pretty awesome ability. Returning creatures to your opponent’s hands equal to the amount of Islands you control is awesome, especially late game. Removing a few pivotal blockers from the game can really open you up to swing in with just unseemly amounts of damage. While there is only one of him in the deck, the fact that almost every second card has the Scry ability means that you will be able to filter through your deck to find him in now time, especially if you get your other rare onto the field early enough.
Prognostic Sphinx is one of my favourite blue cards because it does literally everything blue should do. It flies, it scrys and it protects itself. Oh and when I say it scrys, it scrys BIG. scry 3 whenever it swings at your opponents is massive, and if you happen to be playing Omenspeaker that turn, or utilising either of your Sigiled creatures, then you are looking at scrying 5+ cards away.
Of course one sphinx and one bomb-card aren’t going to win you the game. Scrying has more use than to just help you find cards. A few red cards, that just so happen to be included in this set turn your card-advantage into a very real, very scary board presence. Flamespeaker Adept and Knowledge and Power are your main win conditions here:
A few other creatures fill in the ranks, but the crux of the deck is its spell list. Cards designed to scry away useless junk, burn your enemies or draw you more cards. However, it isn’t all smiles and sunshine, as there are a few cards that the deck really doesn’t need.
This. This is a bad card. Part of the job is an Intro Pack is to teach players what is good and what is bad – well this is bad. Sure it is a card with a lot of utility; it gives you two birds and lets you scry but look at its mana cost. Your Scourge of Fleets only costs 1 more mana and when it hits the field, you know the game is about to shift into a whole other gear.
Pensive Minotaur isn’t a BAD card, but he does nothing. He sits at a good point on the curve and getting him out turn 3 is nice and all, but there is so many better things you could be playing. So how would I improve on this deck? Well since this is a deck that is all about delivering a massive beat-down and manipulating your own deck to make sure that happens, I would make the following adjustments (if you have the resources of course). First I would get rid of these:
And replace them with these:

Now you have a deck overall costs a little less mana, and will hit a little bit harder while still keeping the “Scry your entire deck” strategy front and center. I have to say that although this deck is absolutely, positively not competitive it is still a LOT of fun. It is probably the most fun I have ever had with an Intro Pack and the look on other people’s faces when every other card you play lets you scry is a laugh riot on its own. I have been playing magic for over a decade and this deck has inspired me to go and make a ridiculous scry-based deck of my own, so if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go do that.

Call of Duty®: Ghosts Invasion DLC Pack Now Available for Xbox One and Xbox 360
Call of Duty®: Ghostsplayers on Xbox One and Xbox 360 can now purchase Invasion, the game’s third epic DLC Pack. Invasion offers players four new multiplayer maps, plus “Awakening” – the next chapter in the game’s four-part episodic Extinction storyline, and more unique Field Orders, including the Death Mariachi, the Blessing of Anubis – the Half Jackal/Half Human Protector of the Dead, and Ghost Pirates.
Invasion’s four new multiplayer maps include:
– Departed: Set in a rural Mexican town during the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration, where players who complete the map’s unique Field Order will unlock the Death Mariachi kill streak. Armed with dual-wielding pistols, the Death Mariachi settles scores, with each kill turning enemy players into another member of the band, and a temporary squad mate.
– Pharaoh: The abandoned archaeological site of an ancient Egyptian palace. Players will have to be on the lookout for collapsing monuments and urns full of flesh-eating scarabs, among other surprises in this multi-level map. Players who unlock this map’s Field Order will be handsomely rewarded with the Blessing of Anubis, the half jackal/half human protector of the dead.
– Mutiny:A remote Caribbean island harbouring an eerie pirate hideout complete with abandoned trading posts and prison cells, where speed and stealth are a must as players navigate the narrow and intertwining pathways. Players that unlock “Mutiny’s” Field Order will find themselves escorted by two ethereal ghost pirates who will happily send enemy players down to Davey Jones’ locker on their behalf.
– Favela: A refreshed version of the fan-favourite map from Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2, this Brazilian shantytown has seen substantial change since its original release. Buildings once under construction are now complete, while others have crumbled into a state of disrepair. Players must avoid falling to their death as they traverse the map from one building to the next, avoiding enemy snipers taking advantage of the map’s long sightlines. Players who complete “Favela’s” Field Order will be able to call in air support from a nearby Y-8 Gunship.
Anchoring the Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion DLC Pack is the next instalment in the game’s Extinction mode episodic narrative, “Episode 3: Awakening.” In Awakening, the team descends into the perilous alien underworld to strike at the subterranean fortress of the Ancestors – the mysterious puppet-masters behind the Cryptid invasion. Armed with a range of new hi-tech weapons and equipment, the team must penetrate a series of defensive barriers to reach the Ark and unlock the secrets of the Ancestors’ psychic powers. As the final battle draws closer, the fate of the Earth and the future of the human race hang in the balance.
Invasion is available now exclusively for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, a la carte for a suggested retail price of $19.95, or as part of the discounted* Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC Season Pass**. Call of Duty: Ghosts game sold separately and is required to play the Invasion DLC Pack.

**Content in the DLC Season Pass may be sold separately. If you purchase the DLC Season Pass, do not also purchase these standalone DLC Packs, as you will be charged for them. DLC Season Pass and DLC Packs may not be available on all platforms or in all territories. Pricing and release dates may vary by platform.
While not perfect, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 fit in as a nice addition to the hero’s resume (read the review here), and those who missed out on snagging the once pre-order only “Web Theads Suit Pack” will be happy to know that they can download the DLC today of the Xbox Live Marketplace, PSN, and Steam (sorry Wii U owners, got the shaft this time).
This pack allows players to suit up in the following attire:
New! The dynamo-powered, energy-resistant Electro-Proof Suit
New! The heavily armored Ends of the Earth Suit, perfect for fending off up to six sinister villains at a time
The technological marvel of the Iron Spider Suit
The celestial, Big Bang-infused Cosmic Spider-Man Suit
The sleek, not-of-this-world Black Suit
The shadowy, alternate universe Spider-Man Noir Suit
Yes, I am not a fan personally of paying for something that should have been a nifty unlock – but hey, Spidey fans who want more life out of the game probably won’t spend too long pondering as they can snag the DLC at $6.99 or $1.99 a suit. If Activision are listening however, I think its time to seal this type of content up as unlocks, to reward the player for simply buying the game.
