Multiplayer Bluffing game Cut That Wire amasses over 50,000 wishlists since Steam Page launch

Victim, Engineer or Imposter – Deception Decides Your Fate

Bangkok, Thailand, September 16th, 2025 – Small independent developer Waka Studio has announced today that their latest indie title Cut That Wire, a multiplayer bluffing and deception party game, has already racked up 50,000 wishlists after launching their Steam page on September 4th! Play together with friends to deactivate bombs strapped to your chest, whilst working out who is secretly the imposter conniving against you!

In Cut That Wire, you’re strapped to a bomb in a room with three others where one is secretly the imposter. Every ally could save you or seal your fate. Victims must unmask the traitor, whilst the imposter bluffs, deceives and manipulates to survive. Each round cranks up the pressure with “Big Bluff” mini-games: sketch from prompts in ‘Big Bluff Drawing’, recall details in ‘Big Bluff Picture’, or swap cards in ‘Big Bluff Deck’ – while the imposter scrambles to stay convincing with mismatched information.

When the mini-games end, the real danger begins. After each game, players vote on who must cut a wire, then that chosen player must flip a coin to decide if they are cutting their own or someone else’s wire. Only the Engineer, a victim with a unique power, knows the one safe choice, while the imposter pushes the group towards fatal mistakes. With the bomb’s timer always ticking, every word and every glance could mean survival… or detonation.

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Cut That Wire has surpassed 50,000 wishlists – honestly, it’s more than we ever imagined,” said Pisorn and Jirawat Chungviwatanant at Waka Studio. “As a very small team, every wishlist feels like a huge vote of confidence in our work. Seeing so many players excited for our game is both surprising and incredibly motivating!”

Comprehensive Free-to-play Extraction Shooter Experience

Full Release Features:

  • Five Distinct Maps: Farm, Valley, Armory, TV Station, and Northridge—each enhanced by a dynamic weather system that cycles through sunshine, rain, and fog, with the possibility of extreme storms.
  • A Variety of Game Modes: including Normal, Lockdown, Forbidden at various difficulty levels— alongside highly requested Solo Mode and other special events.
  • Complete Trophy Room: Expanded with new spaces like the Intelligence Department, Living Area, and Workbench. A new progression and crafting system allows powerful rare items such as red ammos to be created here.
  • New Weapons and Accessories: PP19, CZ807, and AN94 – join the arsenal alongside 40 new tactical accessories, adding to the existing 69 weapons and 881 accessories.
  • Farm Map Expansion: New areas including the Grain Trading Zone and Stables add tactical variety.
  • New Tactical Items: Experimental Physique Enhancing Pill and Battlefield First Aid Kit Set give players more options in surviving the battlefield.
  • Supply Station: Certain supplies are now available for purchase from supply stations on maps, giving players more tools to sustain combat in raids.

A Commitment to Fair Play

With its full release on Steam, Arena Breakout: Infinite reinforces its pledge to deliver a balanced and fair experience for all players. This includes one of the strongest anti-cheat systems in the genre and a slate of changes directly addressing community feedback:

  • Re-balancing the availability of high-tier items by removing certain high-tier ammos and gear from the market
  • Making the largest secure cases obtainable through in-game missions
  • Removing the ability to purchase in-game currency (Koen) with real money

These adjustments ensure Arena Breakout: Infinite remains one of the fairest and most rewarding free-to-play extraction shooters available.

Arena Breakout: Infinite is a high-stakes tactical extraction shooter where every decision matters. Survive intense firefights, scavenge valuable loot, and escape alive—or lose everything. With stunningly realistic visuals, true-to-life sound design, and unforgiving PvPvE combat, each raid is a gamble between glory and ruin.

Arena Breakout: Infinite is now available free-to-play on Steam and Epic Games Store. For the latest updates, visit the official website and follow Arena Breakout: Infinite on social media.
