New Need For Speed Leaked Details

Need-For-Speed-2015-promo-shot-003

With the announcement of the latest Need for Speed title came a lot more questions than answers. Now a quick minded Reddit user has managed to screenshot some leaked and quickly removed promotional material that was on the official Xbox site and the proposed features sound great. A story mode will see “multiple, overlapping stories” that allows you to “carve your own path”, rich authentic customisation and five ways to play with Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw being those options. The game will be set in Ventura Bay, that will have a West Coast Urban theme featuring downtown, a harbour and canyon regions. It is said this world will be nocturnal, but we are not sure if that means their won’t be a day/night cycle.

A release date was also leaked in the picture for November 3rd but we imagine this could easily change. While EA and development team Ghost have been reluctant to say this is a follow up to Need for Speed Underground it definitely seems at the least to be a spiritual successor and I’m sure plenty of Need for Speed fans are ok with that as long as they get their neon customisation. More details about Need for Speed will be official unveiled at EA’s E3 2015 press conference. You can check out the full leaked image below.

Well its official, we all know that this year’s Disney Infinity game will be Star Wars themed, and that it will feature characters and stories from the past, present and future of the galaxy far, far away. Well today we have some new info and a few new screenshots of the game’s first Play Set: Twilight of the Republic, which is set during the end of the infamous Clone Wars.

Through the course of the Play Set, players will travel to four locations and explore open worlds of Tatooine and Coruscant, battle droids in Geonosis and partake in an epic boss battle in Naboo. Along the way, players will use the Force and master their Lightsaber skills as they fight alongside Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda to save the Republic and defeat the Separatists.

We also know that each Jedi character is given specialised Force combat abilities and Force finishing moves, as well as unique Lightsaber forms with powerful combo attacks. As Jedi Master Yoda, for example, players will leap into action with his agile and acrobatic prowess. Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano uses her lightning-fast dual Lightsabers to carve up Battledroids, while Darth Maul uses his double-bladed Lightsaber and power in the dark side of the Force in a death-defying duel against the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

In addition to those new pieces of information, we also have some new screenshots of the Play Set to share with you all. So check out the gallery below and make sure you stay tuned to Capsule Computers for all the exciting Disney news as it becomes available.

Star Wars: Battle Pod Cruising into Homes this June

star-wars-battle-pod-logo-01

In this day of Xbox Ones and high-end PCs it can be hard to remember that Arcades are still very much a part of the gaming atmosphere. Time Crisis, Tekken  and any number of racing games still get players dropping $1 a round down the shops. Well, once upon a time, in a galaxy far far away there was an arcade machine called Star Wars: Battle Pod… Ok, so it wasn’t that long ago, but Battle Pod let players jump into the cockpit of a snowspeeder on Hoth, or a speeder bike through the forest moon of Endor. Well thanks to Namco Bandai, you will be able to enjoy all of the epic space battles in your own home… presuming you’ve got the cash.

star-wars-battle-pod-screenshot-01

For the low, low price of $35,000 (no, that isn’t a typo), you can have your very own Battle Pod. OR if you are feeling ritzy, then you can get the Premium edition Battle Pod for $100,000 that comes with genuine leather seats that are synchronized to move/react to the action of the game and is available in two different glamorous designs inspired by the images of the Rebel Alliance and Darth Vader.

While the pod is a little rich for my tastes, but if you have a spare $35,000 laying around then check out the official site later in June for some official info regarding purchasing and delivery.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator Revealed, Adds Johnny and Teases New Fighter

guilty-gear-xrd-revelator-screenshot- (1)

Arc System Works has announced that they are currently working on releasing Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator for arcades in Japan. This release will be an enhanced version of Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- and will feature various adjustments to the fighting game as well as new characters. One such adjustment is the addition of a “Stylish” mode similar to Blazblue where players will be able to perform various combo attacks and special moves using simpler button inputs.

In the announcement from Famitsu, it has been revealed that Johnny Sfondi will be added to the game as a playable character in Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator and they have teased that another, possibly female, character will also be added to the game. Currently the only clue given is the silhouette below and while it is possible that it is a brand new character to the series, fans seem to be hoping it is a newly designed Bridget or Dizzy.
