Focus Home Interactive and Deck13 released a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming action RPG The Surge. The trailer shows protagonist Warren’s first day at Creo where he undergoes painful surgery without anaesthesia to install the necessary grafts to use the exo-suit. Of course, Warren’s day is not getting any better as the robots, the AI, and the employees at Creo have all gone insane. Warren will need to master his freshly installed exo-suit and re-purpose Creo’s industrial tools if he plans on surviving.
The Surge is an action RPG set in a dystopian vision of the future where most of humanity has been reduced to manual labour in exo-suits after environmental collapse nearly destroys Earth. The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows in May 2017.
Madman Entertainment has announced that Makoto Shinkai’s popular film Your Name. will be returning for another run on the big screen in Australia and New Zealand from February 9, 2017. This time, the screenings will be at IMAX cinemas for a limited time. According to Madman, this means that Australia and New Zealand will be the only countries outside of Japan to be showing the film at IMAX cinemas with English subtitles outside of Japan.

Shinya Oda
If you had to practice marksmanship in a country that has a strict firearms ban, where would you go? If you answered with “the arcade,” ding ding ding you’re absolutely correct! Oh, and it just so happens that a certain arcade in Akihabara is home base to one of Japan’s most accomplished shooting game players, Shinya Oda. This pint-sized gaming prodigy is a grandmaster at “Gun About,” so he definitely knows a thing or two about shooting. Spending time with him can help the Phantom Thieves learn some nifty gun skills that can be used in battle, such as the ability to enter a gun-based All-out Attack after a successful ambush with Bullet Hail, scare enemies during negotiation with Warning Shot, and much more!
Ichiko Ohya
When she’s not busy chasing a lead, journalist Ichiko Ohya can be found enjoying a drink (or two or three or four or five) at the Crossroads Bar in Shinjuku. So why would the Phantom Thieves want to work with a pesky reporter? Simply put, they have a special “deal.” The protagonist supplies her with interesting tid-bits about the Thieves, and she’ll write articles about them. The public is going crazy for more news about the mysterious masked group, so why not just let Ichiko give it to them? Besides, having more fame/infamy is great for the team’s street cred. Oh, and she’ll also provide useful abilities like making it harder for the security level to fill during Palace heists.
Chihaya Mifune
It’s ALWAYS smart to see a fortune-teller from time to time, and luckily the Phantom Thieves know a very good one named Chihaya Mifune. Operating out of her modest office (a table) in Shinjuku, the spacey Chihaya will cheerfully use tarot cards to predict the protagonist’s fortune. So how does this help the team? Well by spending time her, she’ll be able to perform special fortune readings that can add useful buffs like increasing the growth rate of a social stat or deepening a bond with a specific confidant.
Yuuki Mishima
What do you do when a high-school classmate figures out that you and your friends are actually the infamous “criminals” known as the Phantom Thieves of Hearts? Why you make him part of the crew, of course! Yuuki Mishima is a social media savant who discovers the alter ego of the protagonist, so he naturally decides to work for the group and create the Phantom Thieves Aficionado Website (also known as the, wait for it, Phan-Site). Besides building up the phan base (see what I did there?), he’ll also be able to support the thieves with buffs that increase EXP earned from battle, allow backup members to earn EXP, and more! Wow, isn’t that just phan-tastic? Ok, I’ll stop now.
Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled youth who live dual lives. They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high-schooler – attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs. But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people. Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self;” the game’s heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective mask and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and use it to strive to help those in need. Players can compete solo in a range of single-player tournaments across each sport, and can play against friends using local and online multiplayer modes. Releasing on the same date is a series of 90 Mario Sports Superstarsamiibo cards, which will be available in packs of five and can be used in-game to power up characters’ skills. Fans who purchase a first print-run version* of the game at retail will receive a randomly-selected amiibo card bundled with the software.
With five fully-fledged sports games included, Mario Sports Superstars offers something for everyone. Soccer fans will compete in full-on 11-a-side matches, and will need to master both team tactics and individual skills in order to be victorious. Fans of the Mario Golf and Mario Tennis series will be familiar with the classic gameplay on offer in the golf and tennis games here, developed by Camelot Software Planning. Baseball fans will need to work on their batting and pitching techniques, as heavy-hitters such as Bowser are lining up to knock it out of the park in the first Mario-themed baseball title to be released in Australia and New Zealand in over 10 years. Each of the five sports on offer in Mario Sports Superstars can be enjoyed in single-player, local multiplayer and online multiplayer modes. In single-player mode, players can take part in tutorials and challenges to hone their skills before entering a number of tournaments suited to all skill levels. Master the elements and earn two unique tanks in a battle of ice and fire
January 27, 2017 — In World of Tanks Blitz, a clash of epic proportions between the forces of ice and fire is soon to begin. In the “New Moon” event, players must choose which side they will fight for and begin their journey towards elemental mastery. The trial to tame the fiery Blaze WZ and the frosty Glacial 112 starts on January 28 through February 18, with tons of extra rewards on the line.
To join your side, these elemental dragons need to see proof of a player’s courage. Battling through the two parallel mission paths in “New Moon” earns Lunar Charms and Dragon Fangs, needed to progress further down the line. Players have two separate quest lines they can follow, which earn them the Blaze WZ 135 FT (Tier VII tank destroyer) or the Glacial 112 (Tier VIII heavy tank). As a reward for each completed stage, players earn credits, Free XP, Premium Account time, and newly introduced boosters.
Those skilled few who complete an entire branch of missions can truly harness the power of one dragon. The Blaze WZ 135 FT is as ruthless as a raging inferno, with a dragon twisted across its hull and turret, featuring a mantlet in the shape of a firedrake’s head. The Glacial 112 is an iceberg on tracks. It has two snow dragons along its sides, and its frosty gun is similar to that of its fiery brother. Players qualified for the Ultimate Team Championship Series through Weekend Qualifying Tournaments in the popular FUT Champions mode in EA SPORTS FIFA 17 and Regional Premier Qualifier tournaments around the world.

The top 16 players from Season One and the top 16 players from Season Two will meet in Berlin on May 20, 2017 for the chance to become Champion of the Ultimate Team Championship Series and take home their share of the $400,000 (USD) prize purse.

Sydney, 27th January 2017 – Today, CI Games presents the first in a two-part series of videos on sniper tactics for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. In this gameplay video, players will learn more about scope calibration, positioning, and the drone itself.
In the main story of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, the player takes on the role of Jonathan North, an American Marine dropped into the Republic of Georgia to accomplish a highly classified Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) mission. But, his personal mission is to find his kidnapped brother.
Standing in his way are enemy Separatists that are currently destabilizing the country. It’s up to Jon to accomplish his mission, discover the whereabouts of his brother and to take down any foes looking to stop him using the following sniper tactics:
Scope Calibration
Check the distance to your target and set the elevation on your scope accordingly to compensate for bullet drop. Check the wind indicator as well as the wind influences whether the bullet will drift to the left or right. When all is set, exhale and take the shot.
Positioning
Take advantage of Jon’s surroundings to maximize his effectiveness in an area. Use the environment to reduce weapon sway while aiming. Crouching and lying down also reduces weapon sway. Sniper bullets are strong and can penetrate multiple targets if lined up correctly, and special sniper bullets can even penetrate walls and other barriers.
