Visual Novel Developer Frontwing’s New Title “Corona Blossom Vol.1” Released On Steam

Visual Novel Developer Frontwing’s New Title “Corona Blossom Vol.1” Released On Steam

Tokyo, Japan – July 28, 2016 “Corona Blossom Vol.1 Gift From the Galaxy”, visual novel developer Frontwing’s newest project, has been released on Steam.  The Steam store page for the game can be accessed at the following URL: http://store.steampowered.com/app/496260

“Corona Blossom” is a comedic visual novel series set to be released in three parts. “Gift From the Galaxy” is the first volume and retails for $10 USD, but is on sale for 10% off during the first week following launch.  An 18+ patch to add adult content to the game is also available for $10 USD from DLsite Ecchi: http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/work/=/product_id/RE181536.html

The story of Corona Blossom Vol.1 revolves around a young man named Keiji Osaki, a young man whose relatively quiet life repairing VORKS (heavy-duty industrial robots) at his grandfather’s workshop is turned upside down when he encounters a metallic lifeform attached to a meteorite that fell from the sky.  The game features a colorful cast of characters and a lighthearted tone, with some dramatic elements.

Leading up to the game’s release, Corona Blossom has been very well received, with an Indiegogo campaign achieving over 150% of its goal.  The demo version of Gift From the Galaxy game released last week has also generated extensive positive feedback.

The game’s development staff include character artist nanaca mai, the illustrator for the SD art for the Grisaia series, and Yuhi Nanao, a scenario writer who worked on “Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori” (Hatsumira, or From the Future Undying).

The entire Corona Blossom series is being localized in English by Frontwing’s brand new in-house translation team, the members of which are experienced Japanese to English translators who possess JLPT N1 certification or equivalent. It also features a brand-new system allowing simultaneous display of English and Japanese text during gameplay, as well as language switching at the press of a button.

Make Kamurocho Yours – Yakuza 0 Launches in Australia on 24th January

Make Kamurocho Yours – Yakuza 0 Launches in Australia on 24th January

Release Date Announced for the Prequel to SEGA’s Long-running Crime Drama

Sydney, Australia. – 28th July, 2016 – Behind the decadent glitz and glamour of 1980s Japan lies an underworld of money, sin, and above all else… opportunity. Anything and everything is ripe for the taking, but always remember that more money inexorably leads to more problems. And for Yakuza 0’s two protagonists, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, the problems are just starting. And their problems will become players’ problems when SEGA® of America, Inc.’s gangster drama Yakuza 0 launches in Australia on 24th Jan, 2017 for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system.

Yakuza 0 tells the origin stories of Kazuma Kiryu, the rising Dragon of Dojima, and Goro Majima, before he’s known as the Mad Dog of Shimano, as they fight, hustle, flirt, and dance their way through the seedy underbelly of Japan. Taking place in a chilly but electric Kamurocho, Tokyo in December 1988, Kiryu’s story follows his steady ascension up the ranks of the Dojima yakuza crime family until he gets blamed for a debt collection gone wrong. Kiryu must utilize his cunning and his fists in order to regain his honor and save the reputation of his father figure, Shintaro Kazama. Meanwhile, Goro Majima is running a popular cabaret in Osaka, but he wants more than anything to rejoin the yakuza clan that ousted him. He’ll need to complete a series of impossible tasks set by his bosses, but will these tasks push Majima past the point of no return?

Yakuza 0 Features:

  • The Dragon’s Origins: What lies in a man’s past defines his future, and in this case, we learn a lot about what inspires Kiryu down the paths he takes in the rest of the Yakuza Plus, you don’t get to be called “Dragon” without being able to knock a few heads. Combat styles can be hot-swapped during fights for some of the most intense battles in the Yakuza series to date.
  • Embrace the Mad Dog: For the first time in a numbered game, long-time NPC Goro Majima is playable. With his own fighting style, abilities, and his penchant for turning sleaze into profit, stepping into the role of Yakuza’s most eccentric character will provide some eye-opening insight.
  • The Decadence of the 1980s in Japan: Cash rules everything in the world of Yakuza 0, and in the game, there are a million ways to spend, make, or take money. From cash spilling out of the pockets of gang members you fight to Telephone Clubs, Disco Halls, or even Pocket Circuit car races, there are tons of ways to be a well-to-do gangster.

Yakuza 0 is being localized by SEGA® of America, Inc. and will be released physically and digitally in Australia on 24th Jan, 2017. For more information, please visit: yakuza.sega.com/yakuza0

The Battle for Supremacy Begins in World of Tanks Blitz

The Battle for Supremacy Begins in World of Tanks Blitz

Fight to hold multiple bases and amass points in this exciting new game mode

July 28, 2016 — The game just got fiercer. With the arrival of the new Supremacy mode in World of Tanks Blitz, players have to duke it out to capture and keep a number of bases scattered across their battlefield. Never before seen in the game, expect new battle plans and ways to win emerge as teams vie for Supremacy across several familiar battlegrounds.

The premise of Supremacy is simple. Around each map, there are several bases to capture. Capturing these bases amasses points for a team. The more bases a team controls, the quicker points are accrued for them. To win, players can either reach 1,000 points, or, if destruction is the name of the game, they can just wipe out the opposition to win.

At its heart, Supremacy is a free for all—any Tier V–X vehicle can help your team take victory. However, tactics, teamwork, and preparation are crucial because those scattered bases can’t be held without a solid plan of action.

“We always experiment with in-game activities and try to make the game more interesting for our players,” said Artem Safronov, World of Tanks Blitz Global Publishing Producer. “The new game mode has been made in such a way that any vehicle type can be maximally effective in battle. Supremacy stimulates active battling related to capturing bases and encourages greater game dynamics and teamwork.”

While exploring this new game mode, keep an eye out for the updated Falls Creek map, too. The map has been visually reworked, which means the way in which players tackle their environment has also changed.
