The post-apocalyptic PvPvE MMO shooter’s PC Open Beta sets sights for October 2025 ahead of official launch later this year

BELGRADE, Serbia — Sept. 15, 2025 — GFA Games has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for PIONER, the studio’s upcoming post-apocalyptic MMO shooter. The trailer highlights a mix of story-driven missions and competitive PvP encounters, while showing off the distinctive atmosphere and striking environments of Tartarus Island. Designed to capture both the intensity of combat and the atmosphere of its ruined world, the trailer offers a fresh glimpse into what awaits in PIONER.

Along with the new gameplay footage, GFA Games has confirmed that the PC Open Beta for PIONER will be available this October. This marks another key milestone in the game’s development, following the closed testing phase that took place in recent weeks, allowing the developers to gather valuable feedback.

PIONER is a post-apocalyptic MMO shooter set on the mysterious Soviet-era island of Tartarus, offering a vast open world spanning over 50 square kilometers. Resident Evil Requiem made a surprise appearance during today’s Nintendo Direct to announce that Resident Evil Requiem will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 starting February 27, 2026. The announcement came with a brand-new story trailer and brought players deeper into the twisted web of horror awaiting Grace Ashcroft as she investigates the Wrenwood Hotel including a glimpse of new antagonists, weapons, and locations players will encounter.

Set approximately 30 years after the outbreak in Raccoon City, Resident Evil Requiem follows Grace on a new case where the young FBI analyst must escape from the horrors surrounding her and face the tragic memories surrounding the death of her mother, Alyssa Ashcroft. The remake of one of the most beloved titles in the Japanese horror series FATAL FRAME (Project Zero) is schedule for release early 2026!

FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE is a full remake of the second game in the horror series which was originally released in 2003 for PlayStation®2 as FATAL FRAME/Project Zero II: Crimson Butterfly, one of the most acclaimed games from the FATAL FRAME (Project Zero) series.This classic Japanese horror title, beloved by fans worldwide, follows twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura as they visit a stream, guided by their childhood memories. Whilst Mio reminisces about the past, her older sister Mayu is drawn to a crimson-coloured butterfly, leading her to a mysterious village that seems non-existent.

In this village of never-ending night, the twins are hunted by vengeful spirits as they flee their mysterious ritual. Separated from her sister, Mio attempts to find Mayu and escape, armed only with the Camera Obscura, a device that captures and seals away the impossible. Unbeknownst to her, Mio’s actions will involuntarily reproduce the past and lead her to the deepest reaches of the village, where she will uncover the truth behind the “forbidden ritual that must never be witnessed”.

FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE will feature a complete overhaul of the original game, including graphics and audio enhancements, as well as improvements to core gameplay systems and controls. The Camera Obscura, a key mechanism in the series, will offer fans a richer and captivating gameplay experience both during exploration and combat. The gameis currently in development and is scheduled for release early 2026 on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam®. The game will include voices in Japanese with texts in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Released on 17^th January this year, DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS is a new and deeper interpretation of the traditional Three Kingdoms narrative, in which players take on the role of a nameless hero as they attempt to restore peace on the most realistic battlefields with the largest number of on-screen soldiers in the history of the DYNASTY WARRIORS series. Heartopia features six core hobbies for players to wind down with – Fishing, Gardening, Cat Care, Bug Catching, Birdwatching, and Cooking. Exploring the game’s gorgeous and seamless open world, players will unlock new entries in their encyclopedia, improving the rewards gained when taking part in their chosen hobbies.

The brand new Heartopia gameplay video shows off the serene atmosphere and relaxing vibes of the game, as the player equips their umbrella to embark on a chill rainy day around town. Filmed in the style of a vlog, it shows the player indulging in some retail therapy at the various shops around town, playing with their pet cat and dog, and cooking up a delicious meal for their friends.

Heartopia will also be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 in Japan from 25-28 September, with events running at the booth such as a cosplay contest with cash prizes and a Heartopia plushy raffle.
