Mirrors-Edge-Catalyst-screenshot-(17)

In case you haven’t been paying attention to your release dates, then you may not have noticed that February 23, 2016 was going to be a loaded release date with a number of big name titles being released. As such Gust and Koei Tecmo have chosen to release a comparison trailer showing off how the two different versions of Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will look when it is released in Japan on November 19th. The video mostly features combat footage and starts out with a boss battle but roughly halfway through the comparisons begin with the only version not shown being the PS3 version.

Nether Comes Back From The Grave as Nether: Resurrected

Nether Comes Back From The Grave as Nether: Resurrected

Fast-Paced Urban Survival Game Celebrates Its Rebirth with the Return of its Creators and A Special Sale Price

CHICAGO – October 30, 2015 – After being abruptly and unjustly laid to rest, first-person massively multiplayer online (MMO) survival game Nether has risen from the grave as Nether: Resurrected thanks to the return of one of its creators, Phosphor Games. The Resurrected version is now available with new features and key changes, including adding single-player mode, removal of all micro-transactions and a back-end roll back so that all that is needed is Steam to play the game. The game will initially release with single-player only, but Phosphor will “unlock” full multiplayer within days, via play-hosted servers so the community has complete control over the game. Additionally, to celebrate its rise from the dead, Nether: Resurrected is available on PC for $2.99 during the Steam Halloween Sale.

Passionate about the unrealized potential of Nether, original developer and key creator Phosphor Games was able to regain creative control of this acclaimed franchise and now has final say on the creative direction of the game from this point forward. All former players can update their previous builds for free on Steam and start playing again instantly. What’s more, the game can never be taken away from them again!

“When we first launched Nether we received an enormous amount of support from the community and when the game met an untimely stop we felt that it was our duty to try and bring it back for the fans,” said Chip Sineni, Director at Phosphor Games. “We look forward to giving Nether fans the game they enjoyed while also providing them and new players with improved gameplay and a slew of upcoming features like modding support, for an even richer game.”

Nether: Resurrected is a fast-paced survival game that forces you to make quick life-saving decisions in an unforgiving environment. In this post-apocalyptic urban world, death is waiting around every corner, at the top of high-rise buildings, and in the grasp of powerful teleporting creatures known as Nethers. These creatures and the other players are real challenges to overcome, requiring tactical gameplay, awareness, stealth and cooperation. To navigate this high-tension environment, players must use skill and cunning in order to scavenge, trade, craft or loot for food, weapons, supplies, and other resources necessary to stay alive in a desolate and dangerous city. Team up with other survivors and take advantage of group play, as a tribe, to complete treacherous world objectives, or play as a lone wolf in an attempt to endure the hostile environment. In the end players must decide whether to Prey or Pray.
