SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – September 14, 2018 2K and Firaxis Games has announced that Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI, winner of The Game Awards’ Best Strategy Game, DICE Awards’ Best Strategy Game and latest entry in the prestigious Civilization franchise, is coming to Nintendo Switch™ on November 16, 2018. Additionally, 2K and Firaxis Games have partnered with Aspyr Media to bring Civilization VI to Nintendo Switch and ensure the experience meets the same high standards of the beloved series.

Originally created by legendary game designer, Sid Meier, Civilization is a turn-based strategy game in which you build an empire to stand the test of time. Explore a new land, research technology, conquer your enemies, and go head-to-head with history’s most renowned leaders as you attempt to build the greatest civilization the world has ever known.

And now on Nintendo Switch, the quest to victory in Civilization VI can take place wherever and whenever players want.

Key features for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI on Nintendo Switch include:

  • PLAY YOUR WAY: The path to victory is the one you determine. Become the most scientifically advanced civilization, dominate through sheer military power, or become the foremost destination for the cultural arts.
  • THE WORLD’S GREATEST LEADERS: Play as one of 24 different leaders from various countries around the world and throughout history. Build an empire of lucrative trade routes with Cleopatra of Egypt, flex the military might of your legions with Trajan of Rome, or develop a powerhouse of culture with Hojo Tokimune of Japan. Each of the leaders can be played any way you prefer, with unique abilities, units, and infrastructure in their quest for victory.
  • EXPANSIVE EMPIRES: See the marvels of your empire spread across the map. Settle in uncharted lands, improve your surroundings, build new districts, and see your cities – and your civilization – prosper.
  • ACTIVE RESEARCH: Unlock boosts that speed your civilization’s progress through history. To advance more quickly, use your units to actively explore, develop your environment, and discover new cultures.
  • DYNAMIC DIPLOMACY: Interactions with other civilizations change over the course of the game, from primitive first interactions where conflict is a fact of life, to late game alliances and negotiations.
  • EXCITING AND UNIQUE SCENARIOS: Civilization VI for Nintendo Switch includes four playable scenarios, each with a different setting and style of gameplay inspired by history.  Be part of the colonization of Australia in “Outback Tycoon,” defend Poland from invaders in “Jadwiga’s Legacy”, choose a Viking leader to plunder Europe in “Vikings, Raiders, and Traders!”, or conquer the known world in the “Conquests of Alexander.”
  • COOPERATIVE AND COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER: Up to 4 players can cooperate or compete for supremacy via a wireless LAN.

Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI will be available on Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018.  Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI is rated PG and is available now on Windows PC. Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI is also available on iPad, Mac and Linux from Aspyr Media.

Hilarious Live-Action Dating Simulator Super Seducer 2 is Now Available on Steam

Live-Action Dating Sim Sequel Launches with Ten Times the Budget, a More Diverse Cast, the Female Perspective, and an Even More Comical Script

PORT-LOUIS, MAURITIUS (SEPTEMBER 13, 2018) – Best-selling author and renowned dating coach Richard La Ruina’s much-anticipated dating sim sequel, Super Seducer 2, is now available for Windows PC and Mac! The self-proclaimed “Friendly Neighborhood Seduction Guru” graces Steam once more with a bigger, better, and more conscientious full-motion-video (FMV) game where you learn the artistry of attraction. Armed with the feedback of players and critics alike, Super Seducer 2 re-enters the dating and seduction simulation scene with more meaningful content, adding women’s dating perspectives, a diverse cast of characters, and improved scenario feedback!

In Super Seducer 2, dating masters Richard La Ruina and Charlotte Jones guide players on how to become the most delightful bachelors and bachelorettes on the market. Adversely, they criticize and demonize actions that overstep boundaries and disrespect potential love interests. Richard La Ruina — in collaboration with a predominantly female cast and crew, his wife and producer Kate La Ruina, and America’s #1 Asian Dating Coach JT Tran — implements his most sound and inclusive dating tips into Super Seducer 2. Exploring everything from social cues to the psychology behind a first impression and everything in between, Super Seducer 2 teaches players of different backgrounds and gender how to become irresistible and make the right flirtatious choices so that they may soon find themselves in the arms of their soulmate.

“So many lovely and talented people helped make Super Seducer 2 a reality and a soon-to-be hit, including fans of the first game and even its critics,” said Richard La Ruina, creator of Super Seducer 2. “From day one, we utilized the feedback we received to make the sequel a more inclusive experience for all. Based on the game’s Steam wishlist count, that’s resonated well.

“The team and I hope,” he continued, “that players have even more fun this time around and truly learn how to be more confident and considerate when out on the dating field; that is our primary goal, and we ask those who remain cynical of our efforts to try Super Seducer 2 for themselves.”

“We put everything into making Super Seducer 2 as approachable and funny as possible, and I’m very proud of the result,” said Kate La Ruina, producer of Super Seducer 2. “I hope the fans of the first game love it and that we can convince some of the detractors to give the game a chance. We set out to make people laugh and teach them along the way how to properly start a relationship which is something everyone can relate to.”

Super Seducer 2 is a mature, non-nudity FMV game and true-to-life dating simulator that teaches men and women alike how to take their skills (or lack thereof) with a love interest to the next level. Like its predecessor, Super Seducer 2 features branching dialogue options that give players control of how each scenario ends. Players that make the wrong moves in their flirtatious conquests face a variety of awkward outcomes that range from simple eye roll to a thoroughly deserved rear choke hold. From professional dating tips from top advisors to outright cringe-inducing cautionary blunders, Super Seducer 2 is sure to leave a lasting impression and give you the tools needed to find that special someone once thought to be out of your league!

Key Features of Super Seducer 2 Include:

  • Two Sides of the Coin: Two dating scenarios played completely from a woman’s perspective and the ability to give consent from the woman’s perspective in the men’s POV scenarios.
  • Dating is Everyone’s Game: A larger, racially and gender diverse cast of characters — bringing the total to a whopping 50 versus the original game’s 15. Super Seducer 2 also features an entire chapter in spoken Mandarin language.
  • Seeing the Whole Picture: All scenarios feature comprehensive and sensible feedback from both Richard and his knowledgeable female colleague Charlotte Jones.
  • Cross-Cultural Dating: Scenarios that encourage players of various ethnic backgrounds to be their unapologetically authentic selves — created under the consultation of ABC’s of Attraction founder JT Tran, America’s #1 Asian Dating Coach and premiere social coach for people of color.
  • Swipe Right: An online dating level that digs to the core of what makes a digital first impression stick and how to stand above the rest, because modern dating requires proper use of Tinder and similar apps.
  • Everyone Loves a Laugh: Included in the game is an interactive stand-up interlude led by stand-up comedian Leo Kearse. Entertaining a crowd is a lot like dating —  both require charm and confidence.
  • Bigger, Better, Stronger: A production budget ten times greater than the original with 50% more playtime, 35 different endings, and more in-depth gameplay featuring flashbacks, multiple locations, and realistic transitions from scenario to scenario.

Super Seducer 2 is available now for purchase for Windows PC on Steam for $12.99 USD at https://uberstrategist.link/SuperSeducer2-Steam. “The Dark Side of Seduction?: The Super Seducer 2 Documentary” and Richard La Ruina’s second book “Soulmate Sequence” are also available for $4.99 USD each, exclusively through Steam as a standalone DLC purchase or with the game in a discounted bundle.

Once they’ve completed the game, fans can directly influence the content of the newly announced Super Seducer 3 ahead of its March 6, 2019 release by contributing to the game’s Steam discussion forum or by sending direct feedback to creator Richard La Ruina through Facebook or Twitter.

About Super Seducer 2
Super Seducer 2 is the latest release in the popular (over 90,000 copies sold) dating and relationship series. Featuring over 11 hours of full-motion-video (FMV) content, the game aims to teach players the ins, outs, tips, and tricks, to successfully flirt, introduce themselves, and move beyond “Hi.” Directed by and featuring Richard La Ruina, world-renowned men’s dating coach and best-selling author, Super Seducer 2 expands upon the original game by adding more comedic elements, along with expanded gameplay focusing on a woman’s perspective and a diversity of characters from different ethnic and racial backgrounds. The game teaches proven flirting techniques and rewards players for being genuine and charming, while docking points for being sleazy or offensive. PUBG MOBILE ADDS SANHOK MAP, NEW WEAPONS AND MORE IN MASSIVE SEPTEMBER UPDATE

World’s most popular mobile battle royale game surpasses 20 million daily active users and nearly one billion matches played in previous season

LOS ANGELES – Sept. 13, 2018 – In all-new update that’s available today, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG MOBILE) is now offering the much-anticipated Sanhok map.  Set in a dense jungle with varying landscape, Sanhok offers players a smaller map for more tense combat scenarios and gun battles, adding to the list of previous updates, which included the Miramar map, training mode, first-person mode and much more.

Tencent Games today also released even more impressive statistics for PUBG MOBILE, as the game continues to impress the market with more than 20 million daily active users (not including Japan, Korea and China). In Season 2, the previous 14-week period of games, more than 130 million players from more than 200 countries earned themselves 864,425,575 chicken dinners.

In addition to the inclusion of Sanhok, PUBG MOBILE’s latest update adds new in-game and social features that enhance the player’s ability to work with teammates cooperatively, including:

  • New Weapons and Vehicles – Sanhok map comes with several new weapons and vehicles, including the Flare Gun, QBZ, Muscle Car and Bulletproof UAZ
  • Anti-Cheating Measures – Improved recognition for cheating plug-ins and added report buttons to Spectator Mode, Basic Information, and Results screens

Crytek Releases Performance Update 2.4 for Hunt: Showdown

Crytek Releases Performance Update 2.4 for Hunt: Showdown

FRANKFURT, Germany Sept. 13, 2018 – Performance in Hunt: Showdown gets a big boost this month with the release of Update 2.4, which focuses on performance-related additions and changes to the multiplayer FPS bounty hunting game from Crytek. Additionally, the new solo mode, which proved to be highly popular during the game’s recent Solo Event, is here to stay.

Performance upgrades in 2.4 are manifold, and in a new video interview Level Design Director Chris Auty and Technical Director Sebastien Laurent discuss the performance updates in 2.4 in detail, while Senior Game Designer Andreas Liebeskind and Junior Technical Designer Bence Kovacs weigh in on the new weapons, content updates, and game fixes.

Changes to the game’s graphics settings offer one of the biggest potential improvements to performance, as rendering has been split out into different quality settings, allowing players to make choices about things like shadow quality or particle quality fitting to their specific machine. Players with limited GPU performance should see the biggest benefits from this change. Resolution scaling is another big feature now available with 2.4. Originally introduced in Crytek’s Ryse: Son of Rome, resolution scaling decouples display resolution with rendering resolution, significantly improving performance on the GPU level. CPU optimizations were also made on the game code side, and this should result in significantly less stalling. Level loading times should also improve.

Three new weapons are also packed into Update 2.4. The new Nagant Officer M1895 Carbine pistol has a long barrel and a stock, which means it behaves more like a rifle than a pistol. The new Specter 1882 Compact Shotgun has a sawn-off barrel, foregrip, and wider spread (if shorter range). The Crossbow Shotbolt mixes the characteristics of a shotgun with those of a crossbow, utilizing bolts tipped with shotgun shells that detonate on impact, setting off a cone of shotgun pellets.

About Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown is a competitive first-person bounty hunting game with heavy PvE elements, from the makers of Crysis. Set in the darkest corners of the world, it packs the thrill of survival games into a match-based format. Hunt’s competitive, match-based gameplay mixes PvP and PvE elements to create a uniquely tense experience. Each match pits up to ten players—playing solo or in teams of two—against each other as they fight for bounty by taking out gruesome monsters in the swamps of Louisiana. Once they’ve found and defeated one of these they will receive a bounty—and instantly become a target for every other Hunter left on the map. The higher the risk, the higher the reward–but a single mistake could cost everything. Hunt is available now on Steam. For more information, visit https://www.huntshowdown.com/.
