Hertfordshire, 29th June 2017 – KOEI TECMO Europe today proudly revealed that the standalone sequel to the gothic fairy tale action RPG from developer GUST Studios, Nights of Azure, is headed to western shores as Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon on the 27th October 2017. Nights of Azure 2 marks the publisher’s western debut on Nintendo Switch™, with simultaneous releases planned for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC via Steam®.

Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon takes place in a fictional, demon-ridden Western European city towards the end of the 19th century. The story focuses on a knight protector named Alushe and her two childhood friends – Liliana, a kind-hearted priestess, and Ruhenheid, a holy knight of the Lourdes Order. While guarding Liliana, Alushe is ambushed and killed only to later awaken as an artificial half-demon at the hands of the New Curia, a religious organisation with dark ties. In the company of a variety of unlikely allies with their own pasts and agendas, Alushe’s strong desire to save Liliana gives her the strength to scatter the shadows shrouding the world and motivation to uncover the shocking truth behind the mysterious Queen of the Moon.

To introduce some of the colourful characters who comprise the game’s new cast, KOEI TECMO Europe has released a selection of assets featuring Alushe Anatoria, Liliana Selphin and Ruhenheid Ariarod alongside a trailer with a first look at the demon-ridden setting where their narrative unfolds.

Worm Animation have released a new video for Beat The Game that focuses on the game’s hero, Mistik, and the mysterious tree figure, Moss. The video showcases Beat The Game’s beautiful hand-drawn character style that draws influence from the European surrealists like Dali and Ernst, while also making clear the Worm Animation’s pedigree in film animation, notably their contribution to Oscar nominated short film, Gopher Broke.

Mistik is a music producer who makes beats for a living. Equipped with his trusty sampler, he travels to create new sounds out of everyday objects, from a simple wooden stick to a metal can. Mistik doesn’t adhere to our concepts of dimension, distance, time or space because he lives in a dream world, a musician’s dream. Beat The Game’s second character, the hulking Moss, is a bassline maker who lives underground, only making himself visible at night. While Moss doesn’t make entire tracks, his basslines are exactly what Mistik needs to give his tracks that extra kick and bump in energy. PlayStation Plus | Games for July: That’s You!, Until Dawn and Game of Thrones

Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia is pleased to announce the impressive line up of games available to PlayStation Plus members this July.

One of the key announcements from E3 this year was the new PlayLink range – a series of multiplayer, immersive experiences that everyone can enjoy via their PS4, smartphone or tablet. The first release from this range, party quiz game That’s You!, will be available for free to download from Tuesday 4th July.

That’s You! combines over 1,000 questions and involves drawing, posing, laughter and innuendo as you find out how well you really know your friends. The more you agree the more you score! From rude to crude, to sweet and sincere, the game uniquely tailors itself to fit the personalities of every group. Just grab some friends, install the app, hop on your Wi-Fi and away you go. That’s You! supports two-to-six players, offline and online.

Also up in July is Supermassive Game’s critically-acclaimed love letter to the classic slasher flick, Until Dawn. Follow eight typical high-school teenagers to an isolated mountain lodge to commemorate the tragic loss of two friends and watch as power outages and unexplained disappearances turns this into a desperate fight for survival.

Game of Thrones fans are in for a treat with Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series, where you take control of the Forrester family – a noble and long-standing house from the north of Westeros with deep loyalties to the Starks. Caught up in the War of the Five Kings, it’ll be up to you to guide members of the Forrester family throughout a maelstrom of bloody warfare, revenge and intrigue.

Escape from Tarkov to Enter Closed Beta in July

Battlestate Games announced that their open world survival FPS Escape from Tarkov will enter closed beta testing in July. The game is currently in closed alpha, with invites only going out in small batches to select players. Once closed beta testing begins, everyone who pre-ordered the game will get access to Escape from Tarkov.

The beta will bring a significant amount of new content to the game. The giant new Shoreline zone is being added to the map, bringing the total zones in the map to four. Items, weapons, and the economy have been updated. The classic MP5 submachine gun along with a bunch of new weapon mods and ammo types have been added to the game. A merchant and a new insurance system for weapons and equipment have also been implemented, which should give Battlestate Games tools to balance the economy. Finally, players will be able to participate in the General Chat channel that will deliver messages to all online players.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – June 28, 2017/ Kakao Games and PearlAbyss today announced two major region updates to the popular Mediah territory after receiving community feedback.

Monsters that roam the popular grinding spot in Black Desert Online’s Mediah region now give more experience. Sausan Garrison will now have an optimal AP range, so that all adventurers within the AP range will be able to easily hunt monsters in the area. If the adventurer’s AP is lower, the efficiency of grinding will be diminished. However, players with a higher AP will not be able to defeat monsters more efficiently than those who occupy the ideal AP range. This change will help new users venturing into Sausan Garrison and prevent the area from being dominated by over-geared adventurers.

Apart from the Sausan Garrison overhaul, there is a new area called Shultz Guard Post that is intended for more experienced players. Shultz Guard Post sits upon a hill in Northwest Mediah that gazes across the ocean. After the death of Shultz, the greatest gladiator and hero of Sausan, the royal guards left Mediah in search of a forbidden ritual to revive their great leader. Now they have come back, following a clue that the “Dark Red Crystals” in Mediah may hold the secret they seek.

The reform of Sausan Garrison and Shultz Guard Post brings a new balance to Black Desert Online as it expands opportunities for both new and existing players. While Sausan Garrison is available to new adventurers, the new Shultz Guard Post is a competitive spot with a much higher AP range, designed for players that have more advanced gear. Together, both areas will bring more diversity and balance to the Mediah territory, as many members of the community have requested.
