A couple of weeks ago acttil announced that Ray Gigant would be released in North America and Europe sometime in May and now they have narrowed down an exact release date. For those who haven’t been following the game, Ray Gigant is set in the not-too-distant future where Earth’s major cities have been ravaged by giant, terrifying creatures known as Gigants. Across the globe, military forces from every nation attempted to counter the attacks but, to their horror, failed miserably.

In a twist of fate, it was reported that a boy named Ichiya Amakaze defeated a Gigant. The boy defeated the Gigants using a mysterious power called the Yorigami. This victory was short-lived, however. Ichiya lost control of his power and tragically destroyed the city he tried so hard to protect. After this fateful experience, he fell unconscious. Ichiya was then detained and sent to a safe location where his fate would soon unfold…

Siren Visual’s ‘Chihayafuru’ Box Set Has Disappeared From Their Website

Siren Visual announced in early March that they would be releasing a Chihayafuru box set. It was given a broad release window of April 2016. Siren Visual has just removed the page for this release from their website. The announcement on their home page is still there, but the link included in that announcement no longer goes to the product page. Online retailers had yet to list this release on their websites, and it now appears as if the release has been delayed indefinitely.

Both seasons were to be featured across eight discs in a slipcase box. All episodes would have been featured with Japanese audio and English subtitles on DVD. It had a suggested retail price of $49.95 AUD (Australian dollars).

‘Sym-Bionic Titan’ Is Out This Week From Madman Entertainment

Madman Entertainment is releasing the 2010-2011 Cartoon Network animated series Sym-Bionic Titan on DVD in Australia this week. It is officially scheduled for release this Wednesday, the 20th of April. Madman provided a brief description of the series: “Ever feel like you’re from another planet? Then you know exactly what it is like for Ilana, Lance and Octus as they try to fit in as teenagers on Planet Earth.”

The series ran for twenty 22-minute episodes. It was created by Genndy Tartakovsky, who has worked on Samurai Jack, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Hotel Transylvania. Cartoon Network chose not to renew the series for a second season because it lacked merchandising opportunities.

Sym-Bionic Titan has yet to be released on home video in North America. Madman Entertainment’s release is labeling the release as ‘Season 1’, however it should be noted that they have followed this practice before with series that only lasted for a single season. It can be pre-ordered here for $34.95 AUD (Australian Dollars).

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness Introduce the Kingdoms of Resulia and Langdauq

Star-Ocean-Integrity-and-Faithlessness-screenshot-042

Square Enix has released a couple of new English trailers for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness and these two videos focus on introducing the Kingdoms of Resulia and Langdauq on Planet Faykreed as well as providing an overview for each of the kingdoms:

Kingdom of Resulia

Resulia is a vibrant kingdom that represents everything great about the Vestielian continent. Recently, however, it has been wracked by threats, including cursed beasts and a fiendish group of bandits named Eitalon. This upheaval plaguing Resulia is one reason Fidel and his companions embark on their journey; they wish to restore balance to this once productive and safe nation.

Kingdom of Langdauq

Langdauq has prospered under the rule of its matriarchs, or Venerable Mothers, the current of which is Malvenaec. Not only is she a fair leader, but she also knows how to sling a spell or two, and as a member of the ruling family, she has access to exclusive signets that are passed down from generation to generation via a sacred rite of passage. Thanks in part to this system, the nation has developed into a signeturgical power. Though Langdauq could easily abuse its proficiency in the signeturgical arts for political gain, it instead has forged an alliance with Resulia to provide it with military aid.

You can check out the videos below and as for the game itself, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is set to be released on the PlayStation 4 in North America on June 28th and on July 1st in Europe though if you can’t wait, it will be released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan on April 28th.

More Divine Prison Tower: Mary Skelter Characters Revealed

Divine-Prison-Tower-Mary-Skelter-screenshot-(19)

Compile Heart has updated the official website for Divine Prison Tower: Mary Skelter and with it comes a few new details for the upcoming PS Vita dungeon crawler. Three new characters have been revealed and their names all reference various famous fairy tale heroines. The first girl is named Thumbelina and is the eldest of the three sisters that are part of the Chishiki Girls Squad. Being strict she often scolds Jack and has a hard time praising him.

Snow White is the middle of the three sisters in the group and she is kind and gentle to those she comes across, including Jack who she often tries to help out despite her clumsy nature. Finally the youngest of the three sisters is Sleeping Beauty. She often behaves oddly and due to her aimless nature she often acts strangely towards Jack and considering she rarely ever speaks, she is something of a mystery.
