MORE THAN 300 TEAMS COMPETE FOR GLORY IN PUBG MOBILE CLUB OPEN GROUP STAGE SPONSORED BY Vivo

Teams from different regions begin battling with Group Stage kicking off this Friday, April 26

LOS ANGELES – April 26, 2019 – The world’s best PUBG MOBILE teams will begin their quest to take home part of a $2.5 million USD prize pool in the inaugural PUBG MOBILE Club Open 2019 (PMCO 2019). Leading global technology company, Vivo is the official title sponsor, providing smartphones to empower players’ conquest at the competition with ultra-smooth gaming experience.

Beginning this Friday, April 26, more than 300 teams divided across different regions will battle against each other in the Spring Split Group Stages with the top 24 teams advancing to the semi-finals. The PMCO 2019 regions are China, Europe, India, Middle East, North America, South America, South East Asia and the Wildcard for teams that are not included in any of the regions listed.

Leading global technology company, Vivo is the official title sponsor of the PMCO 2019, providing smartphones to empower players’ conquest at the competition with ultra-smooth gaming experience. The PMCO will culminate this July, as the top 16 teams will compete in the Spring Split Global Finals in Berlin, Germany. Another Fall Split is planned for later this year.

The PMCO 2019 Spring Split began in March, with more than 30,000 teams from around the world participating in official in-game qualifiers for a chance to earn a spot in the Spring Split Group Stage in their respective region.

There are familiar faces among the teams who qualified to the Group Stage, including the PUBG MOBILE Star Challenge Champion Team RRQ, and the PUBG MOBILE India Series Champion Team Soul. These two teams really have gained a lot of attention and we shall see how they perform in the Group Stage which will kick off on April 26. Samurai Shodown Ukyo Tachibana Gameplay Trailer Released

SNK has continued their series of character trailers for Samurai Shodown with this latest video introducing Ukyo Tachibana who is described by the company as a master of Iaijutsu who has been stricken with an incurable respiratory disease. Despite being ill Ukyo is as precise as ever with his deadly blade making him a powerful fighter and even though he is sick he remains quite popular with the ladies as demonstrated briefly in the video below.

Samurai Shodown is currently set to be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June in North America and Europe with a Switch and PC version arriving sometime later this year.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation Arrives on PlayStation 4 Mid-June

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation has now been given a release date for at least one of its planned platforms as Idea Factory International has announced that the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be released on June 18th in North America and June 21st in Europe. The PC version of the game, that will contain the original CGs found in the Japanese release compared to the two modified CGs found in the PlayStation 4 version, currently does not have a release date but will be given one in the near future.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation offers eleven different characters to choose from with over one hundred and fifty dating events with players able to make choices that will affect their overall destiny with the girls as they aim for each heroine’s true ending.

Planet Zoo Announced for PC

Frontier Developments, the studio that recently worked on Jurassic World Evolution, has announced plans to release a new zoo simulation game called Planet Zoo for PC sometime this fall. Players will be able to create an “ultimate zoo” that will feature “authentic living animals who think, feel and explore the world you create around them.”

The game will offer a campaign that will span the globe or allow players to have free reign in a Sandbox mode with both versions allowing players to create unique habitats and vast landscapes, make big decisions and meaningful choices, and nurture their animals. Rage 2 Explains Itself in New Trailer

With about two and a half weeks until Rage 2 is released Bethesda and Avalanche Studios have released a new trailer for the game that gives us a great look over everything that players can expect from the game. This includes a slight recap that details how the world ended up the way it did, the various enemy factions that players will need to mow down to accomplish their goals, and a look at the tools they will be able to use to do so.

With over eighty percent of the world’s population destroyed and the survivors dwindling in numbers numerous bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule with an iron fist. Players control Walker, the last Ranger, who was left for dead by the gangs after they destroyed his home and now it is time for a bit of justice and a lot of revenge. Rage 2 is currently slated to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14th.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers Announced for Switch and PlayStation 4

After just announcing an enhanced version of Persona 5 yesterday Atlus has now announced that they have a brand new game on the way but this one is styled a little bit different. Developed by Omega Force, the game is called Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers and will be a musou/warriors style game that will generally place players up against thousands of enemy units at a time.

So far we only know that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is going to be released on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch sometime in the future and that Joker will be a playable character though the teaser trailer does show a mysterious girl that has never appeared in the series up to this point.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Thinblood Clan Detailed

Last month we learned that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 would be arriving in 2020 and now Paradox Interactive and developer Hardsuit Labs have released some new information about the game in the form of a trailer and new details for the Thinblood clan who were always represented in the previous game as being second-rate vampires that were looked down upon by other clans.

It seems that when players begin the game they will start as a newly embraced Thinblood before eventually being able to join one of the five full-blooded Kindred clans. The thinbloods are a recent, weaker strain of vampire who face a constant struggle to survive in the World of Darkness. While they are often treated as second-class citizens by full-blood Kindred, Seattle’s leadership has been uncharacteristically tolerant of Thinbloods. As Seattle has only relatively recently come under Camarilla control, it remains a city of opportunity where Thinbloods can navigate their way into the higher circles of vampire society; however, they are rarely shown the same respect or legal standing that full-blood clan members enjoy.

Tamarin Announced for PlayStation 4 and PC

A brand new action adventure game called Tamarin has been announced for the PlayStation 4 and PC by indie developer Chameleon Games and the development team features a number of prominent previous Rare developers with the game’s concept art, pre-production, and character design all being handled by the creators of games such as Diddy Kong, Banjo-Kazooie, and Battletoads while the art production is handled by Donkey Kong 64 artist Richard Vaucher, its music by Donkey Kong Country composer David Wise, and its sound effects by Graeme Norgate.

With all of those accolades out of the way Tamarin is is set in a Nordic world where pollution and destruction from ever-expanding insects sets the agile monkey into a fight for his family’s survival with players controlling the world’s cutest monkey, a tamarin. Days Gone Survival Difficulty and Weekly Challenges Begin in June

Now that Bend Studio and Sony have released the PlayStation 4 exclusive Days Gone the company has announced that they will be planning some updates in the near future that will make the game a bit more difficult should players want a bit more of a challenge. Sometime in the future a “Survival” difficulty mode will increase the game’s difficulty, remove fast travel and “Survival Vision” and also remove maps and indicators from the gameplay screen. Every tweak and change made is designed to further immerse players and ratchet up the tension to make this the definitive survival experience.

In June a number of new challenges will also be introduced every week in the form of Bike, Horde, or Combat challenges that will reward players with unique items and other rewards.
