However in this latest trailer from Gust and Koei Tecmo we see Arnath exclaim that she will protect Rulitis from her fate of being the seal for the “Lord of the Night” no matter the cost.

The trailer also gives us a brief look at some of Arnath’s transformation abilities and you can check out the full video below. As for the game itself, currently Yoru no Nai Kuni is set to be released in Japan on August 27th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

muv-luv-key-art-001

If you happen to be a fan of visual novels then you likely have seen that over the past year and a half we have seen quite a lot of progress when it comes to bringing some of the hottest Japanese visual novels to English speaking audiences, something that most people never thought would happen. Now another long running series is going to make an attempt at reaching the English speaking world courtesy of Degica and IXTL.

The companies have announced that they are planning on launching a Kickstarter campaign in either August or September to try and localize the Muv-Luv visual novel series. This includes the PC release of the first two titles in the series, Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative.

Degica will be formally announcing the Kickstarter at a press conference event that will be held at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 3, between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m., at LACC 303A. Until then, you can check out the company’s official Muv-Luv website here.

Muv-Luv‘s Two Story Arcs

  • Muv-Luv Extra – Shirogane Takeru was living a peaceful life as a 3rd year high school student, with his childhood friend Kagami Sumika. However, one morning Takeru awakens to see a mysterious girl named Mitsurugi Meiya sleeping in his bed. Thus begins the start of a high school love comedy where Takeru will have to choose between his childhood friend and the girl insisting they are bonded by fate.
  • Muv-Luv Unlimited – Shirogane Takeru finds himself stuck in a parallel world where mankind is on the brink of destruction after battling against alien invaders known as BETA for the last 20 years. Takeru soon finds himself enrolled into the United Nation force to fight these aliens and finds the parallel versions of all of his high school friends, with the exception of Kagami Sumika, who does not seem to exist. Soon he will have to fight to save mankind, and protect the girl he comes to love over the course of the story.

Muv-Luv Alternative

Three years after witnessing the tragic exodus of mankind, Takeru wakes up believing that everything that had happened was just a dream. The brief hope that he has at last come back to his world is dashed away as soon as he discovers that he is once more trapped in the parallel world of Unlimited. Restarting on that fateful day he first came here, will Takeru manage to use his knowledge of previous events to change mankind’s tragic future?

Special event gives renewed access to rare items and PvP fans receive a ranking and progression system

Sydney, Australia – July 1, 2015 – Today, Ubisoft® and Blue Byte® celebrate midyear with a brand new in-game seasonal event for The Settlers® Online. This special also gives players renewed access to rare items that were only available during previous seasonal events. A new PvP leaderboard enables players to compete with each other in three different ranking types.

During the next three weeks, former event resources can be converted in the Provision House into tokens. Those tokens allow players to purchase popular buffs, specialists or buildings from previous events that aren’t otherwise available.

Leaderboards give the player’s rank in terms of efficiency (a player’s won/lost unit ratio), average time (needed for all Expeditions maps a user has played), and fastest time (fastest finished Expedition map). The Water Castle is also given to PvP players as a reward, providing a visualization of experience status. Upgrades of the Water Castle are unlocked with every second increasing PvP level.

Players are invited to view the newest Blue Byte Backstage Episode, offering a preview of the seasonal event and additional PvP content, online

DIABLO®’S ETERNAL CONFLICT RAGES ON IN HEROES OF THE STORM™

DIABLO®’S ETERNAL CONFLICT RAGES ON IN HEROES OF THE STORM

The Eternal Conflict is an extended multiweek event that brings epic new Heroes, Battlegrounds, and more to Blizzard’s free-to-play team brawler

The Butcher and other legendary characters from Diablo® III enter the Nexus to continue the war over the High Heavens and the Burning Hells

SYDNEY, Australia—July 1, 2015—Since the Nexus portal opened on June 3, millions of players around the world have stormed the battlegrounds as powerful heroes of light, menacing agents of darkness, egg-laying baby amphibians, and stage-diving tauren. Now, Heroes of the Storm invites players to take sides in a war that has been waged between demons and angels since time immemorial—the Eternal Conflict!

The Eternal Conflict is an epic, multiweek in-game event that expands Heroes of the Storm into a whole new realm. In addition to bolstering the game’s playable roster of Heroes with three new characters from the Diablo® universe, the war between immortals heralds a variety of Diablo-themed character skins and mounts and opens the gates to two thrilling new Battlegrounds, starting with the Battlefield of Eternity. During the event, players should also be on the lookout for those infamous battlefield scavengers, the Treasure Goblins. Heroes who manage to track down these thieving creatures and eliminate them before a match will receive an in-game gold reward for their efforts.

“We’re excited to bring the world of Diablo deeper into the Nexus and introduce our first Battleground based on an existing universe,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “Players are in for a hellishly good time with the Butcher and other Heroes on the Battlefield of Eternity, and we can’t wait to add more Diablo-themed content to Heroes of the Storm as the Eternal Conflict wages on.”

Conquer the Battlefield of Eternity

Taking place at the shifting borderland between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, the Battlefield of Eternity is the first Heroes of the Storm Battleground located within one of Blizzard’s established universes. As agents of supreme forces fighting for the fate of all creation, heroes will need to defend their core and attack the enemy while supporting their mighty Immortal, a massive angel—or demon—duking it out against their counterpart in the centre of the map. Available in-game starting today, this Battleground features unique themed mercenaries such as Fallen shaman and Khazra impalers with Battleground-specific powers.

Master a Host of New Heroes

The forces of light and darkness will stop at nothing to emerge victorious, so they’re sending their most capable heroes into the Nexus. Johanna, the heavily armored Crusader, has established herself as one of the Nexus’s most stalwart Warriors, but today she faces a familiar foe—a bloodthirsty demon known as The Butcher. Despite his formidable bulk, the Butcher is a damage-dealing melee Assassin who gains strength by gathering “fresh meat” from the remains of his fallen enemies. The Butcher’s Brand ability debuffs enemies so that he gains life with each attack, and he can also bring Lambs to the Slaughter, chaining his hapless victims to a post for the four longest seconds of their puny lives.

Leoric, the Mad King of Khanduras—best known to Diablo players as the Skeleton King—will be the next Warrior to enter the Nexus in the weeks ahead. Notoriously bad at staying dead, whenever Leoric is put down he will rise as a wraith to continue haunting his enemies. In this ghostly form, his attacks slow his enemies and accelerate his return to the mortal realm—until he eventually reforms at the location of his wraith.

Leoric will eventually have to face the next nephalem to heed the Nexus’s call—the Monk. The Monk is a mobile, versatile melee Support hero who can heal allies and choose between two hero-defining Traits to fulfill the needs of his team. Stay tuned to www.heroesofthestorm.com for more details on the Monk and other aspects of the Eternal Conflict in the weeks ahead.

What in the Burning Hells Is Heroes of the Storm?

Players can choose from dozens of Blizzard heroes and customise them to suit their play style, and then team up with friends to fight across eight dynamic Battlegrounds—with more heroes and Battlegrounds on the way. The game features a variety of gameplay modes for players of every skill level, including a Versus A.I. mode, in which players face computer-controlled opponents, and highly competitive draft-style ranked play.
