2K Announces John Cena, Sasha Banks and Ultimate Warrior for WWE 2K17; Exclusive E3 Artwork Unveiled

2K today confirmed WWE Superstars John Cena and Sasha Banks, as well as WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior, as the next three roster members in WWE 2K17, the forthcoming release in the flagship WWE video game franchise.

Throughout E3 2016, 2K partnered with WWE portrait artist Rob Schamberger to reveal the three roster additions at the Company’s South Hall booth by painting them on a sizable canvas in a live setting. E3 attendees checked in throughout the show, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, to see if their favorite WWE Superstars and Legends officially joined what’s expected to be a substantial WWE 2K17 playable roster.

A Kansas City native, Schamberger’s portraits of WWE Superstars – both past and present – have made him a sought after staple in the WWE Universe. His unique artwork has raised money for several charities, including the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and is available for sale to the public through WWE Auction (originals) and WWE Shop (shirts and prints). Schamberger is often seen painting live at various WWE events, including WrestleMania® Axxess, SummerSlam® and Monday Night Raw, as well as through the popular WWE weekly painting series on YouTube, Canvas 2 Canvas. Visual Novel Developer Frontwing’s Announces Steam Release Date for Puzzle/Visual Novel Hybrid Game “Purino Party”

Tokyo, Japan – June 17, 2016 Frontwing has just announced the release date for their new game, “Purino Party.” The game is scheduled to be released via Steam on Wednesday, June 23rd, and will retail at $11.99. The Steam store page is already live, and can be viewed at the following URL:

An adult patch for the game will also be offered, as a free download from the “Purino Party” official website by Frontwing. Applying the patch will add adult content to the CGs that can be obtained in the game.

“Purino Party” is classified as a puzzle game, and it is planned to be released exclusively in English for the PC via Steam. The game is described as “an addictive tile-matching game crossed with what Japan does best: visual novels with cute girls you can fall in love with.”

Frontwing’s scenario writer Kazuya serves as the producer on the project. As a scenario writer, Kazuya has previously worked on Frontwing titles “The Fruit of Grisaia” and “Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori” (Hatsumira, or From the Future Undying), but this is his first time in the producer’s chair.
