Namco Museum Mini Player and PAC-MAN™ Pocket Player will be Featured at E3

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 12, 2018 – MY ARCADE,  US Based Retro Gaming specialist, and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., have joined forces and are set to announce two new gaming devices filled with Classic NAMCO games at this year’s E3. The new machines further expand the line of products borne out of the partnership, which already includes a set of Micro Player Arcades featuring classic titles such as PAC-MAN™, GALAGA™, and DIG DUG™.

The NAMCO Museum Mini Player will be packed with 20 classic titles and features a large vertical-oriented screen for authentic arcade gameplay. It also features dual front facing speakers for optimal sound, a detachable joystick, and back-lit marquee and coin trap. All of the titles included on the device are the original arcade versions of the games, unless there was no original arcade version available. The Namco Museum Mini Player™ is slated to release Holiday 2018.

The PAC-MAN Pocket Player is a brand new 16-bit handheld console designed by My Arcade that is compact, portable, ergonomically designed, and boasts a full color screen. The Pocket Player™ will include three classic PAC-MAN titles, including original arcade favorite PAC-MAN, along with PAC-PANIC™ and PAC-MANIA™. The Pocket Player will be available starting July 2018 at retailers such as Walmart and Amazon.

E3 2018 | PlayStation Media Showcase News Summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia is pleased to share a summary of the key news from the E3 2018 PlayStation Media Showcase, held in Los Angeles earlier today.

The showcase opened with the world premiere of The Last of Us Part II gameplay, with over 10 minutes of video for fans to feast their eyes on as part of a gripping and intimate trailer.

A stunning first look at gameplay was showcased for epic, open-world samurai adventure, Ghost of Tsushima and a jaw dropping Resident Evil 2 remake was announced for PS4, with a 25th January, 2019, release date confirmed.

An extraordinary new trailer for Death Stranding was debuted, revealing more about protagonist Sam, introducing two heroines (played by Lindsay Wagner and Lea Seydoux) and giving fans the chance to discover new mysteries.

PlayStation Plus* members were given an extra special treat in celebration of the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.  Available now, all PS Plus members are able to download Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 free for PS4, until July 11th.  On top of this, it was announced that all PS4 players who pre-order Black Ops 4 on PS Store will receive access “Back in Black” maps, immediately playable for Black Ops 3.

Closing out the showcase was a striking new trailer for the massive upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, Marvel’s Spider-Man, where many of the Super Villains he has put away over his eight years are released simultaneously. Spidey is seen taking on Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, Electro and Mister Negative.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — June 12, 2018 — Ubisoft has announced a new installment of the Assassin’s Creed® franchise, Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey. The game will be released worldwide on October 5, 2018, on the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC. In addition, Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey has been enhanced with additional features for Xbox One X and PS4™Pro systems.

For the last three years, the team at Ubisoft Quebec* has been creating an exciting new chapter for the Assassin’s Creed® franchise. In Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey, the action takes place in Ancient Greece, a world rich with myths and legend, in fifth century BC during the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens. Playing as Alexios or Kassandra, a mercenary of Spartan blood sentenced to death by their family, players will embark on an epic journey from a young outcast to a legendary hero and uncover the truth about their mysterious lineage.

Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey is an ambitious action role-playing game that places choice at the centre of the experience. An all-new interactive dialogue system empowers players to forge their own path and impact the game’s world, characters and story to shape the future of Greece. Players will customise weapons and gear, master and equip new special abilities, and charge into massive battles between Sparta and Athens, pitting hundreds of soldiers against each other. The return of open-world naval combat allows players to seamlessly explore the open seas, customise their ship and recruit their own crew with unique perks. Ubisoft Invites Artists to Participate in Making the Epic World of Beyond Good and Evil 2

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – June 12, 2018 – Ubisoft has announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with HITRECORD, the LA-based creative collaborative platform founded by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Beyond Good and Evil 2 senior producer Guillaume Brunier appeared together on stage during Ubisoft’s E3 2018 Conference to invite artists of every type and skill to participate in the Space Monkey Program and collaborate on content such as poster designs, radio ads and original music that will appear in the game.

“Right from the start, we knew we wanted to involve our community in unprecedented ways,” said Michel Ancel, creative director of Beyond Good and Evil 2. “HITRECORD is the perfect partner to collaborate with to create this expansive world by bringing our passionate communities together and bring it to life.”

Participants will be able upload original artwork, music and more, or build content contributed by other users. Creative briefings and regular reviews from key members of the Beyond Good & Evil 2 development team will guide the process and the community artists, who will work with others on the platform to develop and produce the finished content. Contributors to assets included in the game will be credited and paid for their contributions.

The Beyond Good and Evil 2 and HITRECORD creative teams will be reviewing contributions along the way and providing feedback and direction to the community.

Set seven months after a deadly virus was released in New York City, The Division 2 raises the stakes for players by launching them into a fractured and collapsing Washington D.C. – built as a one-to-one recreation of the city. SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — June 12, 2018 —Ubisoft has showcased Hunting Grounds, the new PvPvE (player-versus player-versus-environment) content for Skull & Bones, its upcoming online naval game set within the vast Indian Ocean. Skull & Bones will be releasing in 2019 on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC.

Hunting Grounds transports players into a shared PvPvE world where they can sail alone or as part of a pirate gang while looting lucrative trade routes, encountering powerful empires and battling brutal pirate rivals, all while surviving the treacherous ocean itself. Hunting Grounds will be available alongside the Disputed Waters multiplayer mode, which was unveiled last year at E3, and Deadly Encounters. In the Disputed Waters PvP (player-versus-player) mode, players form two teams of five as they fight over riches, sink their opponents and ultimately escape from the clutches of fierce pirate hunters.

Throughout their adventure, players will acquire unique and deadly warships each of which is designed to fit a specific combat role based on unique playstyles. These ships can be outfitted with new weapons and crewmembers giving limitless freedom to gameplay. In addition to mastering their arsenal, players must also learn to read and utilise the wind to navigate the sea and position themselves to deliver crushing blows to enemy ships. Skull & Bones will also feature a rich cosmetics system that will allow players to customise their captain avatars, figurehead, sails, helm, emblems, colours and more to design their ideal pirate ships.

Ubisoft also revealed one new statue, 2 figurines and one replica from Ubicollectibles inspired by Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is an ambitious role-playing game that places choice at the center of the experience. The action takes place in Ancient Greece, a world rich with myths and legend, in fifth century BC during the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens. Playing as Alexios or Kassandra, a mercenary of Spartan blood sentenced to death by their family.
