Players can earn stars and gain experience points by completing various stages. Players can use these experience points to unlock new restaurants to create the ultimate gourmet town.

Devolver Digital And Sloclap Detail ‘Absolver’ Online Features And Post Release Update Plan New content including new gameplay modes, features and moves coming post launch to Absolver

PARIS – The clenched fists at Sloclap and drunken boxers of Devolver Digital have detailed the online multiplayer features in their forthcoming melee combat game Absolver with the new ‘Friends & Foes’ video feature. The development team has also announced the first post-release content in a set of free updates scheduled to happen over the next six months including new gameplay modes, new features, and new moves to expand players’ customizable Combat Deck.

The core of Absolver’s gameplay is its deep fighting mechanics and online combat. Prospects will enter the plains of Adal alone and encounter both AI-controlled opponents and live players through Absolver’s shared online experience structure. Players will roam the world as their own independent ‘server’ as the game seamlessly introduces other Prospects into their game experience. Once players encounter one another they will have a choice to engage in friendly sparring, more aggressive PvP combat, or cooperative PvE play with up to three players at once. Through online cooperative play each Prospect will be able to learn new moves from one another, progress on their path to Absolution, and gain experience points that can be spent on one of six attributes to improve their skills.

Absolver also features unique fighting school mechanic where more advanced players can create their own school of combat that other players may join. The school creator effectively becomes a mentor to these students and this relationship allows for the mentor’s students to use their Combat Deck and the more robust catalog of more advanced moves that comes with it.

Sloclap has announced the first in many free content updates to the game to continue to expand the world of Absolver and cater to the wishes of the community. Through extensive testing and a closed beta, early players have requested features like 3 versus 3 mode, ranked matches, and a spectator mode to watch the action and jump in when it is your turn to battle. These three features will be some of the first implemented in a series of free content updates alongside new Combat Styles and moves for players’ Combat Decks.

STAR WARS™: FORCE ARENA INTRODUCES PREQUEL UPDATE

SEOUL, Korea – Aug 17, 2017 Netmarble Games Corp., the fastest-growing mobile game company in Asia, today announced the Prequel update to the real time mobile PvP Star Wars™: Force Arena, adding 16 new popular characters.

Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul and General Grievous who are fan-favorite iconic characters in the Star Wars prequel, have been added to the game as leader characters. And along with these leader characters, a total of 16 new characters were added into the game including Mace Windu, Ashoka Tano, Republic Attack Gunship, Republic Commandos, Clone Trooper, Riot Control Clone Trooper, IG-101, Sith Probe Droid, Umbaran Soldier, Droid Gunship, B1 Battle Droid, and Magna Guard.

Two new prequel themed maps, Felucia and Utapau were added to the game, which are now available on both 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 battles. Maps are now available per player level and certain maps will open when players level up. The ‘Arcade Mode’ was also added, which includes the ‘Draft Mode’ and ‘2vs2 Unranked Match.’ The Arcade Mode is intended to give players more rewards and offer a whole new fun aspect. Other updates include UI renewal to the store and strengthening the functions within the game.

These two original collections, each with five guffaw-inducing multiplayer games, are available to purchase digitally today through the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch for $24.99 each.

As a bonus, players who own any of the first three titles in The Jackbox Party Pack series on Nintendo Switch will receive a 20% discount when purchasing any other title in the series from the Nintendo eShop. Epic Story Trailer Releases Today, Four More Characters Added and Game Mode Details Shared

London, UK – August 17, 2017 – Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today released an all-new cinematic trailer that highlights never-before-seen elements of the story mode experience featured in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM®: INFINITE. The action-packed trailer expands upon the key plot points, with heroes from both universes coming together in an attempt to stop Ultron Sigma from infecting all biological life in the newly merged Marvel and Capcom worlds.

More playable characters in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE have been recently confirmed, including Jedah, Dormammu, Firebrand, and Ghost Rider. Munich/Vienna, Aug. 17, 2017 – Today THQ Nordic released an all-new CGI trailer for SpellForce 3, the real-time-strategy meets role-playing fantasy game launching this winter on Windows PC. The trailer offers a recap of the events, narrated by voice actor Doug Cockle, leading up to the newest iteration in the franchise, while providing a glimpse of the battles to come.
