Gyldenmist Returns — Loot, Fight, and Survive in Mistfall Hunter BETA 3 Today

0

Fresh Hunts Await — Customize your Gyldhunter, Forge Alliances at the Camp, Master the Blasphemer’s power, and rise against the new Mist Lord

[September 15, 2025] – Bellring Games has officially unleashed the next evolution of its dark fantasy action extraction RPG with Mistfall Hunter as BETA 3 goes live today at 6:00 PM PT. Registered players can already pre-install the game on Steam. Step into the new Camp to gear up and forge alliances, explore the dark powers of the Blasphemer Seer path, and take on the terrifying Mist Lord General Harald. BETA 3 also debuts character customization with female variants for all core classes, answering one of the community’s top requests. Solo and Trio modes return as well, now enhanced with two distinct difficulty options—Normal and Chaos.

What’s New in BETA 3:

  • The Camp – A New Hub for Preparation, Lore, and Connection: The Camp is now the first place Gyldhunters see when they enter the world. This explorable hub area blends quiet moments of preparation with new layers of storytelling. Here, you’ll meet Dew, the mysterious goddess who guides your journey, and interact with new NPCs that offer quests, gear upgrades, auctions, and essential services. Invite friends, form parties, and strategize before calling upon Soekja to summon the boat that will carry you into the Gyldenmist.
  • New Class Path, Blasphemer Seers: The once-divine Seers now splinter. While some remain faithful, others walk a new path. Blasphemer Seers reject the Goddess of Light and channel their suffering into brutal close-quarters combat. Wielding maces infused with elemental devastation, they unleash a Special State that fuels explosive burst damage and savage flanking strikes. It’s a violent rebuke of divinity—and a deadly asset in the right hands.
  • New Boss: General Harald: Prepare for an unforgettable boss encounter – General Harald, former hero of Brandrgarde. Once a revered commander, his soul was lost in a desperate experiment to stop the Gyldenmist. Now, twisted by madness and power, Harald guards the ruins as a relentless executioner. Only the most fearless Gyldhunters will survive him—and claim the treasures he protects.
  • Playable Female Characters + Customization Debut: The female versions of all five core classes—Sorcerer, Black Arrow, Shadowstrix, Mercenary, and Seer—are now fully playable. Alongside this long-awaited feature, BETA 3 introduces the first wave of character customization, giving players more freedom to define their identity in the Age of Corrosion.
  • Expanded Extraction Options: Beyond looting the Soul of Return from the Returner Woodling, Gyldhunters can now use fixed exits for extraction, each with unique constraints. Adapt your strategy and choose the best escape route for every hunt.
  • Refined Stamina System: The Stamina System has been reworked to better balance fast-paced action with tactical depth. Penalties have been eased with a shorter Weakened duration, faster recovery, uninterrupted regeneration under attack, keeping combat fluid while preserving its strategic edge.

In Mistfall Hunter, enter a world scarred by the war between the Gods and the Outer Gods, the Gyldenmist—born from divine blood—spreads madness and corruption across the land. Civilization has fallen, yet hope lingers through Dew, a fragment of the Fate Goddess’s soul who grants immortal flesh to fallen heroes. In BETA 3, become one of these resurrected warriors and return to brave the Gyldenmist, battling monstrous creatures and rival players in search of powerful gear and long-forgotten truths.

Mistfall Hunter Key Features:

  • FIGHT – Immerse yourself in smooth, third-person gameplay and fast-paced combat. Select your player class and then utilize both magic and steel to customize your combat style. Players can switch weapons during battles to adapt to various enemies. You can even team up with friends to execute surprising combos to secure victory over any who may challenge your greatness.
  • LOOT – There are rich treasures in the ruins guarded by the Corroded, or even terrifying Mist Lord. Fight these powerful creatures for spoils or take the quicker route by hunting down and looting other Gyldhunters. Just be careful. If you die, you lose everything.
  • EXTRACT – To successfully escape from the ruins players need to locate a rare monster called “Returner Woodling”. Defeating it grants an item called “Soul of Return”. With this item in hand players can create their path home. Yet the Gyldenmist conceals more than one way out.

Mistfall Hunter is coming to Steam, Xbox, and Microsoft Store. Eager to face the Gyldenmist again? Join the BETA 3 on Steam, wishlist Mistfall Hunter.

NICOSIA, CyprusSept. 15, 2025 – CRITICAL REFLEX is excited to announce that TROLEU, independent developer andrground’s chaotic first-person action game where you rule your bus with an iron fist, is out now on Steam for $7.99 after a 20% launch discount (Standard Price $9.99)! Feel free to fling people at them, though – it’s your trolley after all.

TROLEU launches today with multiple routes featuring unique mechanics to master, from the suburbs to the beach to the ocean depths and beyond, as well as special twists during Night Shift mode! Dragonkin: The Banished: A Fourth Playable Hero, a New Environment, and an Even Richer Endgame

0

Lesquin, France, September 15, 2025 – NACON and Eko Software are pleased to announce the release of the second major update for Dragonkin: The Banished, the fantasy medieval Hack ’n’ Slash currently available in Early Access on PC. Available tomorrow, the 16th of September, this new update introduces a brand-new character, an unexplored environment, expanded endgame mechanics, and many other additions inspired both by community feedback and the developers’ vision.

Dragonkin: The Banished is already available in Early Access on Steam and will also launch on consoles at its final release.

A richer endgame and formidable enemies
In order to satisfy both current players and genre enthusiasts, this update significantly expands the endgame with the introduction of new Hunt missions in the Erde-Nor region, including a showdown against the Red Dragon Lord. Chaos Hunts now offer more depth thanks to the new Draconic Tarot system, which lets players influence the conditions of their expeditions with customizable buffs and debuffs. Another major addition is the arrival of a new category of enemies: Champions. Stronger and more challenging to defeat, they enrich combat with fresh mechanics- along with rewards worthy of the effort.

Four playable classes
To give players even more options, the Tracker is now playable and brings her own unique gameplay. This new class will appeal to players seeking dynamism: halfway between an archer and an assassin, she favors playstyles based on anticipation, speed, and decisive combos. Her signature ability is Targeting, a unique skill that allows her to tag enemies and hunt them down.

Since Hack ’n’ Slash fans love customizing their characters, two new abilities have also been added to each of the other classes, further expanding gameplay possibilities. The Knight gains versatility with a ranged basic attack and a defensive skill that heals allies. The Oracle gains new powers that allow her to control distance against enemies or create openings in combat. As for the Barbarian, he now benefits from stronger defensive options. His new basic skill gives him more ranged flexibility, enabling effective mid-range builds.

Explore the volcanic lands of Erde-Nor
In-game content has grown considerably. The arid Erde-Nor region is now open to players, featuring four new maps and a dungeon. This environment promises thrilling battles against the fierce creatures that inhabit it. Among them is the Wyvern, an ancient scorpion transformed by the absorption of Dragon Blood, which will prove a formidable opponent.

A better experience for all players
To better welcome new players, the game’s introduction and Prologue have been completely reworked to deliver a more engaging and fast-paced start to the adventure. The highly requested Loot Filter is now available, letting players automatically sort items according to their preferences. Another awaited feature has also been added: the Death Recap, which allows players to analyse mistakes by reviewing the final seconds before their last fall. Many quality-of-life and interface improvements have also been made to enhance the overall experience.

Finally, Dragonkin is offering a new free cosmetic DLC: Founder Pack 3, now available on Steam.

In Dragonkin: The Banished, players embody one of three available dragon hunters with the objective of freeing humanity from the invading draconic forces. To meet this challenge, the game offers deep theory crafting through various character enhancement mechanics, giving enthusiasts endless build possibilities. Players develop their hero’s abilities through a unique skill system called the Ancestral Grid by associating fragments obtained during their adventure. They also benefit from the City of Montescail, a true hub that allows them to implement their strategy thanks to numerous services. Accompanied by their faithful dragonling, they discover an intriguing story as well as an endgame rich in activities and especially epic battles.

Dragonkin: The Banished is already available in Early Access on Steam and will be available on consoles for its full release.
