Warm Lamp Games’ “Beholder” Launches on Steam Today

Warm Lamp Games’ “Beholder” Launches on Steam Today

Siberia, Russia – November 10, 2016 – Warm Lamp Games announces that Beholder (published by Alawar Entertainment) has launched on Steam today. Beholder places you in a hopelessly grim existence where every choice you make can have devastating consequences for your neighbors.

You’ll have many important moral choices to make. The State has entrusted you with a very important job. You’ve been installed as an apartment house manager to keep a close eye (and ear) on its tenants. Spy and eavesdrop on the tenants in your complex, and search their apartments and install bugs while they’re away. Use what you uncover to profile people and report on anyone capable of violating the (many) laws or plotting subversion against the State. It is your choice to decide the fate of everyone’s lives within your influence.

Created in Siberia, Russia, Beholder is heavily inspired by George Orwell’s groundbreaking novel, “1984.” The philosophical narrative of Beholder opens up questions around issues of social and moral values. If you are given the power to destroy privacy, should you follow the orders of the giver or treat those that you spy on the way they deserve?

Beholder Features:

– You decide what happens: Every decision of yours affects the way the story unfolds. The only thing that matters is the choice that you make when interacting with the game characters. Even a minor decision can have a disastrous impact. So, think twice and be wise!

– They aren’t just objects: Every character that you meet in the game has a thoroughly considered personality with their own past and present. Tens of characters create a unique puzzle of relationships where you have to communicate and decide on your further steps.

– The choice is going to be tough: If you are given power to destroy privacy, should you follow the orders of the giver? Or should you treat those that you spy on, the way they deserve? But who decides what is deserved? What if two different people deserve to be saved, but one has to go? Who will you choose? Is there a lesser evil, anyway?

– You don’t know where you’ll end up: Beholder is a game of multiple endings. You will have enough info to consider and decide wisely, but there is always something that you may not be aware of. Well, this is not a beautifully calibrated virtual reality! This is life! And it’s real!

Beholder is available today on Steam PC, Mac, and Linux at:

Beholder Steam Page for $9.99 and supports English, Russian, German, French and Chinese. Beholder will be available at a 20% release discount from November 9 through November 16, 2016

PS4 Pro Provides Heightened Gaming Experiences with Higher-Quality Graphics and Smoother Images

SYDNEY, 10th November, 2016 – Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia (SIE Aust.) today launched PlayStation®4 Pro (PS4™ Pro), a high-end system that supports cutting-edge imaging technology to make games look richer and more detailed than ever before. PS4™ Pro, which supports dynamic 4K gaming and 4K entertainment* is now available with a recommended retail price of AUD $559.95. Blockbuster PS4 games, including Call Of Duty®: Infinite Warfare (Activision), Ratchet & Clank™, The Last of Us™ Remastered, andUncharted™4: A Thief’s End(SIE Worldwide Studios),have been updated to take advantage of PS4 Pro’s increased power, taking the graphics and visual experience to all new heights.

“The launch of PS4 Pro is an immensely exciting moment for PlayStation. Never before have we introduced a new console in the middle of a platform’s lifecycle,” said Jim Ryan, President of SIEE and President of Global Sales & Marketing, SIE “By providing developers with a new way to showcase their creativity, PS4 Pro enables us to prove our commitment to innovation, as well as deliver captivating gameplay experiences for the players.”

PS4 Pro leverages the latest imaging technology by supporting dynamic 4K quality* resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR). The powerful CPU and GPU of PS4 Pro allows developers to create higher-quality games that output dynamic 4K quality* graphics with unprecedented visual precision, or smoother and more stable frame rates. Like all PS4 consoles, the system is also compatible with HDR imaging technology that produces more realistic, strikingly vivid visuals that are truer to the way the human eye naturally sees.

The introduction of PS4 Pro, which sits alongside the standard PS4, will provide consumers with more choice. Users can play every PS4 game on both PS4 Pro and the standard PS4, which was recently released in a slimmer and lighter model at a suggested retail price of AUD $439.95. PlayStation®VR is compatible with both systems.  PS4 Pro and the standard PS4 will also share the same user interface and have access to the same vibrant online community. Users are able to select their console of choice, based on their needs and preferences.

In addition, Netflix on PS4 Pro will receive an update at the system’s launch, enabling users to stream 4K content such as “Narcos Season 2” and “Luke Cage.” Around 600 hours of 4K content are expected to be released on Netflix by the end of the year. YouTube, already one of the largest sources of 4K content, is also receiving an update today to support 4K content on PS4 Pro.

For gamers who own an HDTV that does not support either 4K or HDR, PS4 Pro provides a number of benefits, such as higher or more stable framerates, and enhanced graphics and environments.

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 9, 2016 – Prepare to rule the roost! Ratloop Asia announced today that Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, the sequel to the fan-favorite original Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, is coming soon to Steam. The all-breast meat, action-shooter will feature a full story campaign with upgradeable weapons, hilarious stacking mechanics and more in the new PC player experience that’s distinctly fowl.

Watch it on YouTube HERE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWRi2IasQj8

“After much anticipation and preparation, we are happy to share the news that Rocketbirds 2 is finally coming to Steam,” said Rocketbirds creator, Sian Yue Tan. “After gathering all the community feedback, we’ve gone the extra mile and poured tons of improvements and additions into the PC version that we know you’ll like!”

The “most interesting chicken in the world” is back in his first sequel Rocketbirds 2: Evolution for PC, where Hardboiled Chicken gets entangled in a mysterious and sinister penguin plot in “Part 1: The Cockup.” Meanwhile, the pint sized budgie commandos are forming a strike force of great magnitude in “Part 2: The Rescue”, where players need to rescue and recruit hostages from deep behind enemy lines. Both parts can be played in or out of order, but converge to complete the full Evolution story.

Players will engage in nuanced, side-scrolling, shooter action as they face an assortment of evil penguins, space owls and other fowl creatures while strapping on jetpacks and wielding new, powerful weapons of ‘de-clucktion.’

Key PC features of Rocketbirds 2: Evolution include:

  • A cinematic platforming, action-adventure game with light puzzle elements and Jetpacks found in Part 1: The Cockup
  • Over 100 upgradeable weapons, costumes and stackable characters to unlock in procedurally generated missions in Part 2: The Rescue
  • Part 2 also features 1 – 4 player online / offline / drop-in / drop-out cooperative features and a PvP mini game
  • Original soundtrack by New World Revolution
