NEW SYNTHESIS FEATURES AND PREORDER BONUSES REVEALED FOR ATELIER FIRIS: THE ALCHEMIST AND THE MYSTERIOUS JOURNEY

NEW SYNTHESIS FEATURES AND PREORDER BONUSES REVEALED FOR ATELIER FIRIS: THE ALCHEMIST AND THE MYSTERIOUS JOURNEY

Craft Oversized Items On the Go to Overcome New Obstacles in the Latest Alchemist RPG from the Beloved ‘Atelier’ Series, Headed to PlayStation®4, PlayStation®Vita and Steam®

Hertfordshire, 26th January 2017 – KOEI TECMO Europe today revealed additional details regarding the Synthesis gameplay system and pre-order bonuses for the latest title from the long-running Atelier series, Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey. The game is slated to release on the 10th March 2017 for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system and on Windows PC via Steam.

Synthesis is an integral aspect of each Atelier title, and in turn, each alchemist’s adventure! Throughout her unusual journey, Firis will devise handy new recipes as she explores the vast land, encounters new companions, and discovers new materials. To match her wanderlust lifestyle, Firis’s Atelier takes the form of a portable Atelier Tent that enables her to synthesise wherever she may please. The Atelier Tent can even be personalised with a variety of keepsakes from her adventures, making it feel like her second home!

The Synthesis system in Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey features exciting new additions to suit its newly nomadic nature. For example, Mass Synthesis allows Firis to create large items to overcome obstacles in her path, such as building a bridge to cross a river, or a boat to cruise across a lake. Deciding what to build not only changes the appearance and accessibility of various locations, but can also affect the course of the story! Furthermore, the effectiveness of items can be amplified with the use of special Catalysts, which grant bonuses and provide greater perks to the end result.

Finally, Koei Tecmo revealed today the bonuses available to those who pre-order Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey. Specifically, two adorable costumes which give Firis useful bonuses will be offered with all pre-orders. The Resort Vacation costume increases the chances of finding high quality materials for use in synthesis, whilst the Wonderland outfit decreases the time it takes for synthesis and fast travelling between landmarks!

A batch of new assets was released today offering a first look at the Atelier Tent system and introducing a delightful cast of characters including Angriff Dahlmann, an aged and hearty mercenary, and a set of alchemists; the highly skilled Ren Breitner, the carefree Norbert Classen and the clumsy Dion Maier. A new trailer was also released and can be viewed here.

“Corona Blossom Vol.3 Journey to the Stars” Released On Steam By Visual Novel Developer Frontwing

“Corona Blossom Vol.3 Journey to the Stars” Released On Steam By Visual Novel Developer Frontwing

Tokyo, Japan – January 25, 2017 The conclusion to Frontwing’s Corona Blossom series, “Corona Blossom Vol.3 Journey to the Stars”, has been released on Steam. The Steam store page for the game can be accessed at the following URL: http://store.steampowered.com/app/562480

“Corona Blossom” is a comedic visual novel series told over three episodic volumes. “Journey to the Stars” is the third and final volume and retails for $10 USD, but is on sale for 10% off during the first week following launch. An 18+ patch to add adult content to the game is also available for $10 USD from JAST USA: https://jlist.com/FWNG003

“Journey to the Stars” picks up directly after the shocking revelations at the end of the second volume, “The Truth From Beyond”. In Vol.3, the plan to return R-ne to her home planet is finally put into action, and the series concludes with an intense and moving final sequence. The game also makes use of the e-mote system to bring an unprecedented lifelike quality to the characters.

Corona Blossom Vol.3 experienced a very successful Indiegogo campaign, with almost 800 contributors and over $42,000 raised for the production of physical goods for the game. The campaign is currently in the InDemand phase, and will continue accepting orders until the end of the month: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/corona-blossom-vol-3-journey-to-the-stars-anime-japan/x/14210534#/

The game’s development staff include character artist nanaca mai, the illustrator for the SD art for the Grisaia series, and Yuhi Nanao, a scenario writer who worked on “Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori” (Hatsumira, or From the Future Undying).

The entire Corona Blossom series was localized in English by Frontwing’s experienced in-house translation team, the members of which are proficient Japanese to English translators who possess JLPT N1 certification or equivalent. It also features a brand-new system allowing simultaneous display of English and Japanese text during gameplay, as well as language switching at the press of a button.

Huge Pokemon Bank Update Finally Released

The big Pokemon Bank update has finally arrived allowing trainers to bring forward their Pokemon from past generations to the new titles Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon. For those new to the storage app, Pokemon Bank is a yearly subscription based app specifically for the Nintendo 3DS that acts as a special storage box for your Pokemon, allowing you to transfer Pokemon from X & Y or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to Pokemon Sun & Moon. Of course if you have been playing every game since Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald there have been ways to transfer your Pokemon from each generation onwards.

This Pokemon Bank update also allows players to transfer Pokemon from the Virtual Console versions of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow. So theoretically, any Pokemon you have caught in a main series Pokemon game since the release of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald can be brought into Sun & Moon, however there is an increasing number of hoops to jump through depending on how far back you go.

Because these games often have some compatibility issues between them this new update also brings some new rules about what can be brought forward and what changes will occur. These are important to know specifically if you are into the competitive side of battling. Thanks to reddit user Richasu for compiling most of this information.

  • Breeding non-Alolan forms of Pokémon in Sun/Moon will still cause Pokemon offspring to be the Alolan form. However if you give the non-Alolan parent an Everstone this will not be the case.
  • If you transfer a Pikachu that knows the move Surf to Sun/Moon and evolve it into an Alolan Raichu, it becomes an illegal Pokémon. Pikachu could learn Surf in some older titles by special means.
  • Gengar does not keep the ability Levitate when transferred to Sun/Moon. It’s ability will be changed to Cursed Body.
  • Mews obtained via exploitation of a glitch from Red/Blue/Yellow cannot be transferred via the Poké Bank. However, there is a trick to get around this limitation and it can be found here and here.

  • Transferring the infamous glitch Pokemon MissingNo via the Poké Bank will cause other Pokémon’s names to be shifted around in that particular transfer. So don’t transfer Missingno if you don’t want to mess up your Pokemon. MissingNo will disappear.
  • Pokémon that know moves from Red/Blue/Yellow that are specific to that particular version cannot be transferred from the version that does not offer the particular move. E.g. Charizard with Fly can only be transferred from Pokemon Yellow.
  • Pokémon transferred from Red/Blue/Yellow have their genders randomized.
  • Pokémon transferred from Red/Blue/Yellow have their Natures determined based on a formula that uses a Pokemon’s total experience gained. Use this image below to see what nature you will get. This means you can manipulate a Pokemon’s nature if you wish.
  • Pokémon transferred from Red/Blue/Yellow have their Stat Experience ignored and their Effort Values are set to 0. This means transferred Pokemon will be as if they had never been in a Pokemon battle.
  • Pokémon transferred from Red/Blue/Yellow have 3 of their IV’s maxed out at 31 automatically. Mew will have 5 IV’s maxed out.
  • Transferred Pokémon from Red/Blue/Yellow always have their Hidden Abilities.
  • When transferring Pokémon from Red/Blue/Yellow and the Pokémon has the letter pairings “PK” or “MN” in its name, the pairings will be changed to “P” and “M” respectively.
  • Evolving trade-based-evolution Pokémon that were transferred from Red/Blue/Yellow renders them illegal if their evolved forms did not exist in Red/Blue/Yellow. E.g. Porygon2 or PorygonZ.

As an added bonus, players who use Poke Bank before October of this year will receive a free Mewnium Z, allowing Mew to use a unique Z-move. The first game you transfer a Pokemon to will receive the Mewnium Z. You can only get this item once per Poke Bank account.

There are also in game benefits to bringing transferred Pokemon to certain NPC including a special scene if your bring Solrock or Lunatone transferred to Sun or Moon to Haina Desert and then speak to the old man in a red shirt. There is no doubt this really opens up the games as Pokemon that were never available in Sun & Moon before now can be transferred and bred. Let us know in the comments below if there are any Pokemon that have stayed with you since one of the older games, we’d love to hear your stories.

First-Person Space Survival Multiplayer Experience Hellion Set to Colonize Steam Early Access on February 24th

First-Person Space Survival Multiplayer Experience Hellion Set to Colonize Steam Early Access on February 24th

Survival and Space Piloting Awaits Survivors in the Desolate Wasteland of Hellion

Indie developer Zero Gravity today announced that the countdown for their debut title Hellion has begun, the PC first-person multiplayer space survival game, will enter Steam Early Access on 24th February. Hellion’s open world space survival game pits players against the perils of desolate wastelands in the devastated paradise of the first interstellar colony of humankind. Waking up after a life long journey in a cryopod, players set out on a journey exploring Hellion’s derelict spaceships and ruined outposts, striking a balance between survival and the attempt to uncover what happened to the man-made paradise-turned-into-graveyard of humanity’s hopes.

“We are happy to announce that Hellion will be coming to Steam Early Access this February”, said Marko Smiljanic, Creative Director at Zero Gravity. “This first phase of development allows us to gather feedback from our players so that we can implement the most desired features in the final release and turn Hellion into the ultimate first-person open world experience with realistic player communication, full Newtonian physics and immersive storyline”.

The Hellion Early Access build will offer hand-crafted content with procedurally generated elements that will create a meaningful narrative as well as make the gameplay varied and replayable beyond player interaction. In order to survive, colonists will have to loot and fight for limited life support resources, such as oxygen and food, as well as repair and fuel their deteriorating base station and spaceship. Cooperation with other players, at least temporarily, will be unavoidable in order to run bigger ships and survive in the hostile environment. However, in the Hellion galaxy it’s every man for himself, so betrayal sometimes is the best strategy in surviving the adversities of space and conquering the galaxy.

For this unique multiplayer experience the Zero Gravity team plan to introduce a series of features, including a complex resource gathering system, a detailed crafting system, unique damage and degradation models for systems and equipment, complex maintenance systems for ships, stations and equipment – all of which are fully modular and customizable – and an immersive background story that needs to be explored in order to reveal the truth behind the devastation of Hellion.

Hellion will be available on Steam Early Access on February 24th. For more information, please visit the Hellion Steam Page: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=674415611

ABOUT HELLION

A solar system thousands of lightyears from Earth, Hellion is the destination of the first interstellar colonization mission of the 23rd century. A million colonists, suspended in cryogenic hibernation, wake up a century later and find themselves trapped in a nightmare. Instead of grand habitats and planets waiting to receive new settlers, there is only evidence of devastation and conflict everywhere with ruins, debris fields and empty stations. With no trace of UN officials, corporate representatives, engineers, scientists or law enforcement troops, and a rescue operation over half a century away, colonists turn to scavenging, stealing and outright violence. Others try to live in a more civilized way and begin uncovering the truth behind the largest disaster in human history.

The only places still working as intended are small outposts and shuttle crafts that the colonists wake up in. All systems show signs of extensive wear and without immediate repair will soon run out of air, water and power. To survive, colonists will need to obtain tools and resources elsewhere.

POKÉMON BANK UPDATE NOW LIVE: NEW FEATURES AND COMPATIBILITY WITH POKÉMON SUN AND POKÉMON MOON ADDED!

POKÉMON BANK UPDATE NOW LIVE: NEW FEATURES AND COMPATIBILITY WITH POKÉMON SUN AND POKÉMON MOON ADDED!

Pokémon Bank players can now receive a Mewnium Z and transfer their Pokémon from Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow to their copy of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon

London, 25 January 2017—The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo announced today details for the latest big Pokémon Bank update.

Pokémon Bank, the online service which enables players to withdraw and deposit to and from various Pokémon titles, has received a new update today making it compatible with the latest games Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon*. This means that it is now possible to bring Pokémon that do not natively appear in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon into the games so they can join you in battles and adventures.

This highly anticipated update even allows players to transfer their Pokémon from the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console games Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow into Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. Previously hidden Pokémon parameters from these Virtual Console games like Abilities, Natures, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def will become visible after sending them over to Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. All Pokémon sent this way will have some great individual strengths.

Two new features have been added to the Pokémon Bank in the update, the Pokédex and adventure records. The Pokédex feature will allow players to see information about Pokémon registered in each of the Pokémon series games that have been connected to Pokémon Bank in the National Pokédex. All information for Pokémon registered from past titles will now be available all in one place. The other new feature, Adventure Records, will allow players to look back on their adventures in the Pokémon series. Figures and stats like the number of Pokémon caught or the number of wild Pokémon encountered will be accessible from the saved data from each players previous Pokémon series games registered to Pokémon Bank.

When players deposit Pokémon into Pokémon Bank, they can receive Poké Miles relative to the number of Pokémon they deposit and how long they are deposited for. These Poké Miles can be received as Battle Points, which can be exchanged in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon for various items. This means that players who have already got many Pokémon deposited in their Pokémon Bank accounts from previous games may find themselves getting a great number of Poké Miles!

Finally, players who access Pokémon Bank during 25 Jan – 2 October 2017 will be able to claim a limited-time special Mewnium Z, the Z-Crystal for the Mythical Pokémon Mew, which cannot be obtained through normal gameplay**. By giving Mewnium Z to a Mew which knows the move Psychic, it will be able to use the powerful Z-Move Genesis Supernova.

Pokémon Bank is a subscription service which has an annual membership fee. For more information, including ways to claim the Mewnium Z, please visit Pokemonbank.com/en-gb .

*Pokémon Bank is compatible with the following Pokémon games: Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black 2 Version, Pokémon White 2 Version, Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon and the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow.

**Limited to one per customer
