LANDO NORRIS TAKES F1™ 2017 FOR A TEST DRIVE YOUNG DRIVER TESTS CURRENT AND CLASSIC McLAREN CARS IN F1 2017

 

SYDNEY, 10th August 2017 – McLaren Young Driver Lando Norris recently test drove a host of his team’s classic FORMULA ONE™ cars, as well as the striking MCL32 from this year’s championship, in F1 2017, the official videogame of the 2017 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™. Codemasters® have today released a new trailer which showcases Norris taking on the new Japan Short circuit and talking about how each of the cars feels to drive. The exciting young driver, just 17, recently took part in the official FORMULA ONE testing at the Hungaroring, setting the second fastest time behind World Championship leader Sebastian Vettel’s Ferrari.

“Getting behind the wheel for the first time was a really great feeling – after my test in the 2017 car in Hungary, I’m happy to confirm that these cars are much faster and more intense to drive, and that really comes across in the new game,” commented Norris. “I think people are going to have a lot of fun driving the new breed of Grand Prix car in F1 2017.”

He continued: “It was also a really nice experience to get to re-live several chapters of McLaren’s past by driving classic cars from 1988, 1991, ’98 and 2008, each representing a world championship success for the team. The 2008 title-winning car has tons of downforce, and is a lot of fun to throw about. The heritage cars are really the icing on the cake.”

In addition to all the official teams, cars, drivers and circuits from the current scintillating season, F1 2017 features 12* classic cars from McLaren, Ferrari, Williams, Renault and Red Bull Racing. There are also four brand new shortened circuits in Britain, Bahrain, USA and Japan as well as the chance to race around the famous Monaco street circuit at night. F1 2017 releases onto PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC (via Steam) worldwide on August 25th.

*Consumers who pre-order or purchase ‘Day One’ copies of F1 2017 will have access to the iconic 1988 McLaren MP4/4, as part of the ‘F1 2017 Special Edition.’ Alternatively, the McLaren MP4/4 car will be available to be purchased at a later date. The eleven other classic cars are available in all editions of the game.

KOEI TECMO America Reveals New Character and Narrative Details for DYNASTY WARRIORS 9

Immerse Yourself in the Life and Times of your Chosen Character in a Unique Dynasty Warriors Experience!

Burlingame, Calif. – August 10, 2017 – KOEI TECMO America revealed today information on howgameplay will flow in the single-player  story mode of the upcoming DYNASTY WARRIORS 9, Omega Force’s latest entry in the long-running action franchise, slated for release on the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC via Steam®.

Closely following real historical events and figures, DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 will see the player  following the personal struggles and progression of their chosen character through the completion of both key and secondary events which can be reached in a myriad of different ways. The story of the Three Kingdoms will be presented over ten riveting chapters, each reflecting changes in the balance of power in the world and in the available actions to the player.  Each Chapter takes the player a step deeper into the impressive military and political machinations of the era, beginning with the Yellow Turban Rebellion through the ultimate unification of China.

To better illustrate the way DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 will tackle the Three Kingdoms history, KOEI TECMO has released a set of assets illustrating how the gameplay will unfold. Hanabee Entertainment is releasing the anime series Castle Town Dandelion and Monster Musume on DVD and Blu-ray in Australia today. Both titles have a suggested retail price of $49.99.

All 12 episodes of Castle Town Dandelion are presented with English audio and Japanese audio with English subtitles. The on-disc extras include the textless opening animation sequence and the textless ending animation sequence.

All 12 episodes of Monster Musume and the two OVA episodes are presented with Japanese audio and English subtitles. The on-disc extras include music videos, Japanese TV spots and other promotional videos, outtakes, the “Almost Every Day!” shorts and the textless opening and ending animation sequences.

Ys Seven Arrives on PC on August 30

Not long ago XSEED Games announced plans to release Ys Seven on PCs and today the company announced exactly when this port of the PSP RPG will be released on Steam, GOG, and The Humble Store. Starting on August 30th the game will be available on all of these digital storefronts at a price point of $24.99/€24.99/£19.99 though it will be sold at a temporary discount of 10% off for one week after launch. This version of Ys Seven will feature localization adjustments, HD upscaled graphics, and run at 60FPS. The Steam version of the game will also come with the ability to earn achievements, Trading Cards, and use cloud saves.

This first fully 3D entry in the Ys series follows the story of Adol and Dogi, who end up being charged with espionage after saving a local girl from harassment by a commanding officer in the city of Altago. Once the king of Altago learns of the duo he quickly releases them and tells them of an ancient shrine that was uncovered after a recent earthquake, and asks for their help in investigating this mysterious new find unaware that this will begin a long journey with the fate of all Altago hanging in the balance.

Gal Gun VR Released on Steam

Late last year we learned that Inti Creates was working on a special version of Gal Gun that would work for virtual reality headsets and it seems that the company has not only managed to complete the game, they are already prepared to sell it as Gal Gun VR has launched on Steam for PC without any forewarning. Gal Gun VR as it is called is $29.99 and requires the use of either the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift headset to play.

Although some gameplay elements appear to be altered, the premise remains similar to previous entries in the series with players being shot by Cupid’s arrows and fending off the confessions of every woman around him in an effort to find his true love before their effects wear off and leave him alone forever. Nights of Azure 2 Battle and Level Up System Detailed

A new batch of information, as well as a new set of screenshots and a fancy little trailer, has been released for Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon and this time around Koei Tecmo is focusing on the game’s battle systems as well as how players will be leveling up in the game when it is released in the West. In the game players will encounter a large number of unique fiends that they will need to take down and they will need to rely on their close bonds with their companions to emerge victorious.

The battle party will always feature Aluche as the player character, an NPC that the player can choose, and a pair of Servans to help them out. Each member of your team will have a unique selection of skills to the equation, ranging from different fighting styles and weapons to the beautiful Lily Burst, a power-up that combines the extraordinary abilities of Aluche and her humanoid companion into a devastating blow.

Aluche’s Servan allies are also useful assets to the team, with their incredible Servan Actions, which can help turn the tide of battle in her favor! The invaluable Tricker types are able to gain an advantage by unleashing their elemental abilities, dealing critical status effects to their foes. One such Tricker is the mighty canine companion, Scharf, who sends electrified spheres onto the battlefield to paralyze and inflict lasting damage on enemies! Trickers can change form as they evolve, and can grow more powerful through Reincarnation, which drastically increases their stats, allowing them to access new types of attacks and unlock incredible abilities.

As for the Aluche, she soon discovers that the blood of slain fiends can be used to heighten her body’s strength, and players are able to choose new abilities fitting their preferred play-style from a wide selection of varied combat styles. Destiny 2 Competitive Multiplayer Trailer Released

With Destiny 2 set to be released in a little under a month Activision and Bungie have decided to release an official competitive multiplayer trailer that shows off a bit of combat for each of the main classes. The Crucible will offer a variety of game modes to choose from in this sequel, including matches that will feature “Control” points that must be conquered and held by teams, “Countdown” where players will either be assaulting or defending a pre-set point, and “Survival” which is fairly self explanatory.

Moero Chronicle Release Date and Opening Video Released

Idea Factory International had previously announced plans to release the PS Vita exclusive first person dungeon crawler Moero Chronicle in the West for the PC and now the company not only has a set Steam release date but also an English version of the openign theme. The game will be released on PC through Steam on August 16th and will be available at a 30% discount for the first week of sale. Alongside the standard version of the game a special “deluxe pack” will be available separately for $5.99 and will include a digital “Monster Girls Gallery” art book, three PC wallpapers, and three phone wallpapers.

Moero Chronicle follows the story of a young man named Io who cannot talk to women to save his life thanks to his perverted mind but he manages to stay calm when talking to monster girls, especially his best friend Lilia. When Io is tasked with going to the dangerous region of Monstopia where monster girls have begun rampaging will he be up to the task and be able to find out the source of their madness? We’ll have to wait and see.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode’s Fourth Volume Screenshots Released

As we’ve previously learned, Bandai Namco is bringing the .hack series back with .hack//G.U. Last Recode and they are even going so far as to add a brand new entry into the series with a fourth volume of .hack//G.U. included in the trilogy. This fourth volume is set one year and three months after the events of the third volume and while Haseo had previously quit the game since then, a strange e-mail hinting that his friend Ovan has been located appears to him.

With the service of The World R:2 ending on December 31, 2018 Haseo must return to the game once more in an effort to save his missing friend before it is too late. The company has released a large batch of screenshots focusing on this fourth volume and you can check them out below while the game itself will be released on the PlayStation 4 and PC in Japan on November 1st and in the West sometime this fall.

LIFE IS STRANGE: BEFORE THE STORM ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH BRITISH INDIE-FOLK BAND, DAUGHTER

Original musical score goes on general sale September 1st 2017

SYDNEY, 8th August 2017 – SQUARE ENIX®, publisher of award-winning and best-selling videogame franchises such as FINAL FANTASY® and TOMB RAIDER®, today announced that the original musical score for LIFE IS STRANGE™: BEFORE THE STORM, the next game in the award-winning, multi-million copy selling, episodic LIFE IS STRANGE franchise, will feature music by British indie-folk band Daughter. The original music score entitled “Music From Before The Storm” will be released via Glassnote Records/4AD on September 1st  2017. The game features all the tracks on Music from Before the Storm as well as additional licensed tracks including two classic tracks from Daughters back catalogue.

The game was officially unveiled as part of the Xbox E3 Briefing in June. The first of three episodes will be released on Xbox One®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC on August 31st 2017.

“Life is Strange is a game that evokes a lot of emotion in people and, alongside great storytelling and characterisation, it’s music that plays a huge role in this”, said Jon Brooke Vice President for Brand Marketing, Square Enix London Studios. “It was really important for us to find a great collaboration for original music alongside our licensed tracks to capture the raw emotion of our game and Daughter fit that bill perfectly. Once we’d heard all the tracks for the game we really wanted the album to have a full release so our fans could enjoy them over and over. We’re really thankful and excited to be on the brink of a Life is Strange Daughter album release, we hope everyone enjoys the tracks as much as we expect.”
