New Endgame Content and a Free Companion Robot For All Players

The Cybernetic Alliance update features:

  • Companions: Flavius, one of the main story characters in Skyforge, has realized the significant benefit his autonomous robotic multi-tools provide. With that in mind, he’s gotten to work on supplying the players with a cybernetic companion of their very own!
  • Two new modules: New content will allow players to upgrade their free robot companion! The first will enable your mechanical comrade to revive its owner. The other will have your companion collect all loot following a fights completion!
  • Akonita’s Avatar End Game content: Face off against the Avatar of the Akonita and practice your skills in a holographic battle against her as she prepares to make a personal appearance during a future Invasion.
  • Equipment Refinement: The system related to the improvement of Boosters for the Main, Additional, and Ring slots will be undergoing an overhaul.
  • Class Balancing: Players can expect beneficial changes to talents or skills of the Archer, Witch, Slayer, Monk, and others! The absolute goal of these changes is to allow a much more diverse range of classes within a single group and, at the same time, make all DPS classes completely viable for PvE encounters.
  • D2 Distortion: This Distortion is endgame content and will pit players up against three bosses simultaneously, requiring the group to split up to manage each boss in small separated sectors.

Brighton-based studio PaperSeven reveals story-driven adventure game as their first major release

Brighton-based independent studio PaperSeven today announced a new story-driven adventure game, Blackwood Crossing, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2016. The team at PaperSeven developing the game is made up of former Disney Black Rock Studio developers, as well as Oliver Reid-Smith, writer of The Room.

Blackwood Crossing is a story-driven first-person adventure game exploring the relationship between Scarlett and Finn, orphaned siblings growing apart as Scarlett is coming of age and leaving childhood behind. When they cross paths with a mysterious figure, a seemingly ordinary train ride evolves into a magical story of life, love and loss.

“This is our first original game since forming PaperSeven and we are immensely proud to be announcing it” said Alice Guy, co-founder of PaperSeven. “There’s been some fantastic narrative adventure games coming out in recent times – we’re hoping to take a place at this table whilst offering something different to what’s come before. Blackwood Crossing is evidence of our desire to explore experiences with depth and meaning, and create characters that challenge the often clichéd gaming landscape.”

WWE 2K17 Revealed, Features Bill Goldberg as a Pre-Order Bonus

WWE and 2K Games have announced some news that many fans were expecting would come eventually and that is that WWE 2K17 will be released sometime in October 2016. What comes as something of a surprise is that the company is choosing to keep the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game alive while bringing the title to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as most would expect.

Something that might be a bit more surprising is the fact that the big billing for WWE 2K17 is that Bill Goldberg will be returning to the roster. Those who pre-order the game will be given both a WCW and WWE version of Goldberg when the game is released. To go along with this announcement the company has released a pre-order trailer highlighting Goldberg and you can check it out below.

Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 6 Arrives on June 7th and Includes Some Community Guests

If you’ve been following the Minecraft: Story Mode series, you should know that not only has the core storyline concluded but with the way the fifth episode left off, the rest of the series will be consisting of new one-off episodes following the adventures of Jesse and the group. Telltale Games has been quiet about what to expect in the first of the newly announced episodes but that changed today.

The company has announced that they plan on releasing Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 6 ‘A Portal to Mystery’ on June 7th and in it Jesse and crew land themselves in another strange new world – one completely overrun by zombies. With a timely invitation to take refuge in a spooky mansion, they find themselves thrown into a thrilling mystery alongside famous members of the Minecraft community. Season 1 box set, PLUS the first 3 episodes of season 2 

SYDNEY, Australia, June 1, 2016 – Sony Computer Entertainment Australia (SCE Aust.) announced today that POWERS, the PlayStation®Original series from Sony Pictures Television, is available now on PlayStation™Network (PSN℠) in Australia. POWERS is co-created and executive produced by acclaimed Marvel® writer Brian Michael Bendis and helmed by showrunner and respected genre writer and executive producer Remi Aubuchon (Falling Skies).

All episodes of season 1 and the first three episodes of season 2 launched today at 5:01 AM AEST on PSN, with subsequent episodes of season 2 releasing each week. The 10-episode season will be available at no extra cost for PlayStation®Plus (PS Plus) members*.

Sydney, Australia – June 1, 2016 – 2K today announced legendary WCW® and WWE® star Bill Goldberg will make his virtual return in WWE® 2K17, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise. Best known for his unprecedented 173-0 singles competition win streak in WCW from 1997 to 1998, Goldberg will appear in WWE 2K17 through two playable characters representing his WCW and WWE personas. The playable characters, along with two playable arenas – WCW Monday Nitro and Halloween Havoc – will be available on launch day for those who pre-order the game at participating retailers for the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems, as well as Xbox One and Xbox 360. WWE 2K17 is currently scheduled for worldwide release in October 2016.

In 1998, as a result of his in-ring success and growing popularity, WCW began counting Goldberg’s consecutive wins on television. In addition, his popular catchphrase, “Who’s Next?” quickly caught on with fans and in part defined his career.

Following his WWE retirement in 2004, Goldberg appeared in a number of films, including The Longest Yard and Universal Soldier: The Return. He also remained a national television fixture, joining the ninth season cast of the popular NBC reality series, The Celebrity Apprentice, and serving as host of Garage Mahal for two seasons on DIY Network. In addition to his film and television endeavors, Goldberg served as a color commentator for several mixed martial arts promotions and developed his own podcast, Who’s Next with Goldberg, via PodcastOne. Yomawari: Night Alone Launching in Late October for PS Vita and PC

NIS America has announced that they are planning on bringing Yomawari: Night Alone to North America on October 25th and to Europe on October 28th and that it will be arriving not only for the PlayStation Vita, but on the PC as well on that date.

The company also revealed that those who opt to pick up the $39.99 retail release of Yomawari: Night Alone will be given not only the game, but also htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary in a package deal. Those who are interested in more physical goods will want to turn towards the $49.99 limited edition that will offer the game’s soundtrack, two art books, and a collector’s box to go along with the standard retail release. Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator Story Mode Previewed in New Trailer

With Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator set to be released next week in North America and a few days after in Europe, Arc System Works has released their “Final Trailer” for the upcoming revised fighting game. The focus of this two and a half minute video is on the game’s story mode and some of the new scenes that will be playing out.

The video contains English subtitles so you can check it out without being too lost unless you haven’t been following the series in any form of course. Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator is currently set to be released in North America by Aksys Games on June 7th and in Europe on June 10th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
