With NIS America announcing that they were localizing Birthdays the Beginning so quickly after it was announced to be in development, we have yet to see any English screenshots for the title but that changed today when the company released a small set of images to show off various aspects of the upcoming title.
You see, in Birthdays the Beginning players will be developing a cube shaped world where they will create life as different animals and plants begin to live on the planet. Depending on how you end up crafting the planet various life forms will live there and you can even create an ecosystem that is entirely self-sustaining if you plan properly. Players will be given updates whenever a new animal or plant appears in the world as well as the status of various elements that might want to keep an eye on to keep the planet thriving.
Warface Celebrates Three Years of Action With New Update – ‘Operation Black Shark’
Expansive new co-op mission challenges players to infiltrate and bring down a cyborg-infested skyscraper…
Frankfurt am Main (Germany) October 27, 2016 – In the month that Warface celebrates its third anniversary in North America, Europe, and Turkey, Crytek has announced that an expansive new Special Operation, entitled Black Shark, is coming to the free-to-play online shooter today.
In Operation Black Shark, players infiltrate a gargantuan skyscraper which is being constructed by Blackwood, the military arm of a cabal of supranational corporations. Fighting as part of an elite squad dispatched by Warface – the special-operation forces formed to oppose Blackwood – players must battle hard, smart, and as a team to work their way through each enemy-flooded floor before bringing the tower down. Gamers will take on Blackwood’s finest troops, lead-spitting automatic turrets, and a relentless horde of cyborg warriors in an all-action tower raid that demands players evolve their tactics on the fly. The new Special Operation arrives in a game update today, which also adds new achievements for players to unlock and weapons to use in-game.
Development never stops on Warface, and the game – which marked its third anniversary of action in North America, Europe, and Turkey last Friday – has evolved dramatically since launch. Operation Black Shark arrives in the game’s 37th major game update and today players can enjoy over 50 PvP maps in eight game modes and, counting all variations, use over 400 weapons in battle. In the last twelve months alone, content which has expanded the game has included eight PvP maps and the Anubis and Earth Shaker Special Operations, alongside weapons and skins, including Crysis-inspired Nanosuits. In addition to graphical improvements and gameplay balancing, Warface has also introduced the integration of EasyAntiCheat and FairFight systems to make the battlefield a fairer place for all players and officially supported Warface as an esport through a partnership with ESL – the leading esports event provider – with cash prizes available every week.
Ilya Mamontov, Director of Game Operations, said: “As we celebrate three years of Warface, we’re excited to roll out Operation Black Shark, our latest co-op PvE Special Operation. Warface has come a long way in three years and has grown and changed enormously, guided by player feedback. We’d like to thank our ever-growing community for coming along with us on this journey, and we look forward to continuing to serve them as we add content and evolve the game in the months and years ahead.”

UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION WITH HUDSON MOHAWKE ON WATCH_DOGS® 2 SOUNDTRACK
First Track “Shanghaied” Now Available, Soundtrack Releases November 11
Sydney, Australia — October 27, 2016 —Today, Ubisoft® announced that it has partnered with producer Hudson Mohawke to compose the original soundtrack for its upcoming open world action-adventure game, WATCH_DOGS® 2. The game will be available worldwide for consoles November 15 and on Windows PC November 29.
Hudson has produced music since his early teens and has become the go-to producer for the biggest names in music, including Kanye West, Drake, John Legend, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Pusha T, Tinashe, Frank Ocean and Björk. Stylistically, the WATCH_DOGS 2 soundtrack draws a sound that has become synonymous with Hudson Mohawke, harking back to his earlier work fusing electronics and hip-hop, while hinting toward Hudson’s love of Tomita, John Carpenter and Vangelis.
“Working on this soundtrack was a really exciting and refreshing prospect for me, especially considering the themes in the game are things I’m also passionate about,” said Hudson Mohawke. “When Ubisoft approached me to work alongside them in developing the game’s sounds, I knew I wanted to use the palette of some cult sci-fi soundtracks while also incorporating my own style. It’s been a real learning experience, and even a challenge at some points, but very rewarding in terms of expressing myself creatively and allowing me to reach new audiences with my music without needing a ‘genre’ stamp.”
In WATCH_DOGS 2, players explore the birthplace of the tech revolution as Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker who has fallen victim to ctOS 2.0’s predictive algorithms and accused of a crime he did not commit. In Marcus’ quest to shut down ctOS 2.0 for good, hacking is the ultimate weapon. Players can not only hack into the San Francisco Bay Area’s infrastructure but also every person and any connected device they possess to trigger unpredictable chains of events in this vast open world.
The WATCH_DOGS 2 official soundtrack releases worldwide on November 11.
